Chapter 8: Chp 8 :
The room was all clean and white, without a single speck of dirt.
There were two figures there who were wearing office clothes, but there was something strange about them; they had no mouth, nostrils, ears, or even hair.
Their bodies are pure white, and there are only two pairs of eyes that shine bright gold.
Two figures were seen floating and busy moving their fingers in the air, or more precisely, they were typing words that no one else could understand on the transparent virtual screen in the air.

"So... what happened to 'that product'? The figure asked his older brother, hesitantly waiting for an answer.
Fingers that were busy pressing something on the screen stopped suddenly and continued typing.
"I threw it away," answered his younger brother's question without hesitation.
"You should destroy it, not throw it away." surprised at his older brother's answer.
"It's not that I don't want to erase it, but I feel that our hard work to make 'that product' will be wasted; it's better to let 'that product' go where the spirits roam so that it can be used by someone." he said.
"But 'that product' is just a trial; it can't possibly be used well, and even though 'that product' is equipped with two intelligences, they are unable to help users; I mean, 'that product' is a defective product, or you could say it failed." Responding to the words of his older brother, who was typing.
"Yeah, you're right, and why did you name it 'that product'?"
"Eh... since you didn't give it a name, let's just call it 'that product' so I just call it 'that product'."
The figure typing on the screen stopped and looked at his little brother as if he saw an idiot in his eyes.
"No need to call 'that product'; just call #X1 trial system or X1 system."
"Oh... ahahaha I just want to look mysterious." He argued that he was trying to maintain his self-respect.
Seeing his little brother like that, he could only roll his eyes, turn his attention back to the screen, and start typing again.
"But these two intelligences are indeed too strong compared to the functions contained in the system." Said the younger brother, who was looking at his older brother typing on the virtual screen.
"Indeed, compared to novels, A.I.'s intelligence is not high, like a dead robot that answers questions, but the function and role in the system are very good."
"That's right, but doesn't our testing system also have an interesting function?"
"Interesting function? Oh, you mean the system eats or changes people's souls to become system energy, and for the system to open new operations, it requires a large supply of energy, and with the presence of energy, the system can create new things without limits, but it requires a very, very large number of souls."
"Yes, even every quest and reward given by the system to users costs energy."
"It's an interesting function, but in the end, the energy will run out if you don't kill someone to harvest dead souls."
"That's why the product was flawed and failed, but we no longer need to think about what energy is suitable for our next product; we are that energy." said the older brother to the younger brother.
"With our source of power as an inexhaustible energy center, we can gain greater profits." He said it excitedly, thinking about his genius idea.
"That's right, we as low-level gods like us have to think one step ahead like humans, not like the gods and goddesses above who are out of date." Said the younger brother, who couldn't hide his excitement.
"The stronger the user of our product, the stronger the divine power we gain; after all, every product is connected to us, and the power they accumulate throughout their lifetime will eventually return to its original owner when the user dies."

The two brothers were so excited and laughed so hard that they stopped their typing movements on the screen.

Suddenly, they both stopped laughing and looked around.
"What's that?" said the younger brother.
"I don't know; maybe it's the scout of nature ," said the eldest brother uncertainly.
"the scout of nature?"
"Yes, the scout of nature. But that's just a rumor circulating among the gods. Rumors circulating say he is an ancient god who is very strong and likes to spy on everything in the vast world to write interesting things in his book. I also hear that whoever is written in the book must have attracted the ancient gods, and those who are written in it can change the trajectory of their destiny."
"Wow, were we seen by an ancient god? I am very flattered." Said the younger brother with a happy face.
"Pfft, it's just a rumor; don't believe it."
The younger brother's mood immediately collapsed into gloom.
"Oh, there is one more thing in the rumor, but I don't remember it for sure. In the rumor, there is mention of the goddess AuroraFlower, but I don't remember more about it."
