Chapter 12: Moving Day 2
*Piiii Piiiii*
It was the horn of the moving van. It was time to go. Everyone hurried downstairs to the car but then stopped and said our goodbye to the house. They have been leaving here for years and it was hard to vacate it.
"Goodbye bedroom, secret makeup wardrobe, my favorite sofa conner. I will miss you" Adrenia was been too weird right now with all this talking to the house stuffs . Mariline held her hands and dragged her out to the van and were they sat to set on to their journey.
The scenery around was normal at first until it started looking too flashy. Where in the world were they heading towards? Isn't Harz supposed to be magical and unseen by humans. Now that Mari thought of it, weren't they supposed to just disappear and appear like sorcery .
" hey Mari , isn't this land said to be magical? So why does it look like we are going to vegas" Carmalo was right .it was weird how the journey seemed normal. Everyone was bored at the moment , leading some of them to sleep.

Mariline woke up to a faint tap on her thigh and opened one eye to see her mom standing there.
"Come on, lazy bones. We have arrived," her mom said, gesturing to Mariline, Adrenia, Carmalo, and Marley.
"Arrived!" They all jumped to their feet and hurried out of the van, only to find themselves surrounded by a thick forest. Mariline hesitated, not wanting to go in there, but her mom pulled her back by holding her ears, causing her pain.
"This forest has lots of wild animals. We're not entering through the trees. We're entering through a portal. Besides, this was the only place we wouldn't get noticed," her mom explained, and they all nodded.
"Remember, kids, Harz is just a fairy tale to humans. They don't know it's real, and we can't risk it," Marley's mom added.
She began speaking in a strange language, repeating a phrase three times. Sparks started to fly, and a portal appeared in front of them. An actual portal. The excitement filled them all, even Mariline's parents. Marley's family didn't need to flee; they all had powers and had only come to the human world for a peaceful family upbringing. They had their luggage with them and stepped through the portal. Mariline noticed a large chariot waiting for them, pulled by ten horses. A melodious welcome song played, though Mariline thought she heard it say "Welcome Elimen," while the others seemed not to notice any music emanating from nature..
"Ahhhhhhh, this is so beautiful," Marley exclaimed. The view was breathtaking, with unknown creatures flying above them that looked like dragons. These creatures were supposed to be royal pets, not just any normal mage pet. Their colors shimmered like a rainbow reflection of water.
"This place is amazing. Can you remind me why we left?" Marley asked, glancing at her parents with a funny expression. Mariline chuckled along with the others, but their laughter faded as they knew that they were heading towards the palace.
