Chapter 16: Training with Kakashi

I chose to remain as clueless as my two teammates and we just went into training ground seven to train. I taught Sasuke what I knew about tree-walking per the scroll I got, and we began to drill Sakura until she grew exhausted because she needed the chakra. Much like in canon, she got it on the first try. Sasuke, having the advantage of the Sharingan also took much less time to get a good grasp of the technique.
We also sparred as hard as we could, forcing Sakura to keep up with our pace to help her close the gap in ability there was between us. She was the smartest, but the weakest. I didn't want her to get hurt, and Sasuke wanted someone else he could challenge. It worked out for all parties involved.
By the end of it, I had to carry Sakura to her house since she was unable to walk without stumbling, her body had been pushed to the limit during training. Sasuke went to his house shortly after we dropped Sakura off and told me to make sure I brought the scrolls so he could take a look. I nodded and went home to sleep.

I woke up early and did my daily rituals before making myself some breakfast in the form of sweat red bean buns, green tea, and quesadillas with chicken, green bell peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. Not all too healthy, but I was craving the aforementioned items and satisfied the craving.
I took a look at my system to see if I had any daily missions or such, but after completing the 'Academy Arc' I haven't received any. I did notice that there was an additional tab in my menu, but it just listed my techniques, and I haven't learned anything new just yet. I took another look at my stats and decided to do some math to figure out what my stats would look like if I only ever increased them through leveling up.
If I remember correctly, my initial stats were...

But the meditating to meet Kurama must've raised my INT and SNC because no way I started off that good. I was also doing a lot of physical training... there should be an option here that displays my initial stats for comparison... or at least my default rate of growth without training.
I then saw a tab with just that and figured the system showed me what I was looking for as I wanted or needed it. Handy.

Wow... So, per level, I should increase this much in each stat then....

Hmm... tanky... and well-balanced. Damn Naruto, if you'd paid more attention in class you would've rocked the academy for sure... not too sure about the clone jutsu, though. My INT had to be at like 40 for me to make passable clones 95% of the time.
Anyway, with all of my training, my stats shot way up. I'm going to need to make sure everyone can increase their base stats then. That seems to be much more important the more I look into this.

But I wonder why my CP and DS look so different... is there a bonus that gets applied by having a certain amount of points in certain stats?
[Every 10 VIT adds base DS, while every 5 INT adds 100 CP]
... Wow...
I shook my head and went over to the roof of the Academy since Kakashi didn't specify where to meet. I sent clones to pick up the other two and got some sweet red bean buns for them on the way there. After they'd arrived we sat down and chatted away until Kakashi decided to show up.

"Well, at least you get in trouble as a team, too," Kakashi said from behind us and Sakura jumped a meter off her seat in surprise.
"What do you mean, Sensei? You never specified where to meet, so we just came to the last place we saw you." I pointed out and offered him a bun.
He looked at it, and then at me, then took it and made it disappear; I'm assuming he ate it super quick or just put it in his pouch for later.
"Yes, well... you have a point. Anyway, let's get to a training ground, it's time for introductions. You got first, jumpy." He pointed at Sakura, who got annoyed at the nickname and we all followed him to yesterday's training ground.
We got to the three stumps and sat atop each before Sakura began.
"My name's Sakura Haruno. I like syrup-coated dumplings, trivia games, and reading books. I dislike spicy foods, and my dream is to become a respectable medic-nin."
I went next, "Naruto Uzumaki. I like buns with sweet fillings, ramen, and spending time with my friends. I dislike waiting in any capacity and my dream is to become the strongest Hokage."
"Sasuke Uchiha. I like tomatoes. Dislike sweet foods, and my goal... is to bring a certain someone to justice... Training is my main hobby." Sasuke replied after I nudged her with my foot.
"Excellent. You're all different and have your own motivations. Now I'll introduce myself. I'm Kakashi Hatake, my likes are... you're too young. My hobbies are... none of your business. And I don't have any dreams I can recall at the moment." He did his super lame intro.
"Oi, oi, you used to be ANBU, right? Do you know Cat? Can you ask if she can meet me over for ramen sometime? I miss her, ya'know?" I interrupted him with my more important request.
"How do you know I was ANBU?" He asked with a raised brow.
"How else? Nobody else in the village has that gravity-defying hair. You should've worn a wig or something. Anyway, how about it? Please? You'll be my second favorite teacher." I begged.
He sighs and shakes his head.
"Sure, I'll ask. But don't expect much." He got up.
"Hai, hai." I grinned happily.
Sasuke shook his head at me and Sakura had a curious expression. I only grinned in response.
I was about to say something but Kakashi cleared his throat.
"Ahem! Now, let's get to training. I still haven't seen what I'm working with, so I want you three to come at me with the intent to kill. Your goal is to grab these bells from me." He took out the infamous bells and we stared at them. He tied them around his waist and set up an alarm clock.
"You have until sundown to get the bells." He said and poofed. A shadow clone.

Lose Condition - Fail to obtain a bell, Fail to deal any damage

That's a weird penalty description; must be more to it than at first glance... Anyway, let's take a look at the big dog here...
