Chapter 17: 17. the Pocket Watch

"Dear Cellia, where have you been?. Dad has been looking for you for a long time," said my daddy who looked worried. He even immediately carried me when I arrived in the living room of this castle.
"It looks like the Young Lady and the crown prince have been playing in the backyard," said His Highness Yvone to my daddy.

"Duke Leonhart. If you want, please take the Young Lady to the party at the palace tonight... I have promised to give her something" said His Highness Yvone again.
Dad gave a serious look. He must really think about what I and His Highness Yvone have promised.
"When did they make an appointment? What item will they give Cellia?" But all these questions have no answers.
The only way to find out the answer is to let Cellia join tonight's party at the palace. Leonhart thought.

We left the castle and walked home in a horse-drawn carriage, but on the way, daddy suddenly asked the coachman to turn around. I was curious and just asked.
"Where are you going, Dad?" I asked my daddy because I saw him changing the trajectory of the road. He clearly had no intention of going home.
"Dad has to go to the store for a moment to order a gift"

"I'm looking for a gift for a party at the palace tonight..." said daddy.

"Dear Cellia, you surprised Daddy if you suddenly running like this. Do you want something?" Asked my daddy who followed wherever my little steps went.
I didn't answer dad's question because I was more busy with everything here.
"My lord. Here are some items that might be suitable as gifts for His Highness ..." While daddy was talking to the shop clerk, I saw something shiny and approached him.
As soon as I approached the object, I knew that it was a silver pocket watch with a beautiful dragon engraving, then my eyes were attracted again to the object beside it. It was a glass ball filled with crystal replicas in the shape of white lilies and silver butterflies that were as beautiful as snow crystals. Ukh, I want both. "Honey, why do you have a sad face like that?. Do you want something?. Dad will buy it for you. What do you want?" Asked my dad who again noticed the change in my facial expression.
I want that crystal ball and pocket watch dad, but... I can't explain it to dad!. Ugh!
"Young Lady, would you like this beautiful crystal ball?" Asked a waiter who seemed very used to child customers. He had also taken the crystal ball out of the cupboard and let me look at it closely.
"Dear Cellia, do you want this crystal ball?" Asked my daddy who thought I wanted this after the lady maid showed it.
I stared into this crystal ball. I really want this. But I also want that pocket watch for dad. I looked at this crystal ball alternately by looking at the pocket watch which was still in its place. And finally the shop clerk noticed my gaze looking at the pocket watch. She has sharp eyes!. The shop assistant took the pocket watch with a little hesitation and maybe she felt a little strange because a child like me wanted and was interested in something like that.

Without hesitation, I immediately took the watch and opened it. I stared at the pocket watch so happily that the lady clerk immediately noticed something else with her sharp eyes.

I don't know what to say. I can't explain to dad what I want. I also hope dad understands, but I don't think it's possible for dad to understand a child's simple complicated mind.
"Sir ..." the shop clerk seemed to whisper something to my daddy so that he was shocked.
"Is it really like that?" My daddy asked. He stared in disbelief.
"Yes. Many children the same age as Young Lady act like this, sir... it's very cute," said the shopkeeper.
"I see... it's really very cute," muttered daddy.
"My Dear Cellia, this is for you and is already yours. You can use it for whatever you want to buy," said my daddy who suddenly gave me several pieces of gold currency. My eyes lit up and my melancholy disappeared instantly.
"Cellia wants to buy this watch for daddy!" I said. I then ran towards the shop employee and gave me the money that father gave me earlier.
"Ah, okay Young Lady. Is the watch going to be wrapped?"

After putting the pocket watch in the box and wrapping it, I ran back to my daddy and gave him the watch I bought with my own money!. Is that right?. Dad said the money was already mine. So I bought this watch with my own money!.
"Daddy!. This is a gift for you!" I said happily. And of course my dad is happier than me.
"Really?. This is for dad?. Thank you, darling..." said my daddy. He also seemed annoyed by my behavior and touched by what I did even though the watch gift still used my dad's money... haah.
"Young Lady is very cute..." said the shop clerk.

"Cellia wants a crystal ball!" I said to dad.
And finally we bought three things from that shop. The first one to take to the party, the second a pocket watch for dad, and the last one is a crystal ball from dad to me!. While on the trip. I stared at the crystal ball that my daddy bought me, as did my daddy who continued to stare at the pocket watch I bought him.
He continued to stare at the pocket watch with a smile, but I finally noticed the gradual change in my dad's expression.
"Why do you look sad now?. Don't you like the watch, dad?" I think.
When I thought that, daddy put away his pocket watch and chose to hug me tightly.
