Chapter 2: 2. Two Weeks Ago
AIRA GASPED for the air. She's been swimming non-stop for almost one-hour. Her body felt so numb from post-gym workout. And she saw the time. It's almost seven. And the sun was setting, leaving a hue of purplish colour on the sky, spraying the dark blue paint on it.
She chose this gym because it has a spacious swimming pool on the rooftop. She loves to go there even though it's quite a distance from her place and her company. She always feel so alive each time she swim. She saw Andreas approached her as soon as she grabbed the steel ladder. She realised that he doesn't have to workout here, his condominium complex has those facility already.
"Hey," Andreas waved at her.
"Sup?" Aira asked back.
"I know you're hitting on me," Andreas said proudly as he looked down on her body. She's wearing a set of pink bikini that barely covers her body.
Aira lost her grip out of surprise as she slipped on the ladder and fell back into the pool. "I hate you," she coughed hard as she floated on the pool.
"Yeah?" Andreas smiled sweetly. "Because I know you don't hate me when we're alone."
Aira rolled her eyes and climbed out of the pool, She ignored him and dried herself up using her huge pink towel.
"Wanna get a ride?" He asked.
"Not tonight," she sighed.
Aira picked her stuff in the locker after showering. She tucked her short shorts and tank top, didn't even bother to dry her hair or put on her makeup. She's too beat up to do so and she just wanted to crash down in her bed and went to sleep. But she still had to walk and took her MRT back to her small studio apartment. She regretted it. She should've took his offer. But she couldn't be bothered to do that.
