Chapter 194: Chapter 192.

"Don't you all have masks? Use them if you can't bear it anymore." Wang Feng suggested, casting a glance at the people behind them.

The Shrek Seven Devils suddenly remembered their masks, which they wore during battles in the Great Fighting Soul Arena. If they wore their masks now, it might alleviate their discomfort and embarrassment.

Several teachers with Flender also distanced themselves from the team, wearing expressions that suggested they were not associated with the situation.

Wang Feng also observed the other teams with interest. Despite the bizarre costumes of Shrek Academy, many other teams looked strikingly handsome and elegant, adorned with various ornate decorations that dazzled the eye. As they entered the arena, he waved to those around him, feeling like a hero returning from a grand adventure.

As everyone entered the rest area, their spirits were lifted slightly. The area was filled with teams from various academies, each occupying a section with thousands of seats.

Despite some initial complaints about their attire, the atmosphere improved as they settled in. However, a discordant voice disrupted the peace.

"Isn't this the 'trash' Shrek Academy team? What a joke, elite soul trash? And what are those green clothes... such garbage!"

The mocking voice elicited frowns from everyone, prompting them to turn and look. To their surprise, it was the students from Blue Sunshine Academy they had encountered in the Star Dou Great Forest.

Wang Feng couldn't resist a sneer at the students' remarks. They were adorned in red robes with silver accents, exuding an air of elegance and nobility. It was clear their soul master robes didn't come cheap.

Laughter erupted from the students at Blue Sunshine Academy, mocking the Shrek team's expense.

Suddenly, Wang Feng whispered something to Ma Hongjun. Ma Hongjun's eyes lit up, and he quickly pinched his nostrils a few times with his little finger before discreetly flicking the extracted items toward the open mouths of several students from Blue Sunshine Academy.

Shoo!

"Ack!"

The mouths of the Blue Sunshine Academy students were still open from laughter, leaving them vulnerable to the unexpected attack. The laughter ceased abruptly as they turned red-faced, some even retching and reaching for nearby chairs for support.

"Hey, we're wearing these green clothes too," Ma Hongjun pointed out with a laugh, gesturing towards a few students. "Looks like you guys have a taste for it..."

Tang San was momentarily surprised, finding the situation both amusing and frustrating. Seeing Wang Feng standing beside Ma Hongjun, he realized it was likely Wang Feng's mischievous idea.

"In general, dogs eat what they like..." Wang Feng remarked, casting a curious glance at the students. "Surprising that you could pretend to be human and mingle with us. But looks like you're tempted, it seems you can't escape your true nature, can you?"

The students remained silent, one of them attempting to retort but finding himself overcome with nausea.

"Come on, let your leader take you away!" Dai Mubai stepped forward, waving his hand. "We've even treated you to a free meal, isn't that enough?"

Tang San shook his head without speaking.

"Wang Feng, you're such a troublemaker! Why did you come up with such a disgusting prank?" Ning Rongrong blushed as she scolded him.

"Hehe, Brother Feng... you can blame Hong Jun for using such tactics Rongrong?" Xiao Wu giggled behind her hand.

Zhu Zhuqing also shot Wang Feng a glance, though her expression remained unreadable.

Wang Feng smiled but remained silent. At that moment, a stern voice emanated from behind the Blue Sunshine Academy group.

"What are you doing? The match is about to begin! Hurry back and prepare!"

An elderly man with a slightly grim expression approached, directing his gaze at the students from Blue Sunshine Academy.

"Teacher, we..." the students began to explain, but the old man silenced them with a glare.

Without a word, the old man selected a few students from Blue Sunshine Academy and swiftly departed. As he passed by Wang Feng, he paused, his brow furrowing as he glanced at him.

"Is that the dogs master?" Ma Hongjun quipped. "Seems pretty obedient."

Dean Flander frowned and cautioned, "Fatty, show some respect. This old man is a formidable soul master."

"Teacher, do you know him? From his attire, he seems to be a teacher-level figure," Tang San inquired with curiosity.

