Chapter 6: 6] Well, now~ it's a party!

(Shin POV, Bank somewhere)

My hands burst with fire as I think about enslaving these people to steal their Flairs, causing a smile to emerge on my face.

Shin- "How do you guys feel about coming with me? At least for a week or two." Their anger dims as it turns into confusion.

M Thug 1- "What?"

Shin- "I don't think I mentioned that I'm no hero, I quite frankly despise their ideals. You all seem valuable, so I'm willing to let you work for me." They seem to have forgotten their anger, and are contemplating what I said.

M Thug 2- "What's in it for us?" I scoff.

Shin- "Well, I don't kill you. That's the first thing. And the second, I believe that it will be worth your time." They look back and forth between each other.

"I can guarantee that you'll be stronger by the end of this, and if you wish to go you can. You'll also get my protection from heroes." I then make a motion to the rest of the building.

"Do you see how there is nobody else? I took care of them while you were struggling against me. I also took out all of the cameras before I made an appearance, so nobody knows that I'm even here." Thug 4 runs into the room.

M Thug 3- "Hey! I got it open... Where did the hostages go? Who's this guy?" The female thug explains the situation to him.

"Are you guys going to go with this guy? We just met, I don't know if I can trust him." I start cackling.

Shin- "Good! Don't trust strangers, Thug 4 is right!" He snaps his eyes to me.

M Thug 3- "My name isn't 'Thug 4', it's-" I interrupt him.

Shin- "And now you'll reveal your identity, I don't care. Not unless you are joining me." He seems ticked off, but I can understand why.

F Thug- "I... Think we should go with him." The others look at her with shock. "I mean, what are we going to do after this? Our faces were already seen on camera, we can't go anywhere without being hunted. At least with... Uh... Hollow's help, I think we can get away." I nod.

Shin- "She's right. With my help, I can erase the fact that you were even here." I hold out my hand. "Now, will you accept?"

Surprisingly, two of the male thugs walk over to my side. Then the female one follows once she realizes the symbolism. The only one left is Thug 4.

M Thug 3- "Ugh, fine. I'll join you since everyone else is."

Shin- "Perfect. Now, while I fix your problems, tell me your names and Flairs."

M Thug1- "I'm Zeke, my Flairs are [Flame Fist] and [Fyra Blast]."

M Thug 2- "Roya, my Flair is [Temperature Drop]."

F Thug- "Cal me Aerin, I use [Wind Blade] and [Airrow]~"

M Thug 3- "Gavin, I can manipulate the earth to a degree." I raise my eyebrow at this.

Shin- "No fancy name?" Gavin shakes his head.

Gavin- "I find it stupid, and it could allow others to identify us from when we were younger." This causes me to start laughing.

Shin- "Very smart, I'm starting to like you. Also, wasn't Zeke unconscious?" Aerin steps up.

Aerin- "Oh, Roya woke him up. I think Gavin might have also assisted with how much noise he was making." I nod.

Shin- "I see." I finally make it to the camera room, and the door is electrically locked. "What idiots." The door gets fried, allowing us to enter without trouble.

I slam the guards to the wall with my telekinesis, instantly knocking them out. I reach the console and search through the security footage, deleting anything that showed my new slav- *Ahem* Interns.

I also search to see if they have any hard drives or external storage area.

After deleting it all, I fry the whole console. I've been here a total of 5 minutes, it's time to go. I pick up my whole group along with myself, and we fly to the vault area.

Using another electrical pulse to fry any trackers, I pick up hundreds of thousands of dollars. I also pick up other valuable things, metals that can be melted down for other things.

After getting everything valuable, we book it. We fly to the opposite end of town, staying out of sight as much as possible.

We make it to an abandoned warehouse in the middle of a forest area, and I set my interns down. Floating the bags full of crap to a secure area, I set them down as well.

My body trembles slightly, showing just how tired I am. The others don't see it, and I won't let them. I have to make them believe that I'm some extremely powerful being.

Aerin- "Mr. Hollow, where... is this place?" I let out a small breathy laugh.

Shin- "This is our base of operations right now, but we'll be getting a new one soon enough." They start looking around. "Sorry, but this is all I could get in such short notice. I wasn't expecting people to be joining me."

I tell them that I have something to do, as I float up most of the bags of money.

Gavin- "Why are you taking all of that?" He looks at me suspiciously.

Shin- "Well, obviously to make sure you don't run away with it. I left you a bag, that way you could buy basically whatever you want. I'm going to go hide these in different locations." Gavin looks down, realizing that I'm right.

"Don't worry, I'll be back. I just have prior arrangements. Stay here if you want, or don't. Just be sure to be back by 6:00 PM tomorrow, because that's when I'll come by." He nods, and I leave.

I go to my house, making sure that I wasn't followed. I swing open the window and fly in, bringing the money inside as well.

After distributing money in different locations in my house, I sit down on the couch and take off my mask/cloak.

"I'm taking a freaking nap, I can barely move!" I just lie down on the couch and pass out.

A week passes and nothing much happens. I end up becoming a pseudo avatar, allowing me to learn something. I got Aiya to let me 'eat' her ice, and it fused with Roya's temperature drop.

Oh, I forgot about [Spatial Movement]. I ended up mastering it, but it didn't progress very quickly. I can assume it's because I only got the bare minimum requirement to be able to use it, because I snuck some... I'll figure out a name for it later.

Basically I syphon the energy that it takes to use a Flair, and fuse it together to remake it.

(Eyy, if someone wants to give me a few names for the 'Mana' for Flairs, go right ahead. Comment here, and I may use your suggestion in the future.)

Anyway, [Spatial Movement] is only functional to a degree that I can teleport a pencil... half a foot away...

I meet with my Crook Crew every day, slowly upgrading the warehouse with crap that I buy. Aerin and Zeke basically live there, saying that it's better than their home.

Once I hear that, I begin buying stuff for entertainment. Game consoles, a TV, board games, etcetera. Now even Gavin stays there.

Shin- "Don't get too attached, in a few months, I'm getting a mansion." I still have yet to show them my face, and I always wear a face distorting mask. It kind of looks like a mask robin would wear.

Yes, I used the two face distorters on masks. What did you think I was going to use them on? One my main mask, and the other for comfort when talking to my lackeys.

School is going well, and Aiya sometimes talks to me in public. She always apologizes for her behavior towards me whenever we are separated from everyone.

Aiya- "I'm sorry! I hate having to be mean to you, you're my only real friend..." I just pat her head as I so often do to calm her down.

Shin- "Bruh, calm the flip down. I've told you this a hundred times, I don't mind it. I'm fine as long as you talk to me like this, that way I can tell that you don't actually hate me."

Aiya- "I would never hate you!" I stifle a laugh.

Shin- "We'll see, give me a while. I bet you'll hate me eventually, even if it's just a second."

Aiya- "As if, even if I'm upset I can't ever hate you." I take out my phone.

Shin- "I'm going to need you to say that again." I press the audio record button.

Aiya- "I said, you can't ever do anything that will make me hate you!" I flinch in shock after hearing that.

Shin- "You... Know how that sounds right? That's... Dangerous to say to anybody beside me." She seems too flustered to register what she said.

Aiya- "And why are you the exception?" With my unoccupied hand I take a sip from a juicebox.

Shin- "Cause I'm not going to do anything... Let's say, perverted?" She seems stunned, but then thinks back to what she said... Which I play back after stopping recording.

Recording- "you can't ever do anything that will make me hate you!"

Once she hears his her face heats up.

Shin- "Yeah, sounds pretty bad doesn't it." She slowly nods her head as I let out a small chuckle.
