Chapter 4: Lilim
He couldn't deny himself anymore. This wasn't his dream at all. This was real... He tried to calm himself down, before answering her. "Tell me what my new powers are."
"Well, first of all, I am Lilim, just a very small part of Lilith. Or people think we are the progeny of Lilith. But you can still count on me." Lilith's voice or we should say Lilim's voice continued.
"Lilim? The imp in my balls?" He was shocked again.
"I am NOT IMP! I am Lilim! I am one of the progenies of Lilith and Adam. You humans usually refer us to as 'the fallen ones' because they thought we had disobeyed against God. When Lilith bore children, we were born from her body. Our souls came from Adam's soul and our bodies came from Lilith's body. So technically speaking, apart from Eve's progeny, every human alive today has half-Lilim blood, our blood, running through their veins." She said while looking at him proudly.
"Half-Lilim blood?" What he learnt these two days was so out of his mind, against everything he knew before.
"Well, looks like you had been brain-washed by human's fake history. Let me tell you the truth." Lilim continued. "Lilith is a fascinating character in many of you human beings' myths and legends. There are many versions of her story, but here's the truth:"
"As you know in the Bible, Lilith was Adam's first wife. According to legend, she had been created by God as a companion for Adam, but then left him because she wanted more freedom. This angered God, and he cursed her to be expelled from Paradise and exiled into Hell. However, Bible didn't continue the following story in detail, Lilith later returned to Heaven, where she befriended Eve, Adam's second wife, and helped guide humanity through its early years. Eventually, Lilith gave birth to seven angels known as the Watchers, who watched over Earth and reported back to God about any potential threats or dangers. After several generations, Lilith died of old age, and lives on again in different form in Hell, and appears to people who have done bad things."
"Now go back to popular human belief, the original purpose of the Lilim was to serve God by helping Him create other beings even including plants and animals. Over time though, they became corrupted by prideful desires and began rebelling against God. Eventually, He sent his son Jesus Christ to save them from themselves… That sounds pretty tragic, right? And yet, it gives rise to one of Christianity's most important doctrines – that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus' sacrifice. In many ways, then, Lilith represents both good and evil within Christianity."
"Despite her flaws, there is an undeniable power to Lilith. She is often depicted as a dark goddess, a powerful figure standing up for herself and her own desires. In that respect, she is seen as a symbol of female empowerment and identity."
"You see, as I mentioned, even in human belief, Lilith has been portrayed differently in various myths and legends. In some cultures, she is perceived as an embodiment of independence and self-determination, while in others she is seen as an evil seductress."
"Overall, then, she represents both good and evil, so don't just think Lilith lives in Hell meaning she is evil. You are so lucky that she saw your potential and given you a second chance of life. This didn't happen very often, you know. Not many souls could become her pet."
"Interesting..." This was quite different from what he learned before. But now he didn't know if he should believe Lilim, after all she was a demoness. "Okay, tell me more about the powers." He tried to change the topic, before he got convinced, believing Lilith was good.
"Well, first of all, you can always ask me any questions about anyone around you. As a succubus playing souls for centuries, mind reading is just a basic skill. I can tell who has forbidden fantasies. I can see all their deepest desires. I can find all their illicit relationships."
"Apart from the basic mind ready, I can manipulate everyone's mind as long as they have forbidden desires. I can exude an irresistible charm and seduce any dirty souls. I can craft vivid fantasies that no unfaithful mind can reject. Of course, I can manipulate people's time too, as long as they pact with me, just like what you did with me. Very wise move." She giggled.
"No, it was not a wise move at all." He complained to her in my mind. Not sure if she could hear me.
"However, I am not going to give you all these powers. Otherwise, the game would be too easy for you." Lilith smirked. "Instead, you won't have any these powers at all."
"What?!" He was about to explode. He just started thinking how to use these powers to make him extend his life to eternal.
She giggled, enjoying his reaction. "But don't worry. As I said, you can ask any questions anytime. I can help you if it doesn't make the game too easy for you. Oh, I almost forgot I did give you one power..."
"One power? What is that?" He felt a bit excited finally.
"Lilim Guardian! It acted as a silent observer and enforcer, making sure you follow through on your part of the pact. Moreover, its primary function is to prevent the possibility of pregnancy in the women you encounter in the future" She laughed out loud.
"What? That is power?? That small demoness is just an invisible condom!" He shouted out loud in his mind, hoping she could hear his shouting. But there was no response since then. A few moments later, it was still silent.
With a deep sigh, Jay stood up on his feet. He needed answers, clarity in the chaos that had become his life. He moved into his small bathroom, catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror. The face that stared back at him was the face of a young man thrust into a maelstrom of mystery intrigue. His eyes held a mix of determination and trepidation. The clock was ticking, and he had a year to unravel the mysteries of his newfound abilities and the complex web of seduction he was expected to weave.
As he got dressed and prepared to face the day, Jay couldn't help but wonder how he would navigate this new existence. What kind of women would he encounter? What depths of desire and despair would he plumb to ensure his own survival? The questions swirled, but one thing was clear – his journey was now one of seduction, temptation, and moral ambiguity.
