"But having said that, we can't be sure when Lord Rhodes and the others will receive the news."
"We don't know their current whereabouts. If they are too far from Asgard, or if there are numerous space folds or black holes between us and them, there might be signal loss in the information we transmit."
"Even Lord Rhodes won't receive our signal until they finish their journey and return to Asgard."
"But we don't know when Lord Rhodes will return. If he doesn't make it back before the other party breaks through our defenses, all he'll find when he returns is a colony or a desolate land."
Thor remarked.
"Shut your mocking mouth, Loki. Can't you say something helpful?"
Loki shrugged.
"If I can't defeat the opponent, I might as well offer your head as a gift. It might help me save my own life. Is that encouraging enough for you?"
Thor secretly wished he could knock Loki over with Mjolnir and bury him on the spot.
"Enough of your nonsense. Just do your best to support us and delay the enemy if possible. Our priority is to defend Asgard."
"We Asgardians live and die with our realm."
Loki nodded in agreement.
"That's a rather refreshing sentiment."
"Report, report to the two lords."
At that moment, an Asgardian guard entered.
"Our investigation reveals that the intruders are the Kree Empire's space fleet, led by Ronan the Accuser, an elder of the Kree Empire's command group. They've dispatched at least four to five million individuals this time."
"What? The Kree Empire? Weren't they supposed to have surrendered to us?"
"I'm not sure about recent events. They might be betraying us secretly."
"Then why don't we just lower our defensive energy barrier and go up to face the Kree Empire? We could handle them easily, given our strength and technology."
Thor, the God of Thunder, was eager to confront Ronan the Accuser.
But Loki, the God of Deceit, had his own concerns.
Loki furrowed his brow.
"No, there's more to this than it seems. If these are truly Kree Empire forces, they shouldn't be able to challenge our energy defense barrier like this. We shouldn't rush to lower our defenses. We should observe their intentions."
"Order all Asgardian subjects to evacuate. Given the enemy's current offensive, our energy defense barrier won't last long. We need to prepare for a direct confrontation in advance or things will get complicated."
"Very well, you're right."

He said, "Alright, I find this troublesome as well. Let's break through the energy defense barrier."
Ronan the Accuser exited his spaceship and, with his universal weapon in hand, charged at Asgard's energy defense barrier.
Injecting his power into the omnipotent weapon, Ronan unleashed a surge of blue electromagnetic energy that severely interfered with the energy barrier.
"Let's do it."
With the tremendous electromagnetic energy channeled onto Asgard's energy defense barrier, the normally stable light blue shield began to shake violently, even affecting the towers connected to it.
Inside the tower, Thor and Loki watched as the energy barrier wavered.
"No, these foes are powerful. Likely at the peak Heavenly Father level. Ordinary threats couldn't damage the barrier like this. We've raised it to the highest level. If it can't withstand this, how will we fight in the future?"
Loki rarely spoke with such seriousness.
"Regardless, Asgard's Heavenly Father-level gods must resist the enemy's assault. We need to locate their peak-level Heavenly Father and hold them off. Even if it means all our gods fall, we must protect Asgard. As long as Lord Rhodes returns, Asgard will be safe."

Meanwhile, a formidable legion of five million parasitic warriors, their bodies wrapped in black matter, hurtled toward the Asgardian main gods.
The Asgardian warriors didn't flinch, raising their cloaks to form protective energy barriers. As the sky lit up with intense laser fire, the two legions collided in a close-range battle.
Amidst this chaos, Asgard's greatest trial had just begun. The survival of Asgard hung in the balance, as both sides' main god legions engaged in fierce combat.
Now, the Asgardian warriors stood together with one resolve: as long as one of them survived, Asgard's fate remained uncertain.
