Chapter 28: In heaven

ZOEY'S POV

I couldn't believe today was a weekend and my stupid boss was making me go to work. I was on my way to take Alex to my mom's place since Liv could not go with her to hers.

She had a meeting with her family and since none of them knew about Alex, I thought it was a bad idea if Liv left with her even though Liv thought it would be fine. I didn't want to put her in a position where she had to explain who Alex was. It was her family meeting, not an introduction meeting.

"Are you excited to see Grandma?"I asked Alex pulling up in my mom's driveway.

She smiled nodding."Yeah, I have never been here, so I am very excited to see where you grew up." she said looking through the window.

"So far how is it?"I looked at her after stopping the car.
