Chapter 99: Chapter-98
"Where do you think he is?" Toru asked out loud, who was with his other classmates outside the academy, all wearing their respective 'hero' costumes. The vehicle had just arrived, and they were only waiting for one of their classmates who was absent.
"I don't care," was the curt response from Bakugo who was crossing his arms impatiently, waiting for them to leave to take their stupid practical exam.
"Deku-kun, didn't you see it?" Ochaco took the floor this time, looking strangely at how one of his best friends seemed much more serious than normal. Seeing that he didn't answer only caused his concern to increase more. "Deku-kun?" He asked again, pulling the green-haired teenager out of sleep.
"Oh, I'm sorry... I was just distracted, that's all," Midoriya answered with a dull voice, missing several people. This was noticed by Aizawa, who had to make a mental note to find out what happened between the boy Midoriya and Uzumaki.
"Oh, here it comes!" Upon hearing Mina Ashido's scream, everyone turned around to actually see their classmate coming at a slow pace. As always, he was not wearing a suit like them. Now he was only wearing a black sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, gray pants, and white shoes. Finally, he carried his trusty short sword on his back.
"..." In silence, the shinobi only walked to get on the truck that would take them, somewhat uncomfortable because of the atmosphere. The other students of Class-A only entered the truck, with Aizawa entering last, who gave a signal for the driver to start.
"Something wrong?" Shiori had no problem sitting next to the shinobi, even seeing that he was apparently somewhat irritable, more than usual. She and Momo were the only ones who sat near him in the last seats of the bus. Apparently, everyone knew about the incident that occurred where he worked.
"It's nothing," was the simple response of the blonde who only crossed his hands to lean back in his seat and put on the hood of his sweatshirt.
"I heard some screams from you and someone else who had a female voice, coming from the roof. What could that mean?" Momo asked with annoyance this time, crossing her arms to look questionably at the Uzumaki, who only shrugged his shoulders.
"What two young men of the exposed sex do," Naruto responded without thinking, although the result was that both Shiori and Momo's minds were blown and not in a good way.
"Was that—or was it a joke—a?" Todoroki asked with concern that, without her noticing, she was releasing a cold breeze from her right side, causing some shivers to her companions who felt the temperature drop.
"Yeah."
"What happened to you?" Momo asked in surprise, seeing this attempt at a joke with suspicion. "This morning you arrived with an unpleasant expression, as if you wanted to beat anyone who crossed your path..."
At what he heard, Naruto just shrugged his shoulders again. "I guess I just needed to talk to someone and realize that... I was being an idiot." After he said that, the entire trip was silent as they headed to their destination, which didn't take long to arrive.
The minutes passed, and we see all the students face to face with their UA professors. "It's good to see you all..." among the 'pro-hero,' the director of the prestigious academy stepped forward. "As you know, this will be a crucial test for its development, although we used to do this test with robots, we have decided to make some last-minute changes," explained the strange animal being that shares similarities with a dog, bear, and mouse.
"Will we fight among ourselves?" Asui asked curiously, feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of having to fight each other again.

"For every two students, there will be a teacher with whom they will have to fight. Surely they will be wondering, what? Why? To answer that question, we have a surprise guest."
"Normal entrance!" falling from the sky, All Might landed in front of all the teenagers, who were excited to see the symbol of peace. The older blonde stood up and smiled brightly. "Hello, young people! I'm here to tell you why this change!" Giving a sigh, he stopped smiling to take on a more serious expression. "As you know, we have had constant attacks from various villains. It is inevitable that this will happen. That's why it came to this extreme. You must know what it is like to fight against people who will be as strong or even stronger than us, their teachers," the former One for All user spoke seriously, looking at each of the teenagers who were lost in their thoughts at what they had heard.
"Thank you for your words, All Might," thanked Nezu, who, with his paws behind his back, looked at the teenagers. "The encounters are arranged randomly." Smiling with joy, he took a moment to look at Naruto. "But I'm afraid that being an unequal number among you, one will have to fight individually."
"I am." Everyone turned to look at Naruto, arms crossed, who had an analytical look, observing the teachers. Since he would have to fight with one of them, maybe this would be interesting if he fought against All Might, but he doubted that would be possible, as they might destroy everything if they fought seriously.
"I was counting on your offer, Uzumaki," losing his smile, the UA director turned around to walk where the other 'pro-hero' were. "That's why I took the time to find an opponent who is... more at your disposal," saying that, he turned around to look again at the blonde teenager who only raised an eyebrow when he saw someone coming from the entrance door of the testing area.
All the students of Class-A, except for Uzumaki, saw in disbelief a large silhouette that belonged to the person who would face one of their classmates in a one-on-one combat. "I hope you are at least worth coming to this place... brat," the person revealed himself to be the second-best hero in the entire country, the hero who controlled fire at will, which took him to the top alone under the symbol of peace. This was Endeavor.
"I can say the same, old man," was Naruto's response. He had to smile with 'amusement' to see who he would have to fight. Everything was decided and clear. In just a few minutes, the students would face off against the 'pro-hero,' where the battle would happen between one of the strongest students at the academy against one of the strongest professional heroes. It was the prelude to a great battle.
