Chapter 6: Chapter 5
The next morning
Joshua is sleeping on his bed, laying upside down with his head laying on the floor and blanket covering his one leg.
Lancelot:WAKE UP SCUM ,ITS TRAINING TIME!!!-said as Lancelot is fully dressed ,bed made and standing in a military position.-
Joshua springs up in shock and hides under the bed with his bushy tail still peaking out from under the bed. But then he sees it's Lancelot.
Joshua:Oh, it's just you.-said as he gets out from under the bed-
Lancelot:Get ready my Father will be training us ,So meet me by the training ground.-said as he leaves the room and heads to the training ground -
Joshua looks at his bed ,then at Lancelot's bed.
Joshua:guess I also have to do that.
Joshua makes his bed copying Lancelot's bed but it's full of creases and edges sticking out and the pillow is laying weirdly.
Joshua:Guess that will do it .-said as Joshua stands proudly. -
Joshua puts on his armour.
Joshua:Ok ,let's do this but where is the training ground?-joshua runs out of the room and begin searching for the training grounds-
Joshua runs around and runs into the laundry room were he sees Amy doing the laundry and a old man with grey hair and a grey beard, dressed in a funny suit.
Joshua:Who the hell are you?
Jonathan:I'm the Butler Jonathan of the noble house of Kaizer ,I wasn't here when you came because I was away on business,but it's good to make your acquaintance sir-said as he takes a bow-
Joshua:Auuh... yeah ,nice to meet you but do you know where is the training ground?
Jonathan:Amy can you lead him to the training grounds .Tiffany will take care of the laundry.
Amy:Yes sir.- said then Amy gives Joshua a dirty look.-
Amy: Follow me Sir.-As amy leads the way to the training grounds and Joshua follows -
Joshua:So how was your day?-Joshua said with a grin to annoy amy-
Amy:It was ok until you bothered me.-Amy said with a frustrated face-
Joshua sees a scar marking on her neck,it's a x marking with a circle as the border.
Joshua:I think I saw that mark before...
Before Joshua can finish his sentence Amy falls on the floor and begins to cower in the corner, Joshua tries to get closer.
Amy:GET AWAY FROM ME!!!-Shouted as sweat runs down her face in fear and she begins to cover her face-
Joshua stops moving closer.
Joshua:I just wanted to help.
Jonathan came running after he heard Amy screaming.
Jonathan:(I thought she would be over it already, he must of said something.My mistake Amy.)Joshua the training ground is out that exit. -He points towards the exit and gives Joshua a dirty look.-
Joshua walks to the exit.
Joshua:(Why does everyone look at me like I'm a monster ,that mark looked extremely familiar though ,I'll ask Lancelot about it.)
Joshua finally arrives at the training ground seeing Lancelot and a huge muscular man with blonde spiky hair .His face and body is full of scars .He also has a thick blonde beard and he is standing infront of Lancelot.
Joshua stands next to Lancelot.
Muscular man:WHY ARE YOU LATE AND ITS YOUR FIRST DAY!-He shouts-
Joshua tries to talk but he punches Joshua against his jaw sending him flying and hitting the sand in the training ground .Joshua gets up with blood pouring from his mouth.
Joshua: Lancelot never told me where the training ground was.-Joshua said as he tries to wipe the blood pouring from his mouth -
The muscular man dashes towards Joshua and in an instant he is infront of Joshua.
Muscular man:When you address me you call me Captain.-Then he hits Joshua with both his arms downwards causing Joshua to hit the ground hard causing him to be knocked out.
Muscular man: GET UP YOUNG KNIGHT!!
Joshua jumps up in shock and takes a military saluting stance next to Lancelot and sees Lancelot is bloody too.
Captain Percival:My name is Percival the head of the kaisen's family but you will call me Captain Percival or just Captain, Joshua from this day you are a noble knight, your life's mission is to protect the Main Kaizer family, it doesn't matter who you were before from now on you a knight, there will be no special treatment.Lancelot might be my son but I'll treat you guys equal but he have been training from a young age.So you can learn a lot from him ,if you stay frosty.
Captain Percival throws Joshua and Lancelot wooden swords.
