Chapter 31: Celebration
Electricity died, as it rained, and it is in the middle of the night as I writing this, and my phone battery is low, what a perfect situation where a ghost invade my privacy. Hello darkness my old friend

Xian's instincts went into overdrive as Bell's dagger traveled toward her. She instantly parried the dagger with the broken katana and pushed him back with a palm strike.
"Xian-san, are you okay?" Bell's face was filled with worry.
"You would need to train harder if you want to injure me," Xian remarked, looking at the broken katana in her hand and then back at Bell.
"Sorry for breaking that, I could buy another-"
"It's useless. Any regular weapon will break under my use." The only reason Hephaestus's Katana lasted is because it was very durable, a perfect balance between durability and sharpness, as expected from the goddess of the smith. But ordinary weapons will stay ordinary no matter the circumstances.
"Don't worry about buying a replacement. I can create a blade of my own."
"O'Ice, listen to my call, In your frozen realm, I stand tall. Shape my desire, bend my will, With icy power, my purpose fulfill." Xian visualized a blade made out of ice, and suddenly, ice formed at the broken blade, mimicking the design of the katana.
"Shall we continue?" Xian asked, and Bell replied with only a battle stance. Their training continued

Returning back to the Hostess of Fertility, I saw all of the employees present, with each of them doing a different task. They all simultaneously looked at me as the doorbell rang.
"Oh, Xian, welcome back," Mama Mia said from the kitchen. I greeted all of them as I went upstairs to change into my Hostess of Fertility outfit.
Returning back to the pub, I quickly joined everyone else as I did my job.
"So, nya? Why were you wearing such a beautiful dress? Gasp, don't tell me our Xian's eyes caught someone, nya," Anya started to talk as the others secretly eavesdropped on us.
'This group likes to gossip, huh?' I realized too late of how hopeless this group is.
"Don't talk nonsense. That outfit is only for practical purposes, and no, I will not date anyone ever."
"C'mon, don't lie. We all know you're interested in Bell," Anya said it like it's a matter of fact.
"..." I stayed quiet, as it is impossible to convince this group otherwise. Wasting energy to deny it will tire me sooner."

- Bell's POV -
I went inside the guild with Lili in tow and approached Eina's desk. The guild was filled with adventurers excited to dive into the dungeon.
"Good morning, Bell," Eina greeted me with her usual smile.
"Good morning!" I eagerly greeted back with a huge grin, but Lili stayed quiet as usual.
"Do you bring good news?" Eina asked, looking at me like she's stating the obvious.
"Did my grin give it away that much?" I scratched my cheek in embarrassment.
"Yes, I also bring good news as well. The Soma Famillia has been charged with mistreatment of members, extortion against other famillias, and found the cause of it to be the god Soma has been ignoring his famillia's situation. They are ordered to be reformed and given a new leader, or be disbanded completely," Eina explained the situation as I sighed in relief that a famillia like that would be no more, at least one famillia like that.
"Also, you won't believe this, but I leveled up to level 2!" I said as Eina processed what I said and shouted in surprise.
"HAAA, you're saying you leveled up in a month and a half!?!" Eina's exclamation grabbed the attention of everyone. She covered her mouth as she realized what she had done.
"That kid is already level 2 in a month and a half! You must be joking."
"A second genius like the Sword Princess."
"What's with these geniuses, man? What do they have that I don't?" one adventurer muttered (Author: Plot armor. now go be a protagonist somewhere else, shoo shoo).
"Let me see your back. I want to verify it and report it to the guild."
- Hestia's POV -
Standing in the middle of the party, I took a sip of my drink as every god and goddess waited for the alias to be announced. Feeling a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw Takemikazuchi.
"Oh, nice to see you, Takemikazuchi." I raised my hand forward, and Takemikazuchi did the same to toast to this event.
"A little bird told me your familia member reached level two within a month and a half," he asked.
"Yeah, awesome, right?" I puffed up my chest with pride.
"Congratulations! Breaking the Sword Princess's record by a long shot. This is due for a celebration." Takemikazuchi raised his glass in joy.
"Attention, everyone!" Finally, the alias was about to be distributed.

- Bell's POV -
I was slumped on the table as I recalled what my alias was after Goddess Hestia came back from the familia myth event.
"Wisp?" Lili repeated my alias. We were currently at the Hostess of Fertility to celebrate my leveling up. "That's... lame," Lili admitted.
"Well, better than the other choice, at least, which is 'Little Rookie,'" I had to admit I got a better alias than the other option.
"Congratulations on leveling up," Ryuu broke our conversation, along with Syr and Xian, and congratulated me.
"As expected from my student," Xian nodded and joined us at the table as Ryuu and Syr joined along.
"A worthy celebration, indeed!" Syr cheerfully said.
"Don't you guys have work?" I questioned the three of them, as I didn't want to get Mama Mia mad.
"Don't worry, Mama Mia let us celebrate with you. She said you can eat to your heart's content, but honestly, I think she just wants you to spend more money," Syr explained and grabbed one of the beers she brought.
"Toast to Bell!" She exclaimed as Ryuu and Xian joined along. Syr distributed the beer to me and Lili, but remembering what happened last time, I refrained from drinking.
"Hello, ladies, what about warming my bed tonight?" An adventurer walked over to our table and invited Xian and Ryuu, his eyes specifically ogled Xian's body, but both of them ignored him, leaving him embarrassed and angered.
- 3rd POV -
"There goes another lad," one adventurer muttered pitifully as he looked at the angry adventurer.
"What will happen to him?" An adventurer sitting beside him asked.
"It is a hidden rule to not try to force yourself into Ryuu and Xian, especially Xian."
"Huh why, isn't she blind?" The adventurer looked at Xian in confusion.
"Once two adventurers followed Xian as she looked sick, but the day after that, their bodies were never found. The only remaining thing left of their presence was husks unrecognizable even as human, wearing their armor. But there was no clear evidence that it was Xian, so they couldn't arrest her."
"And also, there was one adventurer who followed her upstairs to her room, but he never came back. People said they could hear a scream from upstairs but didn't want to investigate, as it was only his fault for following her."
"Blind women are scary, man," he sipped his drink and minded his own business, trying not to involve himself with Xian.
*Smack* A table slam was heard, and they saw the unconscious adventurer with Xian and Ryuu's hands on his head. They continued their business, not minding the fact they had just knocked out an adventurer on the ground.
Xian gracefully took a sip of her drink as redness gradually filled her cheeks, but her demeanor stayed the same.
'This body is weak to alcohol,' she muttered inwardly and looked at the others who were enjoying the moment.
'Hmm, maybe being a little careless will be okay for today.' She took another sip, but she would regret this day of carelessness, especially around alcohol.

After the closing of the Hostess of Fertility, two figures remained passed out on the table: Xian and Bell. Xian had taken it upon herself to be a little careless, and Bell had drunk under the pressure of others.
"Wake up," Mama Mia approached them and shook Xian. She woke up rather quickly, but it was clear she was not fully awake.
"Go and take a rest," Mama Mia pointed to the stairs, and Xian quietly got up.
"Take Bell with you as well. He needs to sleep somewhere but not here." Xian picked up Bell and carried him over her shoulder like a potato sack. She wobbly walked up the stairs and entered her room, both collapsing on the bed and sleeping next to each other.
"Hot," Xian muttered thoughtlessly and began to take off her clothes.
Tomorrow will be a surprise to both of them.
