Two forces were moving in the dark!
It was discovered that the Snow Prince would travel around to go to the sect in the Dark realm, the Cherry Blossom sect.
The two wanted him on their side; he held more power than he could guess, and they saw him as a piece of cake they had to devour, but it was too small.
Despite its sweetness, it couldn't satisfy both sides, but one, so the first to claim it would be the victor!
The weakest of the two organizations made the first move on him and planted a piece by his side, which didn't know it was a piece in the first place.

But why were they so confident she would give them what they wanted? Anyway, in their first move, they nearly brought doom for the strong organization, but the Prince was different from what they had thought; instead of bringing them doom, he just pulled the first organization to his side but in a concealed manner.
But he did not try to cut himself from the former organization or cut them off their pawn; he did not do that. He left them an advantage they could exploit...or so they thought.
He had his plans for the two.
As he joined a Dual cultivation sect to embrace beauty and indulge himself in the sin of Lust, the two organizations weren't sitting idle. Still, one seemed more desperate, and he ended up claiming their second piece, one that came from the deepest core of the organization!
