Chapter 26: Chapter 26: A Disciple's Request

An additional tent was visible in the area occupied by Allen. This tent was the tent that Erza used to stay temporarily. The tent Allen used was only large enough for one person to use. Therefore, Allen took out another tent from his storage room for Erza to use temporarily.

All the children from Rosemary Village started arriving one by one in the area. When they arrived, they found Allen and Erza who were already awake and doing their own activities. Erza had started her training while Allen sat relaxed while reading the book he was holding. Every child who comes will greet Allen then give something and after that start their own training in the hope of being successful on this last day.

"Hm?"

When a pair of brothers from an orphanage came to the area. They immediately walked towards Allen's current position. Their appearance was immediately noticed by Allen, especially the magic energy fluctuations that emerged from within Kagura could be felt clearly by Allen. Allen immediately stopped reading the book he was currently doing then looked at the pair of brothers who were only a few meters away from him.

Allen's gaze immediately glanced at Kagura and said with a smile, "Congratulations on successfully becoming a magician."

"Huh?" Kagura was stunned to hear Allen's words.

She blinked her eyes then asked quietly, "How did you know?"

"I have a perception ability that allows me to sense anything very easily, one of which is the magic energy that is inside you," Allen answered calmly, he then continued, "What is your name?"

"Kagura, Kagura Mikazuchi"

"Kagura? Nice name," Allen smiled in praise of the name.

Allen's praise certainly made Kagura very happy.

Allen then turned his attention to the boy who was currently with Kagura, "You should be Kagura's older brother, correct?"

"That's right, Allen-sama" The boy answered him politely, he then continued to introduce himself, "I am Simon, Simon Mikazuchi"

"Nice to meet you, too"

"Allen-sama" Kagura suddenly called him which immediately attracted the attention of Allen and Simon. Kagura hesitantly asked in a low voice, "Can my big brother come with us even if he can't feel magic energy and absorb it yet?"

Simon was very surprised by Kagura's request.

"You two should be the same, Erza, right? An orphan?"

"Hn," Kagura nodded gently, "Our parents have died and my brother is the only family I have." Kagura then walked towards the front then bowed directly in front of Allen, "Please. I don't want to be separated from my brother. Let my Brother come with us. I will do anything as long as he can come with us."

"Kagura..." Simon was touched by Kagura's actions. He really didn't expect Kagura to beg him to come with them.

Allen looked at Kagura who was currently bowing then his gaze looked at Simon, "Do you have the same feelings as him?"

"Huh?" Simin was stunned to hear Allen's question, she looked at him and asked, "What does that mean, Allen-sama?"

"I mean, do you also have the same feelings as your sister? Don't you want to part with her?"

"Well," Simon answered without thinking at all, "I would like to be with her. Kagura is the only family I have. I hope to always be close and protect her. However…" Simon paused, his hands clenched into tight fists as he said, "Otherwise---"

Simon's words were suddenly interrupted by Allen, "Don't worry, you can do it."

"Huh?"

Simon was stunned to hear Allen's words, "Allen-sama, what do you mean..."

"You can come with us later even as long as you can't feel the magic energy and absorb it. The request Kagura made to me was not a complicated request to grant. Besides, she is my disciple, how could I refuse a request from my youngest disciple like her?"

A feeling of joy immediately enveloped Simon and Kagura when they heard Allen's words. Tears slowly started to come out of both of their eyes.

"Thank You! Thank you very much, Allen-sama!"

"Thank you very much, Allen-sama!"

Simon and Kagura immediately bowed as a sign of gratitude for allowing the two of them to continue being together.

"You're welcome. Also, there is no need to use the extra "Sama" when calling my name. Just delete that because usually my students and friends call me just by my name without any honorifics like you two use."

Simon and Kagura immediately got up then nodded.

"We definitely will"

"Okay," Allen smiled then said while looking at Simon, "Simon, even though you can come with us even if you don't succeed in doing so, you still have to keep practicing and trying to be able to feel magic energy and absorb it. Today's time is still quite long and if you can't do it today, you will continue to do it until you can really feel the magic energy and absorb it."

"I understand" Simon understood this. Even though he had received permission to come with them, he still had to train to be able to feel the magic energy and absorb it. He didn't want to depend too much on his little sister. As an older sibling, he should be the one the younger sister relies on; not the other way around.

"You can definitely do it, Brother. I believe that!" Kagura also encouraged Simon.

"Thank you, I will definitely try to do it"

Simon then immediately turned around to find a suitable place for him to occupy.

"Kagura, take the chair in front of Erza's tent and put it in front of my chair. Before I will explain about the second training you will do, we need to discuss the matter of the magic you awakened."

"Hn,"

Kagura nodded and immediately went to take a chair in front of Erza's tent. She took the chair and dragged it towards Allen's front. Kagura arranged the chair properly then sat there.

"Now, can you release the magic energy that you possess? So that I can identify the magic that has been awakened by you."

Kagura nodded and immediately mobilized the magic energy she had. A purple aura slowly began to emerge and envelope her body. Right at the same time as the purple aura appeared, the pressure in the area increased compared to before.

" Oh? Gravity magic? Although the efficiency of this magic is still less than telekinesis magic, it is a very good magic as long as it can be developed well."

"Enough. You can withdraw your magic energy, Kagura."

"Uh? Hn,"

Kagura immediately withdrew her magic energy. The purple aura covering her body gradually disappeared. Kagura immediately looked at Allen with a curious gaze, she immediately asked without giving Allen a chance to say something, "Allen, what type of magic did I manage to awaken?"

