"W....what happened?" I asked
" U....Uhhh Selena I need to tell you some thing or I might as well ask you something" Jason said
" W...wait h...how did I get here?" I asked rubbing her head
" D..do you remember anything?" Jason asked carefully
"N..no......wait I remember monsters attacking me an...and then a huge wolf which turned out to be y...you......Ja...Jason how could you" I asked
" I'm so sorry, you have no idea how much I wanted to tell you, please calm down let me explain, please I'm begging you Selly " Jason said
"...........Fine, talk" I said after much contemplation
" Thank you.....Okay where to start now....See I'm a wolf as you already know and uhm my I'm a hybrid, that is I was born by a witch and a wolf. My father is the alpha of our pack and my mum, the Luna which makes me next in line to rule over my pack and its people........I was supposed to be in alpha training but I wanted to explore the human realm before I get stuck with alpha duties and also to possibly find my mate.....you. The underworld has different territories and if I had stayed in alpha training, going through all the borders of the underworld, I wouldn't have found you........."
" What's the underworld????" I asked, interrupting Jason
" Oh, the underworld is a land filled with supernatural creatures with with unrealistic features. Humans thinks that we're myths but we are in fact living within you all" Jason answered.
" So you're saying t..that there are more creatures than you uhm wolves in the uhm underworld? " I asked starting to get intrigued, " oh this is so much better than a boring history class" I thought
" Y...yeah" Jason answered and relaxed upon seeing her excited face
" You mean like fairies and witches...wait is true that wolves serve a goddess called the moon goddess?" I asked totally forgetting the fact that my boyfriend is a wolf and upon remembering that, I suddenly felt so sad.....
" Jason? Do you think we can still be together? I asked...... " Wait I have a feeling the we've done this before" I said before he could say any thing else
" Y..yeah, and you almost killed me" Jason said in a whisper........" No no no, you must be having a déjà vu" Jason said
" No no no, I really feel like we've done this before..........forget it, I'm leaving" I said as I stood up from the bed to leave
" W..wait were are you going?" Jason asked
" I'm going home, mum and dad must be worried" Selena said
" O..okay, but please don't tell anyone and call me immediately you get home, okay" Jason said, walking closer to her to give her a kiss but Idodged it, backing away, making Jason confused
" W..what's wrong, you don't want me to kiss you, h...hope we're still good?" Jason said cautiously
" Don't you get it Jason, we can't be together anymore. Look, you're a wolf and I'm human and from my classes and studies, you guys don't die early while humans do..........if we continue this, it won't work cause I will die one day and you'd be alive while I rot in my casket, we're both different species and can't be together, why can't you understand this, and not to talk of the fact that you are royalty, will your people and your parents ever accept a " human" like me, I'm a nobody, a freakish human who has white hair, purple eyes and a birthmark shaped like a half moon for some reason, so its best if I leave and you go find a better person, maybe that uhm....what did you call it again....ahhh yes your mate and live a better life happily " I said as I turned to leave but Jason stopped me and said exasperatedly,
" NO NO I DON'T ACTUALLY. I DON'T GET WHY YOU WON'T TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT'S REALLY HAPPENING, YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONE FOR MOON GODDESS'S SAKE, YOU ARE MY MATE, MY SOULMATE, MY LIFE, I CAN'T LIVE THIS LIFE OR EVEN BE THE FREAKING ALPHA WITHOUT YOU. I NEED YOU, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, YOU ARE NOT A FREAK, YOU ARE THE RULER OF THE UNDERWORLD, THE CHOSEN ONE AND A GREAT FUTURE LUNA, YOU YIELD MORE POWERS THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE, SO PLEASE STOP THIS BEHAVIOR AND LETS THINK RATIONALLY, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!" Jason shouted as I looked at him, wide eyed...'wait did he just say chosen one? I know I heard chosen one and Luna and soulmate........wait does that mean that I.....'
" I'm sorry for yelling at you, I just lost it when you said that we couldn't continue this, can you just sit and let's finish talking, I know that you're very confused right now, its showing on your face, please give me a chance" Jason begged Selena again
" B...but....."
"Please, I could give you all the answers you want, you just need to ask" Jason interrupted as he tried to persuade me. ' I was giving in, I mean I do need some answers and he could be the only one that could answer me' I thought for a while before saying,
" Fine, but call my parents first, I wanna talk to them, and also promise each and every one of my questions?" I gave out conditions
" Y..yeah, I will and let's give your parents a call" Jason said as he brought out his phone to call mum..............