Captain Percival:Lets Begin Knights.!
Joshua and Lancelot:YES, CAPTAIN!!-shouted in unison-
Merlin walks through the hallways and sees Amy as she walks past her but she has a depressed look on her face.
Merlin:Hey your name is Amy right?
Amy:Yes Mam.
Merlin:You don't have to call me mam, you can call me Merlin, what's wrong?
Amy:Nothing just having a bad day Merlin.
Merlin:Did Joshua do something stupid,I know he can be weird sometimes.
Merlin's words causes Amy's facial expression to change from sad to angry.
Amy:How could you live with a monster like that and call him your family!!
Merlin:Hey don't bad mouth my brother ,I don't know what he did but no one calls my brother a monster. -Merlin's facial expression changed from calm to serious.-
Amy:You insane!-Shouted then she runs away from Merlin crying.-
Merlin:(What the hell did Joshua do. I'm going have a long talk with him.)
Joshua and Lancelot are finished training in the afternoon and heads back to their room.
Joshua:Damn ,do you always train so hard,my muscles is aching.-Said as Joshua stretches.-
Lancelot:It will be worst Tommorow but yes we always train so hard ,you will get use to it over time.
They arrive at there room and sees Merlin standing at the door with a serious look on her face.
Merlin:Hello handsome -Said as she looks at Lancelot with a flirtatious smile.-
Joshua:Did you come here this to greet Lancelot.
Merlin:Joshua what did you do to Amy, she was very distraught.-said while her face becomes serious again.-
Joshua:I just mentioned her mark on her back and said it looked familiar and then she became that way.
Merlin:That's weird maybe she's a weirdo.
Lancelot:No , there's a reason for her reaction,if you know that mark that means you done something very unforgivable Joshua.
Joshua and Merlin looks at Lancelot confused.
Joshua:What do you mean?
Lancelot:Amy came from the slums and as you know the slums is a lawless area.
Merlin:But we also come from the slums.So what's the big deal.
Lancelot:No you wrong Merlin, Joshua is a noble he comes from the werewolf kingdom and not only the werewolf kingdom but the Noble house of Xeno the main werewolf house.
Merlin:But what's that got to do with Amy's reaction.
Lancelot:She was sold as goods on the black market to a noble werewolf house and she finally got sold to the Xeno main werewolf slaughter house with her family as you know werewolves nobles only eat humans to increase there strength, that is where she got her marking it was the mark they gave there livestock but then here family gave her chance to escape but they probably all died in the process .Jonathan found her in the slums ,raised her and that's how she began working here.
Joshua's face drops as he remembers were he saw that marking it was on his meat when he was eating at the noble house of xeno.
Joshua:I a..te her fa...mily .-joshua stutters and drops to the floor and begins to vomit continuously.-
And then Joshua passes out and wakes up on his bed and sees Merlin and Lancelot in the room.
Joshua:I am a monster, ain't I .
Merlin:You were a child you never knew any better.
Joshua:But I ate them and a lot of other people and enjoyed it. I'm a monster, monster, monster!-Joshua begins to go in a lucid state and keep chanting monster and as is mouth begins to foam and his eyes start becoming distorted.-
Lancelot walks over and punches Joshua against his head causing him to come back to his senses.
Lancelot:So what ,you made a mistake but what are you going to do now ,as a man and as a knight .
Joshuas lifts his hand up towards the ceiling and makes a fist.
Amy is cleaning the vomit outside his room while the door is closed .
Joshua:I pledge on my life from this day forward, I'll save all humans from the werewolves even if I have to kill all the werewolves!!!!!-Joshua screams his pledge loudly as he crys with mucus coming out of his nose.-
Merlin and Lancelot both smiles
Amy stumbles outside and begins to cry too after hearing Joshua's pledge .
Amy :(His not a monster after all.)-She takes her mop and bucket and walks off.-
From this day onwards,Joshua trained every morning with Lancelot and Captain Percival and got better at making his bed and in the afternoon he sat in the garden spending time with Blanchette drinking tea while Lancelot was running errands with Merlin in the human district.And at night Joshua trains in the training ground while Amy keeps him company.