Flender nodded slowly. "I crossed paths with him in my youth. His martial soul is very unique, capable of creating various illusory environments to confuse enemies. He's extremely cunning and dangerous. You all should be cautious. When I encountered him, he was over sixty levels at that time, but he's likely surpassed seventy now..."

Upon hearing this, everyone fell silent. Only Wang Feng, using the perceptual ability of his skull soul bone, sensed that the old man was precisely at level 74.

This old man was sharp, even if it was just a momentary glance, he caught sight of Wang Feng.

"Well, you all should prepare yourselves quickly. We'll be on stage soon." Flender announced before leaving the rest area.

The group exchanged glances, feeling a mix of anticipation and nerves. They were all set, but unfortunately, while many teams ahead had staff members greeting them, only one reluctant staff member was sent to meet them. It was evident that these staff members weren't too keen on welcoming them.

Except for Wang Feng, who remained composed, the rest of the group was filled with determination. Yet, as they stepped into the venue, their spirits lifted.

Wang Feng squinted slightly as they approached the massive Fighting Soul Arena, surrounded by crowds resembling a moat around a castle. The arena stretched for hundreds of meters, with the main seats in the front and the VIP area at the back.

As they entered, the announcer was introducing several teams ahead of them. "Now, let's welcome the Purple Star Academy team. Known for their simple style, Purple Star Academy has achieved three wins in previous qualifiers. However, this year, there's talk of a mysterious student..."

"Their slogan is also quite interesting, called 'One man alone is enough.' Let's see!" The announcer's introduction captured the attention of everyone in the square, including the Shrek Seven Devils, who watched intently as the team took the stage.

"Brother, he looks like you!" Xiao Wu exclaimed in surprise.

Tang San's expression darkened as he observed the team on stage. There were only seven members, six of whom had stiff and expressionless faces, resembling robots. In one corner stood a man clad in black robes and a white mask, radiating calmness.

"Jiu Yikai!" Tang San breathed deeply, a surge of emotions flooding his heart. However, his thoughts quickly turned to confusion. "How is this possible? How could Jiu Yikai be here? This is a youth soul master contest. Isn't he a friend of the Grandmaster?"

Tang San felt utterly perplexed. According to his own understanding, Jiu Yikai was a Sixth Ring Soul Emperor, making it impossible for him to participate in this contest.

"Aren't you familiar with Jiu Yikai?" Xiao Wu whispered, her gaze fixed on the crowd.

"Damn, why is it him? I still remember his battle in the Silves City Great Fighting Soul Arena a year ago," Ma Hongjun exclaimed, agitated. "I thought he was at least thirty years old? Could it be that he's also under twenty-five?"

"What are you guys talking about? Isn't Purple Star Academy considered weak?" Tai Long interjected from behind, observing the peculiar expressions on the faces of the Shrek Seven Devils with confusion.

Tai Long was fairly acquainted with Purple Star Academy. In Heaven Dou City, numerous high-level soul master academies existed, and Purple Star Academy was considered relatively weak among them. Despite their lack of renown in costumes and academy reputation, Tai Long knew the strength of the seven monsters from Shrek. He unabashedly stated that even top-tier teams might struggle to come close to them in the strength department.

But why did they seem so shocked now?

"You haven't seen..." Oscar whispered. "This Jiu Yikai isn't to be underestimated... he's incredibly strong. We thought he must be quite old, but we didn't expect him to participate in the competition. And did you hear the slogan just now? 'One man also is enough'"

"I heard it. Very arrogant and ridiculous slogan," Tai Long shook his head.

As Tai Long glanced at other teams and spectators, he noticed sneers on most faces, with students muttering disdainfully.

"But a year ago... he single-handedly defeated a team of seven forty-nine level opponents, alone. His previous team in the Great Fighting Soul Arena was known as the Avengers, nicknamed the 'one-man team,'" Dai Mubai's tone was grave.

This solemnity even made him momentarily forget the indignation of being treated differently.

"..." Tai Long was left stunned after hearing this.
