Chapter 10: CHAPTER TEN
Its been two days since Jason got to the human realm. He has already done the necessary things like getting an apartment, signing up for the school as a transfer student, and today he's going to the new school. He was putting on a black button down long sleeved shirt, a black ripped jean, and black sneakers, finishing it up with a black bag pack making him look so cool right now. He walked down to the school because it wasn't far, and it was a bright day, so why not enjoy it.........
He got to the school seeing that they have almost started. He walked into the office, did the necessary and then a teacher, who he thought was Mrs John, showed him to the class.........While going to the class, He caught a faint whiff of an amazing smell, it was getting stronger as they got closer. Rex was already pacing in his head as they went closer to the class...........
They finally got there, and she told him to wait in the door......
" Hello class, we have a new transfer student" She said as she turned to him, signaling him to come inside. He went inside the class trying his best to keep Rex under control as the scent became stronger.
" Uhm, hi everyone, its nice to meet y'all, and ahh my name is Jason, Jason Martel" He said calmly and that was when he saw a pair of purple eyes and immediately Rex shouted *MATE* in his head. Wait what?, seriously Rex, she's the one?, wow, I have a human mate.....but she doesn't really smell like a human, it is actually confusing, right? He asked Rex but Rex ignored him and continued shouting, MATE MATE MATE, Jason's head. He had to keep him quiet, as he went over to his seat...next to her, his wolf was practically trying to take over, it took a lot to keep him at bay........
" Hi" He said to the girl trying to start a conversation.
" Uhm hi?" She answered more like a question as she went back to her book. This is gonna be long long day, He thought as he focused on the teacher.........

The school bell shouted at everyone to go have lunch.
I wanted to go with my friends, but I have to show newbie here around the school......not to be rude but its annoying, I wanna be with my friends, I whined in my head.
"Uhm would you like to have a tour round the school"? I asked him.
" Uh yeah sure" Jason answered suppressing a growl. So they got up and out of the class, Selena showed him the Laboratory, the art class, acting class and so on. Then she went on to the sports center and all the necessary details of the school before finally getting to the school café, where she met her friends..........
" Hey guys, meet our newest transfer student, Jason Martel" I introduced him to the group.
" You're welcome bro, Diego said shaking his hand before Francis then Allison then Mila and lastly Danny.............
Jason was welcomed by every one before he said, " Thanks guys, for the warm welcoming, like she said, my name is Jason Martel, hope to have a nice friendship with y'all " After the introduction we sat down to eat our lunch but Jason was acting weird. He sat farthest from me making me feel sad for some reason. He was always shaking his head and cursing.......
" Shut up man" Jason shouted through clenched teeth before looking at all of us laughing awkwardly.
" Ahahahaha, sorry it....I....he.....I Uhm need to use the bathroom" He said clenching his hands which was weird, "what is wrong with him" I thought as I watched him leave for the bathroom.
" What is wrong with that dude"? Diego asked.
" I don't know but he is sure weird" Mila said.
" Yeah, I should probably go check on him, Mrs John put him in my care for the day" I said as I followed him. When I got to the bathroom, I heard him talking to himself..........
" Rex what is wrong with you, you'll blow our cover man" He said then paused before he continued.
" I know, but she doesn't smell like human, in fact her scent is confusing" He said again.
" Yes I know, she's still our mate, but should I tell her or not, she might not even be human.........Yeah especially her purple eyes" He said again and that's when I opened the door to see him looking at himself in the mirror, with his hands on the sink.
" Uhhh what are you doing Jason?" I asked him.
" N.....nothing, just looking at the mirror, Hahaha" He said laughing awkwardly.
" Nothing.....really....cause you were talking to yourself just now" I said suspiciously.
" No no no, I was...I am..... hey, have you ever seen a dancing fly?" He asked confusing me.
" What?" I asked.
" Exactly...now let's go back to our food before it gets too cold to eat" Jason said increasing my state of confusion..........

I was walking back home still thinking of what happened today. Jason was so weird, I'm sure he's hiding something... but its not actually my business.... as they say, curiosity kills the cat..........Forget that, I'm so excited cause next week I'm finally gonna be an adult, yeah you guessed right, I'm turning eighteen. I have already started making plans in my head....its gonna be a blast, I thought not noticing my glowing bracelet..........

BACK IN JASON'S APARTMENT
Jason was very happy that he had seen his mate. Even though she was human. But she doesn't smell like a human, I think there's more to her than what's on the surface, Jason thought as he went to take a shower...........
