The first thing I want to say, is don't too expect frequent updates. I do this for fun, and I don't have infinite free time. If anyone actually reads this and like my story somehow, then simply commenting about things you like or dislike will give me more motivation. I want to please the readers, so if there's something you don't like, just let me know and I'll most likely read read your comment. I'm not as insane as the other authors that can pump out 2 quality chapters a day... When I sit down to write, I get carried away, so I do longer chapters with less frequent updates. I'm sure you have better books to look forward to anyway
The second thing I want to say, is that this is my first book on this site. I am fairly confident in my writing abilities, but I can't compare to someone like Einlion. If you find any plot holes, or something that doesn't make sense, just tell me and I'll fix it, as opposed to hurling slurs and insults about my incompetence. Again, this is a first for me, so I won't be perfect.
The third thing I want to say, is that I have big plans for every book I write. Most books I write will feature characters of ridiculous power levels during the later chapters. I plan on making hundreds of chapters for each book, and I love adding new abilities and ideas all the time, so eventually, the characters will start to blow out of proportion in terms of power. If you think the story is starting to blow out of proportion or it's dragging on too long, just let me know so I can do something about it rather than drop the book.
Fourth. This is really important. I am not afraid to kill off characters. Obviously, I won't do it too often, but you won't see any shounen bullshit where the mc meets the final boss and doesn't leave with any losses (*stares intensely at demon slayer*). I hate poorly placed plot armor, and when you meet a character, keep in mind they might get killed. You can also keep in mind that as the story advances more, it's completely possible to encounter resurrection magic so those characters might not be gone for good. You can also expect heartbreak, because while I do love happily ever after, no happiness comes without pain.
Now fifth. I hate NTR. There won't be anything close to NTR. If a character isn't a love interest, I will make it very obvious they aren't so. I also hate shitty endings. I highly doubt I'll ever make a story where one of the love interests, or the main character themselves, dies in the end. Unless I go into depression or something. No need to worry about any Your Lie In Aprils or Clannads. I also hate it when two characters obviously love each other but don't end up together, so you're safe from the Scum's Wishes too.
Sixth and final, I listen to your ideas. I don't have everything planned out when I start a book, so if you put your ideas in the comments, I'll most likely listen to them. I do this because it's fun to write, but it's not fun if there's no one to read it. It's even more fun when I know people are enjoying it. So if there's something you dislike about the story, put it in the comments and I'll see what I can do about it.
Book info:
For this story, I wanted a main character that is calm and pretends to be selfish, but actually cares for everyone around him. He makes logical decisions most of the times, but he'll falter when it comes to sacrificing his companions in any way. He's also not a Natsu like character that would do anything for his friends and wins with the power of friendship, but he'll prioritize them over the masses and himself. He is also very well-prepared. It might feel like plot armor sometimes, but plot armor is only bad when it's placed poorly. I will put sections in the book that obviously implies him preparing for anything and everything.
There will be a lot of information about the inner workings of a lot of things, and I will try not to make explaining it feel like an info dump and I'll try to balance it out over multiple chapters. I have a lot of ideas, and as much as I am excited to portray them as soon as possible, I know that's not what I should be doing. If it feels like I'm info dumping, just remind me, and I'll do my best to balance it out more.
One thing about this book, is I plan on grinding out a good 10-15 chapters and posting them at once, so I have time to write the next few. I'll post this now so I can get some people excited for the future of the series, but just know you'll be waiting a while.
