Mu Ningxue's father, Mu Xhuoyun approaches Mo Fan and said "Son, your talent woth fire is exceptional. Do you want to join in our Mu Family Branch Manor? I'll grant you a greater resources, how about it?"
Mo Fan thought about it carefully, in the original where Mo family have conflict to Mu Family is because of Mu Ningxue, but Bai Yuliang change it and unknowingly, the plot started to deviate to a mystery path.
"then I'll thank Mr. Mu" Mo Fan decided to accept it.
Mu He on the side whispered something to Mu Zhuoyun.
"He was the son of the driver of our Mu Family Branch and a childhood friend of Mu Bai"
Mu Zhuoyun nodded, it's seems that driver needs to retire and make Mo Fan be grateful to him.
"Mu Bai, come here!" Mu Zhuoyun called.
Mu Bai came over, and stare at Mo Fan and respecfully called the two adults.
"Hello Father, Hello uncle."
"You have a two rival now, I wish you two would become stronger and made the Mu Family proud." Mu Zhuoyun said encouragingly.
The two looked at each other, fighting intent can be said in ther eyes but in the end it turned into relief and said in unison.
"We will!"
Mu Zhuoyun looked at the two satisfy and glanced at Mu Ningxue who's staring at their side. This daughter of his, is what he is truly looking forward to become stronger but her talent and magic is dissapointing so he gradually let her do what she want.
Mu Ningxue can't become the ladder that would put his status higher in Mu Family so he need to think another plan.
It was useless to marry off her daughter because in this world, talent and bloodline what matter the most to those higher-ups people. No matter how beautiful a woman is, it will rot but a talent is the treasure that can be passed on descendants.
Mu Zhuoyun can used Mu Ningxue to become slut but Mu Zhuoyun is also a higher rank mage and have pride. Selling her daughter like that is a shame so he won't do that and naturally give up on her.
Mu Ningxue looked the seemingly harmonious on the stage, she's grownly numb to that but it still breaks her heart. There's many times she liked to show her ice magic but she knows what consequences it will lead just like Bai Yuliang's protagonist in the story where there's so many thorn. She is not protagonist and she will not risked it because she cares more if it will affect to Bai Yuliang than her.
Her mind was brought back when she felt her shoulder has been tap. She turned and see Bai Yuliang's face near her and his hot breath gaze into her skin which made her itchy.
"Mu Ningxue let's celebrate in my house, I will treat you unli chicken wings and french fries!"
Bai Yuliang noticed Mu Ningxue looked lonely and ashen so he will make her happy by letting her eat her favorites in his house after all, he was just a childhood friends of her, he can only cheer her up by doing this.
Mu Ningxue looked at the boy she loved cheering her up in simple but heartwarming way, she knew that he was there for her but she didn't know if it will last longer. She can be considered a one in a thousand years genius but he's one in a million years genius and his mysterious background.
She feared that one day he would go back home and will never see him again. In this timeline Mu Ningxue began feeling inferior, and can't see her true worth.
"Add unli barbeque and I'll considered it"

A new class started and all talented individuals who reached A above ratings became classmates. A cute girl named He Yu who take assessments first was excited.
She was just a nobody, her family is not rich and she's not that smart but she's extremely happy that she's a talented mage and would raise her family from poverty.
Zhang Xiaohu, Mo Fan's buddy, looked at the cute girl and he feels that he was inlove. He can't help but boast in front of her.

Mr Xue, the teacher carrying a case carefully like it was some sort of treasure.
"Be quite, The school decided to let you experience this stardust magic equipment. Stardust magic equipment is something that every budding magician wished to obtain.
Stardust magic equipment is very expensive and our class only have three of them so please take care of it carefully. I will be distributing these, We'll start with the student who score highest in recent assessment. Mo Fan come here!"
Normal students was excited but not for those who comes from a rich family like Mu Bai or students who get scholarships like Mo Fan, of course there's also an exception of Mu Ningxue and Bai Yuliang, who's already intermediate magician.

The class was going to xuefeng mountain military post for two months in their practical training.
The student was excited and nervous after all theres would be a monster there and this is the first time they would fight a monster.
After reaching to their destination, the student was amaze how spectacular the mountain was and looking at the beautiful forest, the students can't imagine that there would be a monster living there.
As the noises becoming louder, a shout silence the noise as the students shout as they feel the heat of air. "Fire Strike!"
"Kyaaa!"
"Woah! what was that?"
"Is there a monster!"
A man appear infront of the class, he has a long hair and wearing a military clothes.
"My name is Zhang Kong! I will be your lead instructor for this particular military exercise!"
