The First Found Friend
As soon as I saw the woman that was on the verge of her death. My body moves on its own towards that person.
And as I see more clearly her condition. I know she is in a critical state already.
I don't know too why I don't feel any emotions at all while looking at the woman even though this is the first time I really saw someone that is being bathed in her own blood. My heart is very calm and my mind is at peace. Not typical for the situation.
Maybe this is because I am a monster now, that's why I don't feel anything? I don't know.
'Maybe, I could just think of the answer once I save this woman in front of me. Right. That is the best thing to do right now.'
And as I collect my thoughts, "System, can you please analyze this woman's situation? Can we still save her?"

As the information dumps on my head, I stare at the mysterious woman for a second in front full of curiosity and bewilderness.
This woman's profile can't get through to the system... my unique skill [Voice of The World] can't gather her personal information? It can't be... even though my level is low, my [Voice of The World] is still a unique skill.
... what is she?
'No, Ash! This is not the right perfect time for you to be curious about this woman's true identity. You can make her spill the beans later, but for this moment. Focus more on saving her life in the break of death. Yes. That's the right thing to do.'
"System, can you please check if we can do something in her state?"

"Really, system? We can do something like that using the whisteria plant?!" I wasn't able to hide my excitement to the system as I heard that good news.
[Alert! Absolutely. Is the host wants to extract a portion of whisteria potion to his body to save the unknown being. Kai?"
"Yes, system! Please do so!" Since this is the first stepping stone for me to be somehow a help for a being like me in the past. I can't let someone like her die. Not in my watch.

As soon as the system in my head tells that, I vomit a blue sparkly water to the unknown being's body.
And as soon as the blue sparkly water reaches the severe wounds of this woman, it absorbs the whisteria water rapidly like it is thirsty for it.
And in an instant, all the severely wounded flesh of the woman, closed and grew just as new. And at that moment, I saw for the first time how handful the whisteria plant is when it comes to a time like this.

"Arghuh! Ahuh!" She choked. The earlier unconscious woman opened her eyes as soon as her body absorbed all the whisteria potion that I threw at her.
And as my eyes met her dark purple eyes, she instantly stood up on the ground like nothing happened and pointed her sword at me with the intent of beheading me!
Shit! Why didn't I think that this thing could happen?! Am I going to die now in the hands of the woman I just saved?!
"Who are you?" That cold and terrifying question that came out from this all-violet woman became one the horror in my chest.
I step backward a little to gain distance while making an innocent face thinking that she could let me explain by it, though, it is a wrong move. Because this woman is a lunatic-freak that will not doublethink to remove my head in my body with a powerful swing from her sword from just a little unnecessary move I make!
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Can you please chill out?! I'm not an enemy! I am the one who save you from following the light earlier, can't you see?!" I panickly pointed out what should be given to this damn woman.
But instead of being at ease, she closed the tip of her majestic sword in my neck and gave me a death glare.
'What's wrong with her attitude?! Is this the right treatment that you should give to the person who saved you?!'

