Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Creator of Dragon Slayer Magic – Irene Belserion

Magnolia City, Fairy Tail Guild.

At this time right in front of the Guild building – Fairy Tail. All the guild members along with Mavis were already there. They were currently facing a woman who made the facial expressions of every member of the guild become very tense, scared and anxious. This happened because the amount of magic energy possessed by that figure exceeded the amount of magic energy they had ever seen until now and even exceeded the amount of magic energy possessed by Mavis.

"Irine Belserion" Mavis said in a deep voice, she looked at the figure of the woman standing full of pride and arrogance in front of her, "I didn't expect you to come here alone without her with you."

"I'm sure this is the first meeting between the two of us," Irene was not affected by the situation she created, she didn't even pay attention to the people around her, her gaze just looked at Mavis with interest and pride, "How do you know me? Ah, could it be that His Majesty told you that?"

"He did tell me that" Mavis answered calmly but there was very serious anticipation inside her.

"This woman…Is she an acquaintance of the First Master?"

"But, why is First Master so wary of her?"

"Could it be that she is an enemy who wants to do something?"

"Damn! Can we win against an enemy this strong?"

"I didn't expect Your Majesty to be so generous in telling you about me. However, considering the relationship between the two of you, it shouldn't be something I have to think about further." Irene said, "I didn't come here to fight or create chaos that you don't want. The purpose of my coming here should be known to you. Therefore, can you ask all your guild members to stop the stares they are giving you? Even though I don't care about it either, there's an unpleasant feeling of getting wary stares all the time."

"First Master…"

"Don't worry, she's not an enemy" Mavis immediately said seriously.

Everyone looked at each other then nodded. One by one they returned to the guild. Even though they went inside, some of them still stood beside the guild entrance to see the next scene between them.

"Can you tell me who helped you remove the curse you received? No, if possible, can you take me to see him?"

"I can't take you to meet him now"

"Huh?" Irene raised her eyebrows at Mavis' words.

"Currently he is not here, he is on a mission and has not yet returned from the mission he carried out."

"A mission?" Irene asked with interest, "What mission is he carrying out? Could it be an S grade mission or perhaps a higher grade mission?"

"No, he didn't do that kind of mission" Mavis replied, "He just did a mission that a typical wizard would do."

"Hah?" Irene was stunned to hear this.

"I'm sure you will find it hard to believe that. As someone who could remove the curse from Ankhseram, he had the ability to go on to complete S-level missions as well as missions of much higher levels. However, he was not interested in undertaking such missions. He only carries out missions that he finds interesting."

Irene was pensive when she heard this, she then asked, "Can you know when he will come back?"

"No," Mavis shook her head, "I couldn't predict that person. But…He will soon return from the mission he carried out. He has students he is currently teaching. Therefore, he will not be gone for too long."

"Student?" Irene was interested in this.

"Just for additional information for you" Mavis said again, "He won't help you without a reason or a suitable gift received by him. He has told me this. Don't try to use force to force him to do something you want. Even though your strength is very strong, in front of him, you can be killed by him very easily."

"I know, do you think I'm someone stupid?" Irene asked in a sarcastic tone, "Only a fool would do that kind of thing"

"I'm just reminding him of this and don't want him to do anything unwanted especially in this place" Mavis said again, "If you want, you can wait for him inside. As long as he returns from his mission, you will be able to meet him immediately instead of having to wait somewhere else."

"I think that's good advice"

Mavis immediately led Irene into their guild. Irene's arrival immediately made everyone in the guild tense.

"You guys don't need to worry. He didn't come here with any bad intentions. He came here because he wanted to ask Allen for help."

"Allen? Is that the name of the person who helped Mavis remove the curse?"

"Ask Allen for help?"

"What favor does she want to ask Allen?"

"By the way, who is stronger her or Allen?"

The calm calmed down a bit when the guild members found out the purpose of Irene's visit to the place. Discussions in small voices suddenly occurred at that place.

"Hm? What's that?"

Irene was suddenly attracted by a lacrima screen installed at the top of the guild entrance.

"Magic energy power ranking list?" Irene asked in an interested tone.

"It's a device created by Allen," Mavis explained, "There is a device that can assess a person's magical energy in the form of numbers. The greater the magical energy a person has, the higher the number that person can get. A wizard who managed to reach 51 to 60 was a wizard who had strength equivalent to an S class wizard. A wizard who managed to reach 61 to 70 was a wizard who had strength equivalent to a Holy Wizard. Then further up. The higher the value, the greater the difference in strength between two people. It's like someone with magic energy that reaches 90 while there is another person who has magic energy that reaches 85. The comparison of the strength of these two magicians is not close, it's very far. Maybe twice or three times. A wizard with a magic energy level of 90 has two to three times more power than a wizard with a magic power of 85. It's just…"

"That only applies to the top grades. The value for bringing it yourself is from one to 50. The comparison of strength between magicians is not that far off. A wizard whose magic energy reaches 50 can still be defeated by a wizard with magic energy reaching 40 or above. That is what Allen previously conveyed to us and has also been approved by the Third Master of this Guild."

Irene was a little surprised to hear the information that Mavis had just conveyed. She then paid close attention to the ranking list currently showing on the lacrima screen.

Magic Power Ranking List.