"The magic you managed to awaken is gravity magic"

"Gravity magic?" Kagura asked with a confused expression. This was the first time she heard the word.

"Gravity magic is a very powerful magic as long as one manages to cultivate this magic well. This magic allows you to change the pressure on certain objects or areas. Maybe this explanation is difficult for you to understand. I will give a simpler explanation." Allen took a stone that was nearby, "Pay attention to this stone."

Kagura immediately noticed the stone that Allen was holding. Allen then dropped the stone on the ground and then picked it up again, "This stone fell due to the effects of gravity. All areas in this world have gravity, even humans can survive in this world because of gravity. As long as gravity doesn't exist, humans will float and maybe even leave this world."

Allen paused for a moment then smiled gently, "Your magic allows you to change that. You can increase gravity in a certain area. For example, if you increase gravity in the area around where the rock I am holding falls, this causes this rock to fall faster than the previous rock fell. Conversely, if you reduce the gravity in the area around the rock, then the speed of the fall of the rock will be slower and will even never fall at all because there is no gravity in that area."

Kagura slowly accepted the information that Allen had just conveyed to her. Allen let Kagura absorb the information given by him slowly and about two minutes passed, Allen asked quietly, "How is it, Kagura? Can you understand the explanation given by me?"

Kagura nodded and said hesitantly, "Only a little is understood by me."

"It doesn't matter. Don't be embarrassed to tell me directly. You are still easy and this kind of discussion is quite difficult for children your age to understand. We'll learn slowly, okay? If you have any questions you want to ask, please ask directly, I will help answer them"

"Hn," Kagura nodded happily.

"Well, now. Kagura. This type of magic allows you to fight with two conditions," Allen explained again, "The first condition is that you only rely on your magic while the second condition is that you use equipment to help you fight such as a sword, spear, or similar weapon. You can choose one of the two conditions that you want to develop. If you want to choose to use the first condition, then, you will only focus on practicing the magic you have. Meanwhile, if you choose the second condition, then, you will not only focus on practicing the magic you have but you will also practice using weapons."

Kagura thought about Allen's words, she then asked, "Allen, which do you think is the best? The first condition or the second condition?"

"Good question" Allen replied and said, "Each condition has its own advantages and disadvantages. First let's discuss the first condition. The advantage of the first condition is that you will be able to better understand the magic that I possess and the amount of magic energy that you possess will be much more abundant than in the second condition. Meanwhile, for your own shortcomings, you have a lack of melee attacks. Although you can cover it up by practicing hand to hand fighting skills. However, such things are ineffective if you combine them with your magic abilities. Meanwhile for the second condition. The advantage of this condition is that you will have many fighting styles. Fighting styles without using weapons or fighting styles using weapons. You can even combine your magic with the weapons you own, which can increase the destructive power of the attacks you release. Meanwhile, for the weaknesses themselves, you are required to train twice as hard as in the first condition. Because what you will be training is not just one but two at once. You have to train your magic abilities and your skills in using tools."

Allen then looked at Kagura, "My suggestion is that you choose the second condition."

"Second condition?" Kagura muttered quietly.

"I know someone who has the same magical abilities as you. His name is Issho" Allen said with a smile, "Issho is a figure who has the ability to manipulate gravity and he is also a very skilled sword user. Under his perseverance in training these two abilities, he became a very frightening figure. Issho's power can even destroy an island very easily."

"Island?" Kagura asked in confusion.

"An island is a landmass that is very large in size. The size of the island varies from small to large. Issho's power is so strong that he can destroy a medium-sized island very easily. Medium-sized islands themselves have sizes. Well, maybe, hundreds of times bigger than the village you live in now."

"…"

Kagura was stunned to hear this.

"As long as you work hard to develop your magic abilities and weapon skills. Your strength will be the same as Issho's strength. You can stand together with others at the top of this world."

Kagura didn't really understand Allen's last words. However, she understood Allen's words in the first and second parts. Therefore, "Allen, I would like to choose the second condition. I want to become as strong as Issho and then use that strength to protect my brother and the people I care about."

Kagura's words carried very strong determination. That determination even shone directly in her eyes. It was rare for a child less than five years old to say words filled with determination.

"Good determination," Allen smiled then his gaze immediately glanced at Erza who seemed to have just finished releasing all the magic energy stored in her body, "Erza!"

Allen's call immediately caught Erza's attention. Erza then immediately walked over to Allen. Her gaze then glanced at Kagura who was staring at him, "Kagura?"

"Hello" Kagura greeted quietly.

They both know each other, but the relationship between the two is not close. Kagura usually only hangs out with Simon. Rarely with others.

"It seems like you two already know each other," Allen immediately stepped in between the two, "Erza, Kagura is someone who has succeeded in becoming a magician."

"Huh?"

Erza was stunned to hear Allen's words. She then immediately changed her expression to a happy smile, "Congratulations, I didn't expect that apart from me, there was also someone else who could achieve that achievement so quickly."

"Thank you very much" Kagura said with a smile, she was happy with the praise Erza gave her.

"You should have finished consuming your magic energy, right?"

"Just finished" Erza nodded confirming this.

"Kagura will enter the same training as the training you are currently undergoing. Therefore, I hope you can help him explain the type of training he should undertake."

"I understand. I will definitely do it as best as I can" Erza then looked at Kagura and said, "Come with me. We went somewhere else so as not to disturb Allen here."

"Hn,"

Kagura nodded and immediately got up from her seat. She immediately followed Erza to the place occupied by Erza before. The two of them sat on the grass in the area and Erza began to explain about the training that Kagura would do from now on.
