Chapter 23: Chapter 22 History within the past
A/N: I wanted to make the chapter longer but I have many things to do this week's... So I don't have time to write a single chapter as an apology I tried to make an Omake.

Inside the vast, giant library, Aron and Kiana stood in awe of the countless books that surrounded them. The towering bookshelves stretched as far as the eye could see, their wooden frames untouched by time.
"Oi!" Bronya called to Kiana, cutely pointing at herself. "I'm the guidance fairy, Bronya." She was wearing a cute fairy costume with small transparent wings on her back.
"Aww~ So cute!" Aron suddenly hugged the girl, pressing his face against her.
Bronya smiled, happy to be called cute and enjoying Aron's embrace. But Kiana, not pleased with the affection between the two, quickly separated them.
"By the way, where are we?" Aron asked, looking around the place.
Bronya happily flew around the room and then explained, "This is the Schicksal core database, with the most detailed historical records of Honkai." She picked up one of the books on the shelf.
Upon hearing Bronya's explanation, he immediately asked Raphael to save all the data within this place. The entire library transformed into a forest, filled with mutated animals turned into Honkai beasts, rampaging through the digital realm.
"This is a virtual reality composed of data," Bronya said as she sat on Aron's shoulder. "It can entirely replicate the historical conditions of any era."
"Wow! This is even better than watching a movie!" Kiana shouted, her excitement growing with the ever-changing surroundings.
Aron, equally enthusiastic, chimed in, "Yeah, can we use this to watch anime?" Bronya's eyes suddenly sparkled upon hearing Aron's question.
"Yes, we can," Bronya answered. "The Bronya can create a virtual space where we can watch anime."
"SHH! Quiet, you two, I'm watching," Kiana said to Aron and Bronya, who were engrossed in their conversation.
"2717 B.C. Beasts that went rampaging due to the infection of Honkai Energy emerged for the first time. These were the earliest Honkai Beasts. The sole reason for their existence is to kill humans," a mechanical voice explained as an image of a bear with giant spider-like legs was displayed to the three.
"At this time, a mysterious girl appeared," the mechanical voice continued, showing an image of a little girl with a giant eagle that had mutated to resemble a phoenix, perched on her hand.
"This girl, named Ji Xuan, was later known as the 'Golden Empress.' She was the first human in history to possess the power to fight the Honkai."
"Ji Xuan Yuan single-handedly eliminated all the Honkai Beasts and then disappeared. Even up to now, Schicksal has been unable to determine her whereabouts."
"Report: It is concluded that she sealed an Honkai Beast called Chiyou," Raphael's voice was heard inside Aron's head.
Aron was shocked but happy to learn the truth.
Watching Ji Xuan fight, Kiana got excited and shouted, "Awesome! I want to go help."
"That's impossible," Aron replied.
"Aron is right, it is impossible. Everything here is only virtual data," Bronya answered.
Kiana pouted in displeasure, realizing she wouldn't be able to fight the Honkai Beast.
"System, switch to the next historical event," Bronya commanded, and the entire environment changed once again.
"In the 14th century Europe, Honkai Beasts emerged once again and had evolved to be stronger than before. But by then, Schicksal had already established itself in Europe," a mechanical voice explained.
The surroundings changed to show the appearance of many horses and Valkyries holding spears and swords.
"Schicksal had set up Valkyries to fight the Honkai. They had also developed weapons to take down the Honkai Beasts," the voice continued as the knights fought the Honkai Beasts within the image.
"For the first time, humans had the advantage in fighting the Honkai Beasts," showing how the Valkyries won against the beasts.
Suddenly, the image showed carriages carrying numerous Honkai Beasts. "At that time, humans were unable to completely annihilate the Honkai Beasts. They could only weaken their fighting capability and then capture them."
"Captured Beasts were locked up in the basement of a huge church, which was also Schicksal's European Headquarters." The background changed again, and an image of a giant chapel was shown to the three.
"When humanity thought they had grasped victory, they took a deep blow from an unexpected outcome," and the image changed once more, displaying weakened people lying on the ground with malnourished bodies.
"Honkai had manifested itself in the form of a disease. Schicksal's researchers guessed that the Honkai had some degree of intelligence."
"Black Death swept across Europe, and in just six years, it had already claimed 25 million lives." The system showed the trio a scene of numerous dead bodies.
Kiana, Aron, and Bronya wandered around the whole place, looking at the dead bodies, until they noticed a familiar cross planted in the ground.
Kiana stood in front of the cross and said, "This cross here, it looks like the one that is often with Theresa... What is this doing here?" A look of confusion appeared on her face as she saw the Oath of Judah, which was always carried by Theresa.
"Does that mean that this thing was created by people from the past?" Aron voiced his thoughts as he observed the Oath of Judah.
"Report: Oath of Judah was created by people from the past 50,000 years," Raphael's voice was heard by Aron inside his head, shocking him with this sudden information.
Suddenly, Kiana touched the cross, and her expression shifted from calm to shock until a bright light engulfed her.
"Kiana?" Bronya and Aron's voices echoed throughout the place, seeing Kiana had disappeared.
