"Do not test my patience, Goddess Hestia," I started emitting a slight bloodlust.

"Xain, Hestia. please stop fighting," Bell intervened in our little banter.

"AH, Bell how are you, are you hurt anywhere?" Hestia berated Bell with questions.

"Don't worry, Goddess Hestia, I'm alright. I'm just a little tired," Bell reassured Hestia and turned his attention to me.

"Thank you for distracting the monster," Bell thanked me.

"It is natural to help you grow more, so do not thank me," I plainly said while crossing my arms.

"Ah, right, Bell told me you were his teacher, is that?" Hestia asked.

"Indeed, I accepted him as my student; his heroic spirit piqued my interest."

"Then are you an adventurer?"

"I'm this city; being an adventurer means killing beasts. Then I am just a former adventurer," I explained.

"Then, what familia were you from?"

"Familia?"

"Did you not have a god before?" Hestia asked, and I wanted to answer, but Hestia fainted on the spot.

"GODDESS HESTIA!" Bell caught Hestia and called her name over and over, hoping for an answer.

"Bell, stop calling her; she is just exhausted. Take her somewhere to rest," I ordered Bell.

"What about you? Aren't you going to join?" Bell asked, confusedly.

"Someone is going to need to report this to the guild, no?" I argued.

"Ri-Right, see you later, Xian. Thanks again for the help." Bell carried Hestia into the nearest inn to rest in, and their figures quickly disappeared.

Picking the purple stone up from the beast's body, I moved from where I was standing, landing on a roof behind a hooded figure that had been watching us for a very long time.

"Tell me, was it fun watching us fight, Syr?" The hooded figure jumped a little and turned around, revealing her face that did not resemble Syr.

"My, my, you are mistaking me for the wrong person," she said.

"Even if you change your face and voice, you cannot change your soul, Syr," I emitted my bloodlust.

"Fine, fine, you got me. Ugh, why is the first person to find me out a blind person? Are you truly blind?" Syr took off her hood, revealing her face.

"So who truly are you?" I questioned her and started emitting more of my bloodlust.

"Calm down, there's no need for threats. I'm going to answer all of your questions," Syr quickly tried to calm my bloodlust.

"Ahem, as you know I'm Syr, but I'm also called Freya, the Goddess of beauty," Freya explained.

"Beauty? All I see is an awful soul. Was it you who caused the mayhem?" I commented.

"Yes, I directed Silverback at Hestia," Freya admitted.

"Why is that?"

"I despise Hestia and Bell's relationship, and I wanted to mess with them," Freya clenched her fists.

"I see, if that is what you want, then I will let you be for now," I said and started walking away.

"Wait? you're not going to stop me?" Syr looked at me with perplexed eyes.

"If what you pose to Bell is a villain, then so be it. Bell wants to be a hero. But what happens to the hero when they meet with no challenges?" I looked back at Syr.

"They become arrogant due to their consecutive victories, weak due to their lack of need to train, and ultimately defeated and meet their demise when faced with a power stronger than them," I explained.

"Oh, Freya! What are you doing on the roofs?" someone called from below. Looking over, I saw Ais with a red-haired man.

Syr and I jumped down to the both of them.

"Oh, is she one of your servants?" the red-haired man asked, looking at me.

"How presumptuous to call this heaven-ugly goddess my master. I would be more content for a newborn to be my master," I scoffed and crossed my arms.

"Also, it is nice meeting you again, Ais, but the time we meet this time seems unfit for a normal chat," I greeted Ais.

"Ohh Ais, you know her? Who is she?" the red-haired man looked over to Ais.

"Yes. I met her while she was shopping for some ingredients for Hostess of Fertility," Ais briefly explained.

"Hoh? You work at Hostess of Fertility?"

"Indeed, I'm currently working at Hostess of Fertility. My name is Xián yǎ," I introduced myself.

"Ah, where are my manners? My name is Loki, goddess of mischief," Loki introduced herself.

"Goddess?" I looked at her with confusion.

"Hah? What else do you think I am?"

"I apologize, but with your lack of chest, I mistook you for a man."

"Ugh," Loki took massive mental damage.

"Pfff," Syr tried to hide her laugh but failed.

"Aggg, Freya, why did you laugh?!" Loki became enraged by Syr's laugh.

"Ah, sorry, Loki, why did you come here on the empty alleyway?" Syr tried to divert the topic.

"Right, there was a monster breakout, and we heard someone saw one of the monsters headed in this direction," Loki explained but looked at the giant stone in my hand; she could guess how the monster had ended up.

"Well, it seems the monster is taken care of. Let's go report back to the guild," Loki said.

"Also, you need to come with me as well; you need to be there because you have the stone," Loki looked at me.

"Alright, it's not like monsterphilia would be continuing in the evening," I sighed and followed them.

"Oh right, Freya, you forgot something," I called out to Syr, who was walking away.

"Here," I gave her the purse that she lost in the pub.

"This? Thanks," Syr thanked me and continued walking away.

I quickly followed Loki and Ais to the guild building.

"So you're telling me, the adventurer Bell Cranel with only a couple of weeks' experience killed the Silverback, and our witness is this blind woman. C'mon, I know you guys are the Loki familia, but at least make the lies believable," a man wearing a formal suit sat across from us and massaged his head.

"Even with my eyesight impaired, that does not mean I cannot see; for example, your topmost suit is not buttoned up," I pointed to the button that was not correctly buttoned up; he looked down and saw indeed that it was not buttoned up.

"Al-alright, you convinced me. If you say that Bell Cranel truly killed Silverback, then we need to check his status again to see if there is any abnormality," the man scratched his head and sighed deeply, dreading the amount of paperwork that would need to be done.

Exiting the guild building, we separated our ways and came back to Hostess of Fertility. In the middle of going upstairs, I saw Bell and Syr talking.

Syr came close to Bell's ear and whispered, "And you charmed me," making Bell blush and quickly escape, going downstairs with the excuse of helping the pub, leaving Bell stunned.

Going up the stairs, Bell saw me and quickly greeted me.

"Good evening, Xian, how did the guild report go?" Bell asked.

"Good evening, Bell. The report went smoothly. How is Hestia?" I questioned him.

"Oh, Goddess Hestia is currently sleeping," Bell explained.

"Good, that goddess is annoying to deal with."

"We-well, try to be nice to her, and she will be nice to you as well," Bell explained.

"Well, if you do not need anything else, then I will go to sleep. Farewell," I said goodbye to Bell and did my usual routine before going to sleep.
