Chapter 8: Reencounter between a mob and the cultivator
When Kyle woke up, he was standing in the middle of the crowd on the subway. He had nausea and a headache, his vision became blurry and he had to fight to keep from losing his balance.
He doesn't know if it's because he didn't sleep well or the food he bought was spoiled, but he just experienced a horrible nightmare and now he feels terrible.
He looked at the watch in the hand of the middle-aged woman sitting in front of him and realized that not a minute has passed since he fell asleep.
And after his sight recovered, he saw that all the people around him remain the same as before and there are no traces of the scary old man in his dream.
He looked at the scenery through the window to calm his mind and shifted his attention to the upcoming exam.
Since he arrived, he has been doubting whether it was a good decision to become an elite student.
If he had chosen to be an ordinary student, he would already be arriving in Arcadia to start classes.
But he wanted to try, a second chance at life is not something everyone can receive and he thinks it's good to have some ambitions.
For the moment, his goal is to graduate as an elite student, look for a good job, live a leisurely life in a remote town and find a beautiful wife to accompany him for the rest of his life.
He doesn't ask for too much, things like saving the world and defeating hidden bosses are better left to the heroines.
As long as the vision of this world is not strange and takes some end-of-the-world type route, good will triumph sooner or later and he just has to wait for the heroines to do the job.
When the subway reached his destination, Kyle had already forgotten about the old man and the strange doll, thinking that it was just a bad dream.
But what he doesn't know is that in his shadow a pair of heterochromatic eyes observe the outside world full of curiosity.

The meeting point is in a large square in front of the headquarters of the dark arts academy in Ekathe.
The place is very picturesque, with large green areas and large trees providing shade to visitors.
Along the way you can see several sculptures of famous graduates of the academy, as well as some decorative works of art.
In the most central part there is a large auditorium that turns out to be Kyle's destination.
But he arrived too late to hear the explanation of the rules and only found a crowd of students arguing about the exam.
It's all the fault of the recruiters who besieged him after leaving the station. He thought that he had gotten rid of these guys, but he didn't expect that the closer to the meeting point the more of them would appear.
And it wasn't just Kyle who encountered this problem, many of the students across the city experienced this same situation.
This caused a large part of the students not to receive the correct instructions about the exam and now they are in a dilemma.
The most sensible thing would be to ask other students but for some reason many of them refuse to talk or give useless information.
Kyle sat under the shade of a tree to rest while he thought about his next actions.
He is not very eager to start, the exam lasts a total of thirty days and only about six hours have passed, he still has a lot of time.
Lying on the grass, he watched the students passing by and then he saw her.
Wearing a thick white coat with black embroidery, both the collar and sleeves are fluffy, and overall it gives the feeling of being very warm.
He knows this coat, it was made by a famous tailor in his hometown and it cost him half of his savings.
He got up to reach her, but Qian Mei was faster and when Kyle started to look for her she was already in front of him.
The beautiful young woman has short stature and is completely covered by the large coat, her delicate oriental face is hidden under her elegant glasses and she has a classic double braid hairstyle.
She has a special temperament that makes Kyle unable to take his eyes off her, and coupled with the memories of her naked body the night before, she completely captivates him.
- I didn't expect us to meet again so soon. I'm glad to see you recovered.
- Umm thanks.
Qian Mei, who normally has a domineering attitude, is now extremely nervous and barely managed to articulate a few words.

Kyle reached out his hand unconsciously and stroked her head gently. The girl in front of her makes him feel very comfortable and he has an inexplicable need to take care of her.

- We haven't introduced ourselves properly, my name is Kyle Verant. You can call me Kyle, I come from a small country on the southern continent.
He extended his hand in friendship.

She wants to speak properly but her body doesn't allow it, which made her curse internally.
She doesn't want Kyle to think she's strange.
Ignoring Qian Mei's mental struggle, Kyle noticed fine beads of sweat on her face, which made him worry about her health.
It is around ten in the morning and unlike him who has just arrived, she must have been in the sunlight since very early.

Qian Mei was happy because she could spend more time with Kyle, without thinking too much she looked for a comfortable place and sat next to him.
The soft floral scent next to him surprised the distracted Kyle who had lain back down on the grass.
Wanting to hide his nervousness, he asked for the news about the exam.
- Mei, did you arrive at the meeting point on time?
The voice next to her made her feel embarrassed, although she acted impulsively and sat very close to Kyle, when Qian Mei came to her senses she realized how bold she was.
-Ehh!! Yeah.
It's not that Qian Mei wants to act like a shy girl, but her emotions are still very unstable due to the fusion of her soul with the original owner of her body.
And given the circumstances of her rescue, she is easily influenced by interactions with Kyle.
