Chapter 18: The prey to Hunt and the start of the Journey

Shanks Pov:  I shook my head at my petty teacher's antics as I sighed and contemplated my life choices ,especially choice in choosing him as my teacher.  Before I remembered that this same petty man helped me level up to the point I sometimes doubted that I wasn't dreaming with the level of strength I currently possessed . Not to mention it will continue to grow as I don't plan on just being complacent with my current level of strength. I will not put that infinite potential offered by the " Essence of the Blank" to waste. That would simply be a crime punishable by watching the most cursed anime and memes. As I  thought about some of the most unholy works of art posted on the internet in my previous life, I heard the back door open again. Shakky strolled in pulling a large cart filled with the wine I requested. I nodded in satisfaction as she seemed to have them in a neat fashion. She in turn took a big puff of her cigarette before exhaling. She then asked in an inquiring tone ," So what's next Shanks? What are you gonna do now that you have all that power?"  I hummed in contemplation as both wife and husband directed curious gazes at me. I then answered after a moment," Two things. Now that I have the power, I'll explore the world at my own pace. Maybe form a crew as I can't imagine by myself for the whole journey. It would eventually get boring and lonely." Both couples showed smiles at my answer. Then Shakky questioned once more,'' What's the second one?''. I took a moment to formulate my words before I summarized it all in one sentence , " Now, I'll hunt." Both showed confused expressions for a moment before the manic grin on my face tipped them on intentions.  Shakky shook her head to express her exasperation before sighing while Rayleigh showed a smile. And then I said ," But before that, know any strong people I can hunt. A hunter has to know his prey, you know."  She took on a contemplating expression before she sighed in what seemed like resignation. She then said," If what Rayleigh said about your power then I believe these people will be worthy prey to hunt. The first one is Bjorn the plunderer. From his title alone you can infer his personality. He's worth a lot,1.5 billion to be exact. He's also rumored to have eaten a bear zone,although it has not been confirmed which model or if its a normal zone. He's from the New world and also operates in it  so he definitely knows the basics of haki at least. He's also rumored to be a half giant due to his abnormal height and strength even before he ate his devil fruit. He operates mostly on Boonmecks island, where he runs an auction that sells anything from weapons to even slaves. While his crew isn't that strong,he is. The next worthy prey is Jaegeren of the Night. He's a strong mink pirate who's confirmed to have eaten a tiger zone,although I don't know which model it is. He's worth 1.7 billion berries and since he's from the new world,he definitely knows haki and might be proficient in a particular one. The last place he was spotted was Rezden island which he frequently visits for some reason. The next worthy thing I can think of is strong and has been around for awhile. He'll also definitely give you a good fight. His name is Fulgur, the world knows him as "Fulgur the Giant". He's a half giant who ate the rumble rumble fruit a long time ago and he's also known for his spearmanship. He's a skilled haki user and has a lot of combat experience. He's worth 2.9 billion which is an apt bounty for him in my opinion. The last time he was spotted was when he arrived on Raijin island a week ago. The other prey that will definitely give you a good fight and I can guarantee this, is Onibi the giant. He's also known as "The flaming giant" due to his height and his control over fire through his devil fruit,the flare flare fruit. He's a skilled and experienced devil fruit and haki user. His mastery of the two normal forms of haki is exceptional. Although not confirmed, he's  definitely unlocked their  advanced forms. He's worth 3.5 billion berries. A fun fact about him,he's from Wano and a skilled swordsman. He's also fought and killed the previous user of the wind logia. Their battle attracted a lot of attention which led to many pirates watching it. He was last spotted landing on Kazen island .The last pirate I can confidently bet on to definitely give you a challenge is Tyrannus Iratus. He ate unknown devil fruit and he's also a half giant who's very skilled at haki. He's worth 3.9 billion ,although if it was up to me ,a bounty of 4.2 billion would be on his head. He's very strong and violent  as he's known to wipe out most fleets that ever encounter him. People have rarely seen him as he's very private. The last place he was spotted was an island close to Hachinose. What he's doing there  I couldn't for the life of me tell you. Anyway,those are the ones I can say will be good prey if Rayleigh's words are to be believed."  I sat there in silence going over the information and organizing it in a certain order. I then looked Shakky as I had an important question.  I asked ," Do they all have pirate crews?, the last three  i mean." She nodded her head to that inquiry and silence fell on the bar once again. I mulled over my options before I said ,'' i'have decided, I know who hunt to hunt for first." I turned to Shakky who seemed curious about who I chose first.  I bowed my head as a thank you gesture and walked to the door. I took my crate of wine that I ordered from Shakky as I walked towards the door. Before I opened it, I said, " If you're curious about who I'm hunting first,don't be. You'll find out in the news anyway. And sensei, thanks for guiding me for these past six months. You probably have no idea how much of a help you were and for that i thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I'll make sure not to die as a way to show you that you taught me right and helped me become strong. So just watch the storm I conjure up with my Rayleigh sensei." With those last words, I walked out the bar and took my first steps towards the hunt and adventure.
