Chapter 26: Sinner Gu Shang
Zhang Han took in a deep breath, "I accept!" He said calmly.
He summoned the nameless sword, it was all black with an eerie aura around it, the sword didn't seem to be made of steel but by a black stone.
He swung it around awkwardly, this was his first time of holding a sword.
The previous owner of this body was a sword practitioner and was quite good with it too.
His teachers regarded him as a prodigy, but of course it was the game of nobility, kissing up to each other.
Though they over exaggerated it, it wasn't all a complete lie.
Zhang Han practiced some sword moves from the original owner's memory. It was awkward at the start, but the more he practiced the basic moves, the quicker his body adapted.
He kept practicing it for half a day. When the sun rose high above him, a smart idea came to his mind.

He began to correct all the flaws and started practicing the basics again, but this time without flaws.
Anybody who saw him would have thought he was a grand master of the sword dao.
He closed his eyes and watched the fight between the experts again.
He looked at the most simple move he saw and decided to imitate it to perfection.
He got up and took a stand, he held the nameless sword with two hands and swang it according to what he saw.

The hut was blown away, a deep crater was formed beneath his feet as the earth trembled as dust flew into the sky.
Everything within a twenty meter raidus was destroyed to dust.
Zhang Han stood there trembling, his entire body shook in fear, he had not expected this outcome.
He spat out blood as his clothes disintegrated.
The move was too powerful for him.
As he stood there naked on the open field, a sudden realization stuck him, causing him to laugh out like a maniac.
"I can steal skills and perfect them just by watching them!
Hahaha, The heavens dote on me too much"
He continued laughing like a maniac, the eyes of imperfection was all he needed to defeat all his enemies.
"I sure hope that the Grand General has amazing skills to loot" he said with a snicker.
Choosing the heavens flaw system was the best decision he ever made in his two life times.

A headless cops laid in a crystal coffin in the Grand hall of the Moonshade Sect.
All those present at the hall wore white robes with headbands.
A middle aged man held the head of the body as he cried.
"My poor son, father is sorry he couldn't protect you. Please forgive this foolish father of yours" The man said as he caressed the head of the dead man who happens to be his son.
The man was the Sect leader of the Moonshade Sect. He was a very imposing man who was known to be authoritative, it was said that he could remain composed in every situation, but no this one.
The dead boy was his only son with his late wife.
He wiped his tears off and glanced coldly at those in the hall.
"So you are saying my son died because he refused to bow to the prince of the north!
He died because he refused to bow to a lesser being!" He crushed the pillars closest to him as he was saying those words with increasing anger.
An old man walked into the hall with slow steps. He wore black robes and had long white hair.
The moment he entered the hall everyone went on their knees and greeted, "greetings to the ancestor!"
He waved them off, " No need for courtesies"
He then glanced at the sect leader, " Get a grip of yourself, you are the leader of this great sect, are you going to break down because of this minor incident"
He said harshly. The sect master was shocked before he became filled with anger, 'minor incident?' His only son died and he considered it a minor incident.
"Ancestor!"
"Sect master!"
The two of them said it at the same time with loud voices voices.
Everyone trembled in the hall, this two were the foundation of their sects, this wasn't the time to be arguing.
"You can take your revenge on that tiny empire, but you are not allowed to show weakness'' The ancestor spoke coldly.
The sect master clenched his first and took in a deep breath.
"The four supreme elders are to set off to Imperial Domain and behead the criminals who did this, don't spare any of them.
Make sure that there is a blood bath in the domain.
After you behead the prince of the north head to the imperial court and seek an explanation, if they don't give you a reasonable explanation..... You allowed to kill anyone with the exception of the emperor in the palace.
Show them our true power, take along with you as many Supreme Sovereigns as you can!" The sect leader said coldly"

Gu Shang sat in his study with a frown as he listened to reports from the northern borders,
Over the last few days, Liu Feifei has been treating him like a stranger. She even refused to share the same room with Gu Shang.
She was always keeping her distance from him and even seem weary of him.
He didn't know what he had done wrong and felt completely frustrated.
"The Wei empire seems to be gathering grains and wheat. It's strange because they've had a very bumper harvest the previous year, it doesn't make sense for them to run out of it so soon, that they'll need to buy it from other empires and kingdoms" The messenger reported.
"Our intelligence sent us a message during the hour of the rising serpent, they have reasons to believe that the Wei empire is planning a large scale invasion" The seventh emissary reported.
Gu Shang sneered, this empire sure is funny. Did they really think they can fight a prolonged war with his army.
What a joke.
Gathering rations for a prolonged war, joke of the century.
"SINNNER GU SHANG!!!!" A loud voice boomed across the capital, breaking the peace and tranquility.

"I've been waiting for you guys'' Gu Shang said with a smile as he stood up from his chair.

Sky_Piecer Hello dear readers, I'll like to give some extra information I didn't include.
Imperial Capital is the whole capital, it is large and can even form a low tier empire on it own with just the land size.
Imperial Domain is the core of Imperial capital, That's the area where the imperials can control in the capital.
Note that, The imperial family doesn't control the whole capital because there are the big three sects and the Moonshade Sect which all control a portion of the capital.
so don't be confused when I use them because they are not the same.
