Chapter 39: Monsters
As the environment was foggy, I tried to look at them closely. Somehow, my eyes started to adopt this foggy atmosphere.
I can now clearly see those beasts.
I am surrounded by those monsters. I have to think about how I should fight against these monsters. Firstly, I should target long ranged monsters. They can be troublesome sometimes. I don't want to get attacked by some monsters while I am fighting against those bastards.
"Fireball."
"Gyaaa."
I used a fireball on a goblin that was holding a bow. It hit him and groaned in pain.
"Grrrr."
Seeing their beloved companion groaning, they started to become more violent.
One goblin with a stone axe on this hand jumped at me. I dodged it and before I could attack it, I realised that a wolf also jumped at me from behind.
So, I tried to dodge it too.
"Giggggiiii." A goblin with five knives on its hand throws a knife at me. I used my katana to dodge it and while dodging, I used a fireball at another goblin with a bow on its hand.
"Gyaaaaaaa."
My attack hit on its face and it started groaning.
*Boom
A fireball hit my back. My clothes started burning.
"Holy shit, which one of these shit is using fireball?" I muttered, as I have already taken care of two bow users.
There might be some magic users among those goblins.
A goblin with a sword jumped at me and I tried to dodge it. My back still hurts as I caught up in an attack.
*Boom *Boom
Two fireballs hit me. With this, the dress got totally burned out. It hurts like crazy.
"Grrrrrrrrrr."
I noticed one thing this time. These wolves can use magic. I might be in trouble.
"Grrrrrrrrrr."
One of the wolves jumped at me. I used my katana and it pierced through his neck.
"Kukiiiiiiiiii."
The goblin with the axe jumped at me.
*Kick
I caught its axe and kicked it.
*Doom
It gets hit on a rock and starts groaning.
"Gyaaaaa."
I used the axe I got from that goblin and that goblin. I threw it toward a wolf. But it dodged my attack and jumped at me.
I dodged it and before I knew it the goblin with sword was about to pierce my neck. But I was fortunate as I was caught up in a small rock and was able to dodge it.
After falling into the ground, I used a fireball toward a wolf. But it dodged my attack. But fortunately, it hit one of the goblins.
The goblin with a sword aimed at my stomach. But I was able to dodge it and used a fireball on its face.
"Gyaaaaaa.... Gyaaaaaa." It started groaning.
*Pierce
I tried to stand up. One knife pierced through my back. Blood started coming.
I grabbed my katana and used Dark Slash toward the goblin with a knife. A tremendous dark attack went through the goblins body and it even cut the nearby tree into half.
The goblin wasn't able to dodge such a powerful attack and it was cut into half.
*Fireball
A wolf used a fireball at me. But I dodged and used a fireball toward it. But it was fast, so it was able to dodge.
*Slash
I knew that the wolf would be able to dodge my fireball. So, I ran on the right side of the wolf. When it dodged my attack it was totally in front of me. So, I slashed that wolf into half.
The whole blood splashed at my face.
But I was able to protect my eyes.
"Grrrrrrrr."
"Grrrrrrrrr."
"Grrrrrrrr."
"Kukiiiiiiii"
"Kukiii"
Three more wolves and two goblins left.
*Fireball *Fireball *Fireball
I used three fireball toward three wolf. But they were able to dodge my attack.
*Fireball *Fireball *Fireball
All three of these wolves used fireball at the same time. To dodge that, I jumped higher I could. I was able to dodge these attacks by jumping high.
*Gust
*Smash
When I was above the ground, a monster used a strong gust. As I was above the ground, I caught up in the attack and before I knew it, my body hit a big stone.
I spit bloods.
"It hurt like crazy."
I am pretty much sure that it wasn't an attack from those five beasts. I am pretty much sure it was an higher rank attack. I guess the real leader was hiding behind the trees.
"Grrrrrrr."
"Grrrrrrr."
"Grrrrrrrr."
"Kukiiiiiiii"
I tried to stand up as I was already too weak to stand up. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by three wolves and one goblin.
"Looks like I can finish this with one attack." Saying that, I smiled.
All of these monsters jumped at me.
I used Dark Slash toward them and all of them were cut into half.
I think only two monsters left. One of them is a goblin with a shield and another one is the leader. I haven't seen the boss yet.
I should be cautious as I know that the leader is a wind mage.
I used fireball at the goblin. But it dodged with its shield. While it was dodging, I began to ran toward it.
*Shoosh
Before I could attack it with my katana, a strong wind attack was aimed at me. I dodged the attack. But a strong fire attack was aimed at me. I was caught off guard by sudden attack. I used Dark slash to dodge that attack.
I saw a goblin was wearing a magician cloth and it was a bit bigger than any normal goblin. It was standing above the cliff and used fire attack at me.
"Growl."
A wolf which was a bit bigger than the wolves that I killed few seconds ago was coming out of the fog.
Looks like there was two leader in this team. Well, there was two types of monsters. So, it might be natural that there will be two leader. Looks like I have to handle two leader at the same time.
I smiled and said," It's getting interesting."
