Chapter 30: Leo’s Challenge

The fatty dumpling man was flabbergasted with two young masters suddenly bargaining for his dumplings.

The short dude and his henchmen were shocked too as they had never been through such a situation before.

"You! Do you not know who our young master Jing is?" One of the henchmen of the short dude exclaimed.

Leo ignored the guy and turned to the dumpling man. "Pack all the dumplings, I'll give you the money right away."

The short dude and his henchmen turned red in anger. Let alone feeling afraid, this green haired bastard had the audacity to ignore them!?

"You'll pay for offending this young master!" The short dude walked right in front of Leo and yelled.

Leo looked at him, then frowned. "This young master doesn't waste his time with kids. Go drink some milk, they'll help you grow."

"Baaaaaahhhhhh!" The short dude looked up at the sky and yelled. The audacity! The audacity! The audacity of this green bastard! He'll pay for it!

Looking at him get so worked up, Leo scrunched his nose and said, "Kids should not shout like that. Your body is growing, you'll end up damaging your premature vocal cords."

"WHO'S A KID!?" The short dude, Jing, roared.

"Gosh, who left this sassy and loud kid alone?" Leo looked around and asked.

"Enough is enough! Bastard, I challenge you!" Jing yelled again.

Leo sighed. He then turned to Eve and putting his arms around her shoulders, said, "My butler is shorter than me, but still taller than you. Do you wish to fight him? Or do I visit an elementary school and hire a kid for the challenge?"

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh!" Jing pulled his hair and screamed at the sky, his eyes turning bloodshot. Never! Never in his goddamn life had he ever been this insulted!

"I'll kill—"

"Haiz, kid. It seems you're not going to leave me. Fine, I accept your challenge, but I'll set the challenge rules and what the challenge is. Do you accept?" Leo interrupted the guy and said.

Leo had his dialogues timed properly to mess with the guy's mind and have him accept any of his conditions in the heat of the moment.

"Why would I do that!?" Jing roared. Even though he was seething with rage, he still retained some rationality.

Leo was slightly surprised by it, but said, "If you don't accept, then I'll just take it that you're afraid of getting beaten up by me. Anyway, stop wasting my time now. Dumpling man, gimme the dumplings."

Leo didn't bother to look at him again and demanded the dumplings.

"Aaaaahhhhhh!" The guy looked at the sky and screamed again while pulling his hair. "I HATE YOU, YOU BASTA—"

Leo took some dumplings out of the dumpling man's bamboo containers and threw it in the guy's mouth, filling it and shutting him up.

The guy almost choked, but recovering, the steamy hot soup of the soup dumpling burned his mouth.

"Hauff! Hauff! Haffuguhuhuhfffghu!" Jing, with his exaggerated huffing and puffing, tried his best to cool down the food in his mouth and eat it up.

Leo got some peace for a few seconds and when Jing had finished gulping down the food, he breathed heavily.

Jing then turned to Leo and stared at him angrily, though he didn't shout this time because he didn't want food to be thrown into his mouth again.

However, he wouldn't lie, the dumplings sure were tasty.

A new conviction swelled up within Jing and he was not going to let these dumplings go.

His fiancé had specifically asked him to get dumplings from this vendor and there was no way he wasn't going to get it.

Cultivators weren't allowed to fight publicly or do anything in public that could make the people aware that cultivators were real and they too could easily become one.

To maintain the proper status quo, this was important.

Due to this, Jing had not outright used his powers and attacked Leo. He could do nothing but roar angrily at the sky because he had no idea how to vent his anger in any other way.

Though, the dumplings that he just ate, they calmed him down a bit and made him realize that he would not get any dumplings at this rate if this situation persists.

Thus, being somewhat rational, he said to Leo, "I accept whatever challenge you have. But add another condition to it. If this young master wins, you'll kowtow and apologize for your wrongs."

Leo looked at him and smirked. "And what do I get if I win?"

"The dumplings, obviously," said Jing.

Leo rolled his eyes. "That I'll be getting even without you bothering me. How about this? If I win, you're going to become this young master's servant for a week."

"What!?" Jing exclaimed.

"Young master…" one of Jing's henchmen walked up to him and whispered in his ears. "…Your fiancé called. She's asking what's taking so long."

Jing's expression turned grave hearing that.

He immediately turned to look at Leo and said, "One hour, this young master will be your servant for one hour"

"Eight days," Leo didn't budge and said.

Jing frowned. "One day."

"Nine days," Leo said with a smile.

"Fuck! Fine!" Jing spat out angrily. There was no way he was going to lose so why was he even bargaining in the first place!? He thought and accepted the conditions.

Leo smiled widely. "Good. Let's start with the challenge then."

"What's the challenge?" Jing asked while all the people around the dumpling stall looked at Leo, wondering what challenge he was talking about.

Leo wiped off the smile from his face and said calmly, "It's simple. We both will go stand on the wall separating the Market District with the nearby forest and…"

Everyone listened intently without interrupting Leo.

Leo stared right into Jing's eyes and continued, "…and see who can pee the farthest."

"Oka— WHAT!?" Jing almost stumbled down.

The rest of the people around felt they didn't properly hear what Leo had said and stared at him with a dumbfounded expression.

Leo smiled. "What? You want to back away now? Well… I am sure you should. With how short you are, that thing is probably as tiny as a needle."

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" Jing looked up and roared at the sky, pulling a good amount of hair from his head. "I WILL KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!"

Jing had never been this humiliated in his life and really wanted to kill Leo right away. If stares could kill someone, Leo would've died a thousand times now. Jing was just that angry.

If it weren't for his henchmen holding him back, he would've already attacked Leo here and now.

Leo looked at him and said simply, "Kid, if you don't want to accept the challenge, get lost. My dumplings are getting cold."

"Young master Jing… dumplings can't be lost…" one of the henchmen whispered in Jing's ears.

That was true. Miss fiancé couldn't be offended as that would cause a great deal of damage to not just Jing, but even his own parents as this marriage was important.

Jing was really angry right now, but he swallowed his anger and said to Leo, "I accept your challenge. Add another condition that if I win, you're going to walk around the city naked."

Leo shrugged. "I can add it, as long as you do it too if you lose."

"This young master is not afraid!" Jing roared.

Leo smiled. "Good then. Let's sign a contract and get going."
