Chapter 9: Ch9 Training X Game
– Training Room.
Akira is currently stretching his body after accepting Chairman Netero's offer earlier. ' Why am I here again?.'
Akira wanted to reject the offer at first since he was too hungry after meditation. but Netero said something that caught his interest.
' He suddenly said that if I won, he would reward me, a reward that I can't pass up. Let's hope I can make this worth it.' Akira thought as he looked at Netero.
Akira's intention wasn't really to win the game although he won't deny he was tempted to the reward Netero is talking about, but his real intention is for him to get used to his new body. Akira noticed how his body didn't move exactly how he envisioned it. Even though his body now is much more powerful than average he couldn't use it properly because of the misalignment in his movement.
Akira, Gon, and Killua finished their stretching and looked to Netero.
" Now, I'll go over the rules of the game. If you can take this ball from me, before the airship reaches its destination, it's your win." Netero said as he continued.
" I believe that we're scheduled for an 8 a.m. arrival. Well, that still gives you eight hours. You're free to attack me however you'd like. I won't touch you."
The two look astounded at how advantageous the rules are for them. Akira wasn't that surprised not only because they are kind of weak right now and Netero has a lot of experience.
" Is it that's all? Then I'll go first." Killua said as he dashed towards Netero and pounded at him.
Netero easily dodges Killua's attack, He then steps back after dodging Killua's kicks. But it wasn't the end, Killua kept on attacking Netero without break.
Akira looked at the two with an astounded face. The two were moving faster than any human he had seen before. ' I am really in another world now.'
Gon looks fascinated seeing how fun the two look while playing. ' So close!.'
Killua almost the ball but Netero twisted his wrist making the ball drop and kicked it up to catch it with his hand again.
' Is he really as old as he looks? He was faster than me.' Killua thought as he wiped the sweat on his chin.
Netero wasn't even sweating a bit after those minutes they were playing. He is even juggling the ball making it easier to get.
' He keeps on darting around, In that case, I'll stop his movement.
Killua then dashed straight to Netero before sliding aiming at his leg. It made a contact making a loud sound.
" Ouch... right on his pivot leg!." Gon couldn't help but clamored.
Akira also flinched seeing how the attack connected.
' Looks hurt a lot.'
Killua smiled seeing that his attack landed but his face changed into discomfort after feeling the pain from his leg.
" Ow!!." Killua cried out as he jumped out and down.
' That was an awfully good kick with nothing held back, If I were an ordinary person that would shatter my leg.' Netero thought as he looked at his leg.
" Damn... This old geezer's legs feel like steel." Killua mumbled to himself.
" Killua! Tag Tag!, It's my turn." Gon said as he clapped Killua's hand.
' What will this kid try?, He appears to be a very honest boy.' Netero thought.
Gon stretched his body again and Akira looked at Netero who was looking at Gon. He then walked closer to Gon and whispered something to him.
" Okay!." Gon then dashed towards Netero.
' Oh... He has quick feet. but he'd need another 10 years before attacking me head-on, I guess he is just a child' Netero thought looking at Gon but suddenly Gon disappeared from his front.
" Huh? from above." Netero blurted as he looked up but it was too late.
Gon touched the ball but because he was too fast he couldn't hold it properly and dropped the ball. The ball dropped near him so he just needed to get it before Netero.
" Nice! Get it Gon!." Killua shouted getting up after Gon touched the ball.
Akira smiled looking that his advice worked. ' Kukuku!, Checkmate!.'
Gon then positioned his body on the wall stopping himself from crashing into it before jumping wanting to make his dash much faster this time to get the ball.
Netero looks stunned for a second after seeing the ball disappear from his head and looks at the ball that is almost in Gon's hands now.
At that moment Akira stared intensely at Netero looking forward to what would he do. Then Netero disappeared before appearing in the corner with the ball in his hand.
Akira's eyes widened. " That's Impossible!." He blurted out because of surprise.
Killua also looked shocked seeing that his eyes couldn't catch up to Netero. ' He looks fast as Gramps.'
Gon looks dumbfounded not seeing the ball in his hand. He was sure that he already grabbed the ball.
" Hoho~ that was close. I let my guard off." Netero said as he laughed seeing the face of the three.
' He used Nen right, that sly old geezer but I anticipated it.' Akira thought as he looked at Netero's laughing face. He smiled as he felt something from Netero's feet before he disappeared.
Akira then looked toward his body but still did not see anything. ' Since I felt something it look like I'm close to it.'
The reason why Akira whispered to Gon is to make him control his jump. Gon looked innocent and harmless because of it Netero lowered his guard and he got the perfect chance. Akira wanted to make Netero use Nen and make a reference for him.
Akira then looks at Gon and Netero. Gon looks like he won't touch out anytime soon. He sat down near Killua before closing his eyes.
' I can still remember the feeling I got from that moment. If I enter a meditation state right now, I get a feeling I will open my aura nodes.' Akira thought as he crossed-legged.
He smiled unknowingly seeing that he has now closer chance of unlocking his aura.

Hi, Sooyoung Here!
First, Akira is sensitive to Nen after experiencing death. I wanted to make Akira talented enough to copy someone's moves or nen technique with barely enough effort. This idea comes to my mind after reading Hisoka's Origin Story.
I won't make him Monster like him but like what Genius Level only. Of course, he wasn't perfect, I had a lot of flaws in mind for him. Oh, He won't open his aura nodes any time soon.
