"It seems like your brother was too scared," Marco leaned on the railing, unable to contain his laughter at Luffy's predicament.
"It's father after all!" Ace grinned, casually waving his hand. "Also, it would be good for Luffy to see how strong people in the New World really are."
Ace understood his brother's reckless nature all too well. Luffy's actions were driven purely by emotion, without any regard for consequences. In the first half of the Grand Line, such impulsiveness might not have severe consequences, but things change when entering the New World.

In other words, the day the Roger Pirates disbanded marked the end of Rayleigh's journey. Naturally, he wouldn't pressure his old friend into making a decision.
Finally, under Rayleigh's watchful eye, the Whitebeard Pirates Fleet departed from Sabaody Archipelago. This time, their purpose was singular - Fishman Island! They prepared to make their way back to the New World through Fishman Island.
However, the ship was only halfway there when Marco, receiving a call from Jinbei, hastily grabbed the Den-Den Mushi and hurried over.
"Father, Jinbei has sent a message. Big Mom has dispatched one of her three Sweet Commanders, Charlotte Katakuri, to take control of Fishman Island!"
Marco relayed the story once again.
"What?"
Initially shocked by the news, everyone quickly felt anger resurfacing.
"Big Mom Pirates dared to attack Fishman Island!"
"Doesn't she realize that Fishman Island is Father's territory? And His Majesty Neptune is also Father's friend!"
"It's unforgivable to harm Jinbei like this!"
The commanders and captains were filled with righteous anger.
"Guurarara~"
"When did Linlin have the courage to attack me?"
Whitebeard's movements paused, and he set down the jar that was almost at his mouth. His tone became extremely solemn.
"Father, should we retaliate?"
Marco couldn't help but ask.
"Full speed ahead! Let's see what that little guy from the Linlin family dares to do on Fishman Island!"
Whitebeard waved his hand in a commanding gesture.
"Yes!"
All the captains responded quickly. After the Summit War of Marineford, all the commanders and captains firmly believed that the Whitebeard Pirates had surpassed the other three emperors. Now, the Big Mom Pirates dared to stir up trouble. They were not going to let it go!
