Chapter 30: Chapter 28: Water magic: Holy Foot of Love.
Old wood house...
Ben was lying in bed, looking at the rooftop with a beaming smile on his face, thinking about what happened earlier with Charlotte.
While she was laying her head on top of his bare chest and hugging him tightly, she was sleeping with a satisfied smile on her face.
Looking through the window, he saw an orange sky, which indicated that there were a few hours before nightfall.
He got out of bed carefully and placed Charlotte's head on one of the pillows.
He wore his clothes, which were scattered all around the ground.
While he was changing, Charlotte woke up from sleep, closed her eyes tightly, and started acting like she was still in deep sleep, except for the little peeking at Ben from time to time.
Chuckle...
"Charl, I am going for a hunt. Take some real rest. After I finish my hunt, we are going to the Orphanage and have dinner there."
Looking at the pretending Charlotte who peeks at him from time to time with a red face, Ben chuckled and teased her.
'Ah... he found out I was awake... what should I do... we did it... calm down, Charlotte... how can I calm down? He called me Charl sweetly... nothing is a dream; everything is real...'
There were numerous thoughts running wild in Charlotte's head while multiple children were giving different expressions.
After informing Charlotte, Ben went to the layers of rabbits and hunted around 15 of them. He started walking towards the wild boar's lair to continue his hunt.
When he arrived at the lair, he noticed there was a group of four hooded figures hunting a few boars.
"____"
'Who are they? They looked very suspicious wearing hoods to simply hunt a few boars.'
Ben analyzed the weird-looking people with narrowed eyes because the dress they were wearing to hunt a boar was strange, and their mana was very high, comparable to Sister Peggy.
'Even though they have this much mana, why are they not using their magic to hunt? It will make things easier, right? Suspicious, very suspicious.'
Looking at how they were trying to kill the boar without using mana, Ben observed another one approaching with greater mana than those four.
An old man with long, worn, and short hair walked towards them with a strong expression.
The old man looked the age of 60 to 65 with a few strands of black remaining in his hair and beard.
"Fools! How long are you going to try to kill this boar?"
The old man shouted at the four who were previously trying to hunt the group of boars.
"Lord Sirius, we would have hunted it down if we were allowed to use magic. They are too slippery."
One of the men retorted. Seeing their own raising his voice, the remaining three nodded their heads in approval.
"Trash... you all are complete trash... don't complain; follow my training order, or I will personally send you to hell."
Hearing one of the guys complain and questioning his training regime, Sirius became angry.
Looking at the old man who was boiling in rage, the four guys lowered their heads in fear of making an enemy out of this old man.
"We Liberators don't need weaklings like you guys. You will only become dead weight for the rest of us during our coming attack."
"Spatial magic: Get me there."
The old man with a sneer opened a special door and walked inside it, along with the four following him.
'What an easter egg! Old man like a frog, you resolved something you shouldn't have. Hehe~'
With a smirk, Ben hunted 3 boars and returned to the old wooden house where he left Charlotte to rest.
Knock... knock...
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Charl, Ben."
After knocking on the door, Ben entered.
He was welcomed by Charlotte, who was dressing herself.
Ben looked at Charlotte and walked towards her, hugging her tightly.
Sniff... sniff...
"What are you doing, Ben?"
Feeling Ben sniffing her neck and hair, Charlotte became embarrassed and asked him.
"Remembering my woman's scent and marking her as mine,"
Ben whispered and bit her neck, marking her.
Suddenly, Charlotte turned and kissed him deeply.
After a few minutes of deep kissing, they separated from each other.
After Charlotte dressed, Ben informed her of what he found in the forest.
Hearing about Ben's findings, Charlotte's eyes widened because, for the past four months, Clover Kingdom had been trying to get information about the terrorist group named Liberators, but they couldn't find much useful information about them.
But this time, with the information provided by Ben, they might be able to make a big difference in the investigation.
Charlotte took her magic communication device and called Wizard King's assistant Marx, informing him about their findings in detail.
After informing Marx, both Charlotte and Ben took the hunted animals and walked toward the orphanage.
Ben transformed into four arms and carried the hunted animal's bodies easily.
Hage Village Orphanage...
Kids were looking at the two boys who went into the forest earlier in the morning, acting weirdly after returning from the forest.
While one anti-bird was angrily pecking at Asta's head, which had several bumps and wounds.
"Kids, what happened?"
Looking at the kids intensely talking about something, Sister Lily asked them curiously.
After hearing the explanation from the kids, Sister Lily walked towards Asta and Yuno worriedly.
"Asta, Yuno, what happened to you guys? Did you get hurt?"
Sister Lily shook the shoulders of both Yuno and Asta to wake them from their stupor.
"No... no... nothing happened."
Both of them said it at the same time and looked at each other while blinking their eyes.
"Oh my! Look at these wounds. Let me heal you."
"Water magic: Light Heal."
Looking at the several bumps on Asta's head, Sister Lily cast a healing spell on him.
Her grimoire opened, and her hands were covered by a blue aura.
Asta blushed looking at Sister Lily so close and her caring eyes.
"Sister Lily,"
Asta called Sister Lily with a determined look on his face.
"What happened, Asta?"
Sister Lily asked worriedly that Asta was feeling uncomfortable because of his injury.
"I love you. I will make you the happiest person in the world. So, please marry me..."
Asta, without breaking his eye contact with Lily, said with a serious tone.
'As expected of Brother Ben. I followed his way, and now Sister Lily is happy, and she will marry...'
Looking at Sister Lily, who didn't react like usual, Asta's chibi started to jump and gave a victory pose while he was imagining things with a smirk and closed eyes.
"Water magic: Holy Foot of Love."
Everyone in the arena heard a low voice from Sister Lily.
Yuno looked at the scene with dead eyes.
Ahhhhh...
A huge foot made of water condensed before Lily and kicked Asta towards the demon skull with a gentle smile on her face.
The entire village heard Asta's scream when he soared past them toward the demon skull.
"Ben, look at that."
Charlotte pointed at the figure passing in the sky like a comet while screaming,
"I will be back."
"Team Rocket!!!!"
Hearing Ben, Charlotte felt confused because she pointed at the sky to show the kid they met at the demon skull was flying.
"Oh, nothing... it's just some old memory. It's Asta, don't worry. Nothing will happen to him."
Ben took Charlotte's hand and started walking towards the entrance of the orphanage in his four-arms form.
Seeing a red monster walking towards the orphanage, the kids who noticed four arms started to scream in fear.
"Ahh... you monster! Don't touch my kids. If you want to eat me..."
Father Orsi, who noticed the commotion, hurried towards the entrance and opened both arms while kneeling.
"____"
"____"
Both Ben and Charlotte were speechless, looking at Father Orsi, who was trembling in fear while closing his eyes.