"Why did you save me, monster? What is your true intention from me? Who sent you?" I forcely go back to reality when I feel the tip of this violet-lunatic-woman sword in my neck. I can also feel my blood from dripping because of the sharpness of the tip of her sword!
Shit, I need to explain to this woman my side or I will be really a dead meat in no time!
"Look, woman… I don't know what you are talking about right now, alright?!" From my very first sentence, the death glare of this woman from me became more intent. But I didn't back down to that. swallowed all my cowardness and kept talking.
"I just saved you because I saw you having a meeting with your ancestors a while ago, 'because I thought' that is the right thing to do, ok?! No one sent me, and to clean the record, I don't even know who you are. So put down your sword until you really cut my head!" I give a remark while slowly growing the distance from her sword that is really pointing at me viscously.
Shit, being weak is really a headache. I can't do anything besides explaining myself to her. I don't even have the bulge to make a fight at this all-violet woman because even though I really didn't sense her aura, my monster senses telling me that this woman is dangerous the moment I get a glimpse of her unique dark violet eyes that is like a marble that contain the stars of the universe.
And anyhow, how can we understand each other, anyway? I'm sure her language is not an earth language. Weird... anyway, lets focus more on this woman that is still keeping her death glare at me.
"So, you're saying that you don't know my existence? ... you don't know my identity? M-Me?" She redundantly pointed herself after a moment of silence. Like… it is really quite shocking that a monster like me is quite exceptional because I don't know her existence.
I was silent for a bit.
I really don't know what she wants to point out. Like... do I really have to know who she is? And what is she? Plus, how could I ever know her if even my system couldn't get information from her?
'Is she an important person in this world or what not? Tsk, let's dump that for now.'
"Yes, I don't really know you at all. And again, the only reason I saved you earlier is just because I thought it is the right thing to do for someone who is in need of help," I explained once again, but this time, with seriousness and sincerity to prove her my point.
Her dark violet eyes glowed as she grew silent from what I said. But I didn't think more about it. I just keep my mouth working to deliver my final saying to clear my stained reputation.
I heaved a deep sigh first before staring at the safe zone sailing where gigantic crystals that acted as a light bulb on this floor.
"Plus, I wouldn't hesitate to save someone who is in silver lining whether it is you or another person. So please, woman. Don't think of any ill idea about my intention because it is purely coincidental and a samaritan act." As I delivered my end of speech, I brought my gaze back to the scary woman in my front.
And after a moment of defining silence from both of us, she closed her glowing dark violet eyes, and when I met it again, as she met my eyes back, it went back to its normal dark violet color. And there, she withdrew her sword pointing at me.
"Ok, I believe your testimony monster. And," She bowed her head before continuing what she's saying, "I'm so sorry for threatening your life. I am really guilty of the sin that I commited. You can take my life as you please for the punishment!" She said with full dismay and guilt.
I nagged my head in decline and let out a heavy sigh before replying, "Apology accepted."
"But… I don't want your life, ok?" She straightened her body. She face me once again, shocked and astonished.
I look at her simply before continuing.
"Because, what is the purpose of saving you earlier if I will just take it away? I just let you die earlier if that's my plan from the start," I continued. Making it more comfortable for us to converse because I still need to ask her some questions regarding this world because I still don't know anything from it.
"Yes, monster. You're right," She said with a very satisfying tone. And the thing that I didn't expect coming from this lunatic all-violet woman after that is she handed over her hand to me with a friendly-cute smile.
"I am Chronas, and you monster? Do you already have a name?"
I wasn't able to instantly reply to the woman who wanted to be friends with me after raising her sword and tr to kill me earlier just because I don't want to have any connection from her.
I-It is just that… my mind went blank for a bit, for the reason of, this is the first time that someone wants to be acquitted to me. Something like a…
A friend...
"M-Monster? Are you ok?" Chronas asks with a hint of worriedness after I space out her face.
I collect my thoughts and close our distance to accept her hand in the mid-air since my hands now are pretty... short, compared to my human arms before...
"N-No, haha. Anyway, nice to meet you Chronas. And I'm so sorry to tell. But I am a nameless monster, that's why I can't introduce myself to you properly. Sorry…" I avoided our eye contact because I am really quite shy now because this is the first time that someone wants to befriend me. And it is really a timely manner that I am now a monster that doesn't have a name!
'Tsk, system, is this also one of your doings?!'

[Alert! Analyzing complete. The answer is no. Monster is really born to have no name. Kai!]
'Tsk, you better telling the truth system if you don't want to be-'
"No, it's ok. It is quite given for monsters like you to not have a name yet." Chronas comfort words together with her natural girly laugh make me a bit even more embarrassed because I always blame the system in my head in my misfortunes.

"BUT MONSTER, what are your plans now? Do you have anything else in mind?" Chronos asks after we introduce ourselves to each other.
"I will leave this floor and climb the tower and see the world," I answer with full honesty.
Chronas stares at me for a moment then smiles at me, "Are you sure you can do that now in your current state monster?"
I get confused, "What do you mean?"
She heaved a sigh, "Well, as you may know, the floor that we are in right now is second to the last floor of this dungeon. Meaning to say..." her eyes became serious, "The floor that is beneath us right now is the final floor where Zeus, the Thunder God Dragon, the master of this Dungeon, rests. And what awaits you if you climb this tower on your own is the monsters and bosses of each floor which are really strongs, so I am asking... can you survive with your current status?"
I fell silent to that question of Chronas. I can't give her the answer that, "I can" because I know after all deep inside me that, "I don't". Because I am still weak. Damn it...
"Answer me, Monster, can you?"
I let out a heavy breath before being truthful to her and of course to myself, "N-No... I can't do it."
"Perfect!" She exclaimed that my eyes went to her. And I don't know why I didn't feel attacked or inferior when I saw Chronas smiling widely at me in this lowest and shameful state of mine. Hence, I find her smile more comforting and warm.
She offers her hand at me once again to this land where our only audience is the ruins of the past.
"Then, let me make you the strongest monster on the entire Livettia so you can conquer anything and see the world outside of this Dungeon, young one, just take my hand and I will do it," She said with full of promise and hope.
And at that moment, the lunatic-freak woman I met unexpectedly became the ray of hope for me to break the inner wall inside to stand up and be greedy for power.
"I will accept your help, Chronas. So please, make me the strongest monster who ever lived," I accept her hand.
Her smile became more widely, "Prepare yourself then, Monster. That dream will be hard."
