Chapter 3: Reminisce II
*End of flashback*
Adriane's POV
Me, remembering that, i was near tears, but I am not gonna cry, no not me. But i could feel the pressure behind my eyes, so I needed to use the restroom.
I stood up from my seat and walked towards the teacher, my least favorite teacher, ugh, Mr. Vlad. Legendary name, to a guy who is a legend. Yeah, a legend in making fantasians and humans, sleep.
Jeez, how does a person, a vampire, do that. But i asked, nicely, "Sir, please can i get a hall pass, i need the bathroom". He ignored me, me! Ok, no one ignores ME!
Everyone knows this day, that one this day, you do not make me mad, I'm nice on this day, but that doesn't mean, get on my nerves.
I felt the anger rising, i subsided it, then asked again, with clenched teeth,"sir, can I get a pass?". He turned, then went back to his lesson labelled BORING! I could feel my fangs growing longer in my mouth, and my classmates were looking at me, then the teacher then me.
Huh, warning signals.
He looked at me and i could see the reflection of my glowing blue eyes in his eyes. He gulped and gave me the pass. I smiled then walked out. That always works. I smiled to myself, then remembered why i needed it, then ran out with the sadness in my eyes.
I reached the bathroom and bawled my heart out, then went back to the class with my red puffy eyes, and sat down. I was dejected till lunch.
After this, i had.....Science! I smiled at the thought. Haa, finally, my favorite subject. And we just started Chemistry, so, yeah, its nice.
When i entered the lunch room, there was a silence, then the noise resumed. I don't why that happens, but whatever.
I sit beside my one and only friend, Vivian, who is at the table with the new students. Yes, the freshmen. New vampires, werewolves,witches, and humans. They all are and chatted together. It was nice.
I sat next to her and said, "Hey!, how was English?" I asked,even though i knew she hated it.
"We studied vocab, and i abhorred it", she drawled out, with a groan at the end. "Well, your grammar has certainly taken a turn". "What are you inferring by this?", she asked, clearly confused.
The freshmen at the table giggled, and looked knowingly at me. So they got it, but she didn't.
Hm.
"Anyways", i said turning to the young students before me, "When did you resume?". A little witch with a small wart on her cheek spoke, "Well, today, and Senior Vivian is nice, she's so cool. I've never met a cool human before. They all just want to dump me in oil, its kinda sad".
It is sad, i just wish there would be peace for once. It would be very much appreciated.
A girl, she looked about 12/13 years, with red browline glasses and brown, almost red eyes, she looked like a nerdy vampire spoke up "I know you", she pointed at me, "Adriane Athanasia, Varon for a day, older sister to Kieran Athanasia, but you are biologically Varons, Athanasia is a name given to you due to your reputation, when your parents died, which is today, making five years since their death, am i right?"
Wait, how the heck did she know that?! I narrowed my eyes to her, "Are you stalking me? Or is it my brother?", "None, i just know", she said, smirking, but it didn't reach her eyes. Hey i saw that. I thought vampires could only read human minds, she must be special.
The lunch bell rang and i needed to get to Mutations, yay!
"Bye, Vivian and what's your name", i said looking at The Special One, "Its Rose, Crimson Rose". "Ok, thanks, maybe we talk tomorrow, I'd love to know more about you" "No thanks, you are going back to Athanasia tomorrow aren't you?, Well I'm not going to be present"
She flicked hair and brushed me off, Ok, rude. Not Nerdy Vampire
Miss Know-it-all, Sassy Vampire
I headed down to the Fantasia Mystic High (FMH) hall with Rose and the other Fantasian freshman, while Vivian left the humans to the Human Mystic High (HMH) hall in the opposite direction.
There was a crowd gathering near the parking lot. I scanned the area, male werewolves and male and female vampires. I asked a werewolf, "what's going on?"
He answered me almost immediately, "There's a new kid, a human. He's rich and brought a Bugatti, a flipping Bugatti La Voiture Noire!"
I groaned mentally, a rich human guy? Nope, today was just ruined for me. I left the scene and headed to my Chemistry Class.
I greeted my favorite teacher, Miss Tasha. Apart from the fact she teaches my favorite subject, she is the one who cares for my family the most and and, yeah she's a werewolf, and attractive one at that, she still makes sure I'm in a good mood.
"Hi, miss", i said to her with a smile. "Well, hello Adria, how are you doing today?" "Fine thanks"
Also, she's on of the people i allow to call me Adria. I took out my Chemistry book, still in mint condition.
The late bell rang, and the class started. Yes! Mutation!
As the class progressed, the head teacher came in whispering to Miss Tasha, signalling outside.
"I'll be back class, make sure to finish the exercise", she said hurriedly and left the class.
What the heck?! She never left a class! What the heck was going on?
A few minutes later, while i was in the middle of reading Bitten Contract, she came in with a colored guy dripping rich clothes. Literally, white and gold.
I was getting a bad feeling.
"Class, this is Ade Arison, a new stud-" He cut her off. "I do not want to be in this f*cking class!" Ade cut her off, He cut her off!
I didn't know when i stood up but i found myself shouting out of anger, "How dare you?! You self-entitled brat, when Miss Tasha's talking, never in your stupid life think to interrupt her! Got it?!" I poked his chest while frowning.
