Chapter 17: VOW OF VENGEANCE
The atmosphere at Ken's company wasn't very good.
When Arianna ran out with tears in her eyes, he wanted to hold her back and tell her he still loved her despite her deception and betrayal. But his pride stopped him, She was the one who wronged him why should he take her back. He suddenly remembered the suit he wore which Arianna had embraced, he ran after his assistant and caught the suit just as it was about to land in the trash. He took the suit and handkerchief leaving his PA stunned.
Leo was really dumfounded, who was that lady that could bring out emotion in this block of ice he called a boss?
He could hear the employees murmuring and one bold voice says, ' I wonder who's the wh*re that was trying to entice our boss. She looks so low class and cheap only a blind person would glance in her direction. ' The employee says mockingly.
Unfortunately, Ken was just at the entrance and heard everything. ' Who said that?' He asked intimidatingly.
There was silence.
' It seems like you all are tired of working.' Ken says in a warning tone. All eyes shift to the brunette in the middle.
' I... It was me' The lady manages to mutter the words.
' You have a very profane tongue. You should work in a wh*rehouse and not here. Leave immediately.' Ken says as he walks away.

' Me? I am fine. I just went to the bar to have some fun and I met this pretty guy so I told him we should go to my house. So I would love to have some time alone with me, myself and I.' Arianna says.
Ashley stares sharply at Fred, ' Wait here! Butler Tom, give Mr Josh transport fare and have someone follow him. Raymond wait here for a while. Riona and Arianna come with me immediately.' Ashley says with a tone that exuded an aura of dominance.
Riona helps Arianna walk till they get to Ashley's room.

' Sit carefully Sasha.' Lucian says tenderly to Sasha.
Right now they were at the Andersons, Mr Anderson had called them to discuss something with them. Lucian knew very well that he had already found out about Sasha's pregnancy. Lucian would pretend to care about Sasha despite her dad not being aware. This would create the perfect image in Mr Anderson's mind.
' You are taking extreme care of Sasha. Any special reason?' Mr Anderson ask.
' What can I say? Sasha gives me a new reason to love her everyday.
Mr Anderson was pleased that Lucian loved his daughter and was taking responsibility for his actions without bothering to flaunt it.
' Sasha, why did you visit a gynecologist?' Mr Anderson asked casually.
Sasha and Lucian pretends to be shocked.
' I.. I.' Sasha stuttered giving off the impression that she was about to lie.
' Sasha are you pregnant?' Mr Anderson says raising his voice.
Sasha became nervous, she didn't expect her father to get so angry.
Lucian thought deeply. It was possible that Mr Anderson was testing his reaction but what if he wasn't. Lucian decided to maintain his image as the ideal boyfriend and future son in law.
' Please don't shout at Sasha. Whatever punishment you have I will bear it solely, I love Sasha and the proof of our love is coming into this world soon. I'm ready to take responsibility.' Lucian says looking meek.
Mr Anderson smiles and says ' It's good to see that you truly love Sasha but my reputation is at stake, so you and Sasha must get married in two months.'
Sasha smiles happily. ' Thank you dad, I love you!' She says.
Lucian began some calculations in his head. He could find a way to get Sasha's 40% of the Andersons wealth to himself in that period. He could leave Sasha after that.

Immediately the door closed, Riona and Ashley turn to Arianna. Arianna starts laughing.
' Arianna what happened.' Riona ask worriedly.
Whenever Arianna said she wanted to have an alone time with me, myself and I, she meant she wanted to speak with Riona and Ashley alone.
' You were right Ashley.' Arianna replies smiling bitterly.
' What was I right about?' Ashley asks.
' Ken has changed. He said that there was never anything special between us. I am and was an immoral girl who kept trying to throw herself on him. He says I am not worthy of him and he said this publicly as well. When I touched him, he took of his suit and hanky and got someone to throw them away. He even called security on me. I never felt so humiliated in my entire life.' Arianna says still wearing her bitter smile.
' That piece of trash! How dare he? I will arrange for some people to teach him a lesson.' Ashley says angrily.
' Ashley don't!' Arianna says.
' Are you kidding me Arianna? You still care for him, you need to get over it! He's not worth!' Riona says.
' Get over it? I can't do that.' Arianna replies.
' Arianna don't let me slap sense into you. Why can't you get over him?' Ashley says.
' Calm down you two. Who says I still have feelings for him? If you hire someone to beat him up, he will feel the pain for a few days or weeks and then it's all forgotten. I will make him think all is forgotten and then I will crush his pride and make him beg me. I will not let him be happy till I make him feel the amount of pain I feel now. He will beg for forgiveness and leniency but that will just be the beginning.' Arianna says.
Riona shivered. The last time when Arianna made a declaration like this.... Riona remembered "THE INCIDENT" very clearly. Now she felt pity for Ken, Arianna has taken a vengeance vow.
Ashley smiles contently. This proved that after all was a Havana. Nobody messed with a Havana and left unscathed, Ken's fate would be worse than that of "THE INCIDENT".