1. Allen [150 points]

2. Mavis Vermilion [71 Points]

3. Makarov Dreyar [65 Points]

4. Rumi Usagiyama [29 Points]

5. Keigo Takami [26 Points]

6. Jack Ripper [25 Points]

7. Yosuga Musyogatake [23 Points]

8. Wakaba Mine [23 Points]

9. Macao Cobort [22 Points]

10. Reedus Johan [21 Points]

Irene then looked at Mavis, "Can I try the tool? I want to know the value of the magic power I possess."

"That can be done" Mavis said, "However, your name will not be included in our guild's ranking list."

"Why?"

"The device had been complexly constructed by Allen. Only people with our guild emblem can enter the list as long as they meet the requirements to enter. For anyone who doesn't have our guild symbol, they won't be able to enter the list even if their strength can be included in the list."

"I see, no problem. I just want to measure how strong my magic power is."

Mavis nodded then started to take Irene to a tool that could help her measure her magic power.

"How much value did she get?"

"Who knows. What is certain is that the number is higher than that of First Master and Third Master."

"Do you think she can surpass Allen in value?"

"Not sure. Allen has always suppressed his magical powers, therefore it is difficult for us to know how strong his powers really are."

"Tsk"

"Hehehe~ This is going to be very interesting"

"Let's see how much power that woman has"

"Is this the tool?"

Irene looked at the equipment in front of her with a look full of interest.

"Well," Mavis nodded and said, "This device is called the Magic Power Measuring Crystal Ball. This tool was created by Allen and only our guild has it. Until now there are no plans to sell or give it to anyone. You simply place your hand on the crystal ball then input the magic energy you have into it. The crystal ball will immediately glow and then emit a bright light. You will be able to know the value you have when the light from the ball begins to dim."

Irene nodded and immediately raised her smooth hand to the crystal ball. She immediately put the magic energy she had into the device. Simultaneously, the crystal ball began to emit extremely bright light. Irene narrowed her eyes when she received the light. Gradually the light from the crystal ball began to dim. Everyone patiently waited for Irene's results.

"That…"

"Unlucky! That's very high"

"Her results are higher than First Master and Third Master"

"Well, even so, it is still a long way from achieving the results achieved by Allen."

"94" Mavis muttered softly looking at the results obtained by Irene.

The results obtained by Irene after testing her magic energy were 94.

"94?" Irene asked quietly, she looked at Mavis and asked, "How much do I compare with that person named Allen?"

Mavis looked at Irene with a calm gaze then answered, "I can only say that the comparison is very far."

"Oh?" Irene was interested to hear this.

"As far as I know, Allen once said that the difference in strength between someone in the hundreds of levels is very large. If we had previously known that the difference of just four to five levels between two people at level fifty to level one hundred would be two to three times greater. So, it is possible that at a power level of hundreds, the difference of just one level could be two, three or even four times greater. It is not impossible for a person whose strength level is one level higher than another to have strength that is two, three to four times stronger than that other."

Irene was stunned to hear this. She then looked at the score she had obtained then looked at the lacrima screen where her gaze was directed at the result obtained by Allen who got a result of 150.

"Allen…Is it possible that that person is a Monarch?" A thought immediately crossed Irene's mind, she then shook her head where a small smile suddenly appeared on her beautiful face, this smile was not the cynical, arrogant and proud smile she showed before, it was a smile of interest, "I can't wait to meet him"

*******

Train.

In a cabin in a VIP carriage. In the cabin, Allen and the others were seen there. They were currently on their way back to Magnolia City after all the business they had in Clover City was finished. Makarov also finally got to know Erza and the others. It could be said that Makarov was very happy with the presence of these children joining his guild.

"Until now it is still hard to believe that the mission you carried out was not a low level mission," Makarov sighed, he then looked at Allen who was sitting relaxed in front of him, "Thank you for completing this mission, my son. If someone else were to take on the mission, they might suffer injuries or even death without them knowing."

Erza felt bad hearing this.

"It's not a big deal," Allen shrugged and continued, "How was the previous meeting? The parents are still asking for information regarding the development carried out by us."

"Well, they are very curious about this, even the council itself wants to know about the development carried out by us."

"Board?"

"Well, they seem interested in what our guild is doing," Makarov said, "From the council itself, I have given them a little explanation regarding the development carried out by us and they have no problem with it provided that there is no fight that leads directly to the death of the witches"

"You mean a life and death battle? Who would do something stupid like that? Is it possible that the council's assessment of us is so low that they always have bad thoughts about us? Master, how about you assign me to destroy the area around the council? Five or six mountains, I think that's enough. Don't worry, the culprit will not be known to them. I will release the ability remotely so that no one knows. What do you think?!"

"No! Stop your stupid thinking!" Makarov immediately shouted in rejection of Allen's wishes, sweat was coming off his body because he knew Allen could do it.

"Can you do that kind of thing, Allen?" Erza asked with a curious look.

"He can do it" It wasn't Erza who said it but Makarov, "The power your teacher has is stronger than you know. He could do things like he said easily without anyone knowing. Therefore, I forbade him from doing so otherwise..." Makarov's body immediately shivered, "He will cause a lot of trouble for me."

"It's just paperwork. Just learn the clone's abilities and let your clone take care of the rotten paperwork."

Makarov suddenly became pensive when he heard this. He felt that Allen's words opened up an opportunity for him to relax more.
