Chapter 6: Chapter 6
"Hey...Hey kid" Garnet said softly as she shook Alex's shoulder a bit. But he didn't even budge, Alexa also was conked out in his arms as she was Koala gripping him.
Her arms around his shoulders and her legs around his torso, they're snores were quiet and slow but oddly in perfect synchronization.
"Awww aren't they the cutest" Roxy coo'ed as she put a hand on her face.
Felicia wanted to agree but stopped herself, and instead asked the real questions "How old do you think they are?"
Garnet was still shaking Alex's shoulder, the intensity growing as she was getting more and more annoyed. They're not in any form of coma as she could tell they were just asleep. At this point she put both of her hands on his shoulders and was shaking him quite rigorously-
Then and ONLY then did his eyes flutter open, as he roused from his sleep. He tiredly narrowed his eyes at the three women as his grip around Alexa unconsciously got tighter.
Garnet was surprised at how seriously the seemingly young boy stared at her...and the fact that his eyes were red unsettled her, Before she could get a word out Alex pinched Alexa's side
She jolted awake with surprise as she immediately went on high alert "Mag salita ka ng Tagalog...may ibang tao dito/Speak in Tagalog... there's other people here" He spoke in his native tounge as he looked suspiciously at the confused group
"What are they saying-" Felicia whispered to the resident book worm of the group which was Roxy "I have no idea...not a language I've ever heard before...maybe it's a made up language? I've heard of twins doing that before..." she suggested while Garnet was buys trying to show that they were not a threat
"Hey hey hey- calm down ...we're not bad people" She calmly stated as she raised her hands up slowly. Alexa turned her head towards the group and gave them a glance...before she smiled and started to tap Alex's shoulder excitedly.
"Oi oi oi! ang ganda naman nila no!? Mag sama nga tayo saka nila~" "Tch, Wag ka maging bobo- di natin sila kilala eh. Diba parehas dapat tayo? bakit hindi ka suspicious-"
To roughly translate what they said...
"Oi Oi Oi! They look hot no!? Let's go join them~" Alex clicked his tounge "Don't be an idiot- we don't know them! aren't we supposed to be the same? why aren't you suspicious-"
As the two bickered, the group only managed to understand a single word in their conversation. They think they're suspicious? Garnet sighed as she scratched her head
Felicia took a step forward and spoke loud enough to get their attention "Hey brats! can you even understand us?!" Alex and Alexa stopped their conversation and turned to look at Felicia before the spoke...in fluent English...at the same time-
"We understand you bitch, Shut up for a moment"
"We understand you bitch, Shut up for a moment"
They said with a fully blank face as they went right back to conversing in their own language. While Felicia's pale face turned red from anger and Roxy trying to stifle her laughter. Felicia grumbled under her breath- "I'm going to deck this son of a bitch in-"
Garnet slapped the upside of her head and scolded her in a hushed voice "Didn't I just say that we weren't suspicious! So stop it-" She then turned around and faced the two.
"I'm sorry for Felicia here~ she has quite a temper-" "It seems like you do too aswell" Alex cut her off with a smirk...that was hidden behind Alexa's head while Alexa cackled at his words
"Tch-" The tall black women clicked her tounge as she tried to control her anger...not wanting to prove him right "As I was saying-" she spoke through gritted teeth
"We aren't a danger, We're Adventurers. and we're only here to question on the whereabouts of your parents?"
This caused Alex and Alexa to make eye contact with eachother...before a smile morphed on their face as they spoke once again in Tagalog
(For easier writing I will now specify if their speaking it, so assume that other characters will not understand what they're saying as it sound like gibberish or "Twin Talk")
"Should we pretend to be siblings~?" Alex asked even despite knowing what she was going to respond with "Obviously, brother~ But let's be the creepy ones that speak at th same time" "isn't that going to be hard? even if we're still the same person it's hard to think the same thoughts-" she rolled her eyes with a thin smile on her face "Oh just believe in our connection~"
In a third person's view the two 'twins' seemed to be discussing something, the other seemingly trying to convince the other one (Alexa) and the other worrying about their safety and being cautious (Alex)
Sadly however they were just planning the most epic prank they'll be able to do in years. Their chattering subsides as they turned to the group and spoke
"Me and my Sister are alone"
"Me and my Brother are alone"
they simultaneously said, with Alexa having a slight smile on her face as she sat on his lap. and Alex having a slight frown in his face as he wrapped his arms around her protectively
This new found information caused Felicia to wince, as she thought 'i just called a child's potentially dead mother a bitch-'
Roxy coo'ed in sympathy, although her whole body was practically covered head to toe with a dark clothe. Reminiscient of a Hijab that a Muslim women would wear. Her eyes were the only thing that was visible and they shone like purple starlight.
Garnet sighed in regret for bringing up the subject, They look so young aswell "I'm sorry to hear that...do you have any place to stay or-"
"That's a stupid question, right brother?" "Yes sister, if we had any where else to stay we wouldn't have slept out here" the both nodded as they tried not too break character and laugh
Garnet took a deep breath as her eye twitched and her smile faltered a bit 'Dont get mad Don't get mad. They're only children'
Roxy was amused 'My my~ their going to be a handful if we take care of them...how adorable~'
