Chapter 4: Chapter 3: Hybrid Serum! (Rework)

*Bang* *Ting* *Bang* *Ting*

I awoken from my unconscious from having injected the Hybrid Syrum into my body.

It was a shitty experience.

I knew what the sounds that had awoken me was. It was Bandits trying to open my Coffin.

Thinking about the Hybrid Serum I had just used on myself, dealing with the Bandits will go smoothly.

Krogan - Enhanced Strength, Bone Density and Durability, Toughened Skin, Regeneration

Salarian - High Speed Metabolism = 9nly 1 hour of sleep required

Turian - Low Radiation resistance

Angara - Can survive and live in Harsh Environments

Drell - Muscular Elasticity, Eidetic Memory

Prothean - Psychometry (touches a person or object and can "read" and "recall" the "experiences" of whatever is touched by the user. Will leave exposed for brief time and needs living being that is touched to be alive still.)

Human - Maintain original Humanoid appearance and form

(A/n I know you gonna say Vorcha DNA for adaptability, but it's okay slow adaptability also it'd be bith too op early and he would die from it cause of Vorcha physiology being extremely weak and short lived will decrease his own lifespan. He doesn't plan to get it until after he solved the massive decreased lifespan problem.)

The Salarian's enhanced intellect and Prothean's Psychometry will prove useful in learning and developing my Siren abilities.

I wasn't powerful, but I could definitely match or be only slightly weaker to Brick as of now. Brick was just a stronger version of DC's Bane and could effortlessly give a Krogan a concussion.

Brick was Superhuman levels of power. Whereas I was one tier below him. I may not be Superhumanly strong, but my other Enhancements to my physiology would allow me to possibly match him as of now. Naturally I'll lose since I have barely any combat experience compared to him, but in time that will be rectified.

Back to my current situation. A bunch of Bandits were trying to break into my Ciffin with Buzzaxes. Luckily they weren't actually functional Buzzaxes, where the blade spins like an Angle Grinder or a electric saw, thus they couldn't cut into my Coffin, otherwise I would have ended up as some Psycho's Skin Pizza.

(A/n They cut the face skin off and wear it on their masks. In the "Tales of The Borderlands")

My turrets must have run out of ammunition since the Bandits are alive and got past my turret perimeter.

I was able to move quite spaciously in my Coffin. Thus I equipped my Hawkmoon and Last Word.

I prepared to teleport to the far end of the room in their blind spot as soon as possible hole is created on the Coffin fir me to see our off.

As of now, I had gotten over the killing, of my first Bandit/Human ever, so dealing with them now will be A-Okay.

I waited. Then there it was. A hole was made.

I immediately teleported to the corner of the room, and used my Hakmoon first since it had the faster draw speed perk.

I saw 8 Bandits in the room.

I fired at the ones which had guns first, in a single second 3 died, I used Last Word and killed another 2.

My toughned skin thanks to the Krogan DNA should make my skin slightly bullet proof, but Borderlands guns are insane so I'm taking no chances.

3 left.

One Psycho was smart enough to drop to the floor and go prone, been rolled to the side and found cover.

Another was a midget and had done a roll forward which allowed him to dodge a bullet, just like the other Psycho.

The third one wasn't that smart as he tried jumping me. He instantly had his head slashed off by my Dark Saber, along with his weapon welding hand.

My Last Word was sent to my inventory instantly as I had taken out my Dark Saber.

The Midget ran around the room, under the tables, hiding from my Hawkmoon.

I tried firing at him until I noticed I was out of ammo.

The other Psycho realised and jumped me while the Midget ran with his tiny legs.

Human-Midget-Psycho-Buzzaxe-Yoda. HMPBY is why I'll call him for short.

HMPBY and the Psycho attacked at the same time.

I used the Hawkmoon to block the Psycho's Buzzaxe, while I slashed at HMPBY with my Dark Saber.

R.I.P. HMPBY, 15 seconds ago - 0 seconds ago. "You can't stop the Midge-Midge!"

I quickly turned around and slashed slashed the Pscho, who tried to block with his Buzzaxe.

The result was he got cut in half, from the head, vertically downwards.

It wasn't a perfect straight line since I was an amateur with a blade. I would definitely need to practice and learn as much as I can before Roland and the gang arrives.

I could hear a number of people outside, using both my newly enhanced senses, and my passive Spatial Awareness thanks my Siren Power.

There are too many so I escape for now and goes to the top of a mountain via my teleportation.

I was extremely dizzy when my teleportation had finished.

The distance I had teleported seemed to have exhausted nearly all of my Siren Energy in a single use of the ability.

Seeing the distance I teleported, I quickly processed it and calculated the amount of Suren Energy I possess. I will have to experiment more before I come to any conclusion on my own abilities Siren Energy pool.

(a/n similar to an Mana Pool.)

I quickly find a cave using the map on my Echo device. It was a real shitty model. Worse then the one Claptrap gives the Vault Hunters.

I doubt that would actually happen, since why in Hell would the 4 of them not have an Echo device.

Claptrap only gives it to the Player since it was a game feature to introduce it and its mechanics.

I enter the cave and purchase a large boulder. I had it drop out of my Storage Ring to cover the front of the cave.

I purchase some lights, bed, a turret, plates, food, an alarm and some other things I need.

This completely made me go broke to $100 remaining.

I ate my food and set up an alarm system and perimeter throughout the cave.

I placed some more turrets with more ammunition and another Coffin, but this time stronger then the one before. I spent quite a bit, but it was necessary to be safe.

I ponder what I would need to do to increase my abilities and overall Strath and capabilities.

I would need to buy books and manuals on how to fight among other things.

I'd also need to find a way to enhance my Siren abilities and Siren Energy Pool.

I thought about Eridium.

Eridium could enhance a Siren's capabilities in many ways. But it acn also have many consequences to it if absorbed in large quantities or by Non-Sirens.

The Inner Core and Core of Pandora had to be where The Destroyer is being held and trapped within.

The Mantale had to be made of Eridium since when Roland and the others opened The Vault of The Destroyer, it had caused the Eridium Scar to appear on one side of Pandora.

And the Crust was naturally what I, along with everything else on the surface of Pandora, was standing on.

I tried thinking of possible places where there could have been possible Eridium that had to have been mined and are laying around before The Destroyer's Vault was opened at the ending of Borderlands 1.

...

...

...

That's when I finally remembered. Currently, Baron Flynt's men was hold up at Sanctuary and the old Dahl mining facility beneath it, within The Caustic Caverns, which had been abandoned by Dahl since the time they left Pandora and Tannis refused to join them in going back.

In the 'Minecraft Mischief' quest, you could obtain some Raw Eridium like the Eridium Nuggets that Lilith uses in Borderlands 2 to enhance her power.

If I absorbed it, extremely slowly, over the course of a few days (3 PD = 11.25 ED), instead of absorbing it instantly like Lilith or Angel did.

Then I would be able to enhance my Siren Energy Pool without suffering its negative effects or the consequences of using to much Eridium, mire then what I am able to handle at the moment. This is what happened to Angel and she died because of it. I won't make the same mistake.

With my destination set, I can rest easy knowing that I will be strong enough to survive in this Universe.

I entered my Coffin and went to sleep once more.
