Chapter 15: Bloodline Awakens**
My mother was too shocked after I said the thing about bloodline.
It was expected. She had not known this thing for all her life even in my past life, so me suddenly knowing it definitely was a big shock.
She asked me how, what, when I got to know about such things and I had her sit down and explained everything to the best of my abilities.
Naturally, I learnt it from the Heaven's Library, but of course I couldn't tell her that. Just saying the words 'Heaven's Library' would get me noticed and even killed if they found something suspicious.
I was not a fool to mess with such types of people. I didn't know how strong the Heavenly Emperor was, but as of now, he was stronger than me so I wasn't going to take any chances.
I just mentioned to my mother that it was something I learnt during my awakening and that during the time I was unconscious.
What I said was full of holes and she didn't buy it, but she was smart enough to understand that I had my secrets and couldn't tell her that.
She didn't pester me on where I got the knowledge, but asked if it would really work or not.
I explained everything regarding it and the ritual we needed to perform to awaken ourselves.
Our bloodlines were something that belonged to two elven lovers who were supposedly gods.
The only way to awaken our bloodlines was to have sex with someone of the same race with their bloodline not mattering much.
It did not matter because there was something peculiar about each race and they had their own essence. It was a complicated topic altogether, but Race Essence was what made different races have an unique identity.
Two elves would have the same Race Essence while a demon would have something completely opposite.
Thus, as long as an elf was involved, we could awaken our bloodline.
However, elves were a rare race of people and the only shot at awakening the bloodline was due to… Well, one may have guessed it already by this point.
Those things aside, my mother and I complimented each other. I liked her as a woman too, so there was not a problem whatsoever.
Also, except for Race Essence, the bloodline of the other person did not matter much because ours was the strongest one out there.
It would overpower the bloodline of the other person and completely erase it when a child was being born. It was due to this that me and my siblings did not have the slightest bit of Ignis' bloodline within us.
Even if my mother had not done whatever she did before to conceive us, we three still would've been born with green hair and this bloodline.
Anyway, as stated, me, my mother, and my siblings shared the same Race Essence. We looked like humans on the outside, but we technically weren't.
Shoving aside my thoughts on this, I went ahead and discussed the preparation for the ritual happily with my mother.
It was going to be a good day today and I was anticipating it with great enthusiasm.
And also, the ritual had to be done in the midst of nature, right under the bright moonlight. The more serene the atmosphere, the better it was.
I said all these things to my mother and she immediately left to get them done.
While she was gone, I went to check up on Eve and then had some snacks.

It was midnight and we were back on the island where my mother had spent her pregnancy days.
It felt funny to me that despite my mother having so much money, we didn't choose a place in the Eastern Continent, but came here instead.
The Eastern Continent had a lot of forest area and looked like something that belonged to a typical Xianxia setting. It was great there, but yeah, this place was better.
My mother got me out of her body here, now she wanted me back as well in the same place. All her wishes were fulfilled and I didn't mind them. I loved her a lot, everything was excused for her.
A big mat was laid on the ground near the lake in the middle of the island. There was no one here but us and the rest of the islands were at a distance.
My mother and I both stood under the moonlight, hugging each other and staring at each other's eyes. I shared some heartfelt words with her and told her how much I loved her, while she did the same and we sealed it with a kiss.
My mother wore a one piece and I easily slid it off of her. She undressed me pretty quickly as well and in no time, we both were in our birthday suits.
I kissed her passionately without doing any more lewd things. As my slumbering dragon finally roared, I simply put her down on the mat and placed it in between her legs.
I rubbed my shaft along the lengths of her folds and giving her a look, she nodded, and without wasting time, I immediately plunged it in.
"Nnghhh."

My mother moaned out in pain as I broke through her tight insides in one go. She had not taken any one else's shaft inside of her or any object as a matter of fact. The impregnation also didn't need her to insert anything inside and she was definitely a virgin.
She lost her virginity to me and I lost mine to her now. It was a happy thing, but we didn't have time to waste.
The tribulation was upon us right now. The heavens were angry due to us awakening our bloodlines. It was unacceptable to go against their laws, but nothing could be done now.
My mother was aware of such a thing happening and she immediately got up and got dressed. Blood was still dripping out of her and I felt sorry for her first time being like this, but nothing could be done now.
We were both destined to suffer like this and couldn't enjoy things properly.
The tribulation arrived on this island after a while.
Using my authority, I teleported to a secluded region in the Eastern Continent and there, my mother fended off against the tribulation.
I could be of much help as this tribulation was way beyond me. If I tried to help, I'd perish immediately. My mother had to do things on her own now.
It was not a problem for her though. She was stronger than even the Patriarch of the Ignis family and with each passing second, her and my bloodline began waking up slowly and steadily.
The tribulation was pushed back slowly as our bloodline awakened and finally, when it was fully there, my mother survived through the tribulation and so did I.
We both sat together in a lotus position and focused on her bloodlines.
Our ears grew longer and pointy, our hair became much greener and rich. We both grew tall, my mother developed near perfect curves and had her breasts go get into perfect shape and not have any amount of sag.
As for me, I turned a little skinny, and other than that, had not much of an effect.
We turned into proper Elves after a while and could feel this new found power.
In my Mind Sea, there appeared a tree in the middle of everything that connected the sky and the sea together.
It was amazing.
I talked to my mother and she said she had the same type of tree with her as well.
We both then closed our eyes and slowly, we could feel the other person through this connection of the tree.
If I was not wrong, this was Tree of Life. It had the symbolism of interconnectedness as long as another person had it with them, we all could feel each other and work as one.
I could feel all sorts of emotions of my mother while she could feel mine. Of course, thoughts weren't shared and privacy was maintained. It was only a select few things we could tell about each other.
My mother walked up to me from behind and hugging me, bit onto my long pointy ears.
Nom!
Nibbling a bit on it, I felt really tingly and also good, but didn't voice it out and just stayed there, letting her do whatever she wanted.
She let go after a few seconds and asked, "Will we stay like this forever?"
I shook my head. "You can undo it by simply thinking about it. This is our true form, but because we are of an Emperor bloodline, we can decide on which form we want to live in."
This form was quite comfortable for me, but there were no Elves in this world and they won't be coming anytime soon. We both had to stay hidden until then.
My mother nodded and decided to turn into her human form, which happened right away.
When she got into it, she scrunched her nose and said, "This feels uncomfortable."
"Yes. But nothing can be done now."
My mother giggled. "It's fine. Anyway, let's go back home. I have yet to ask you how you brought us two here."
I smiled and without saying a word, took her back home.
Our long night had only just begun.
