Chapter 50: boy dead
"Mia!?" Arthur stared at the white-haired girl before him with disbelief.
"Tsk," Mia clicked her tongue in annoyance. She had aimed her shot at the bastard's head to end his life, but her accuracy was not good as it hit his back instead. She raised her hand once more, and she fired more spells.
Swish! swish!
"What are you doing!!" He exclaimed as he slashed at the shards of ice that were coming his way. His expression changed from one of shock at seeing Mia here to one of rage and confusion when he realized that she was assisting the goblins. "Have you lost your mind!? Why are you helping those goddamn goblins??"
"Ugh!! Can you just shut up and die?" It enraged her just to look at this bastard. Almost every day that she was in the city, he would bother her nonstop. Her discomfort with leaving her home was heightened by the fact that this creepy bastard stalked her every day and never left her alone. She had chosen to become an adventurer partly because of this—to stay away from this stalker.
Pointing at the human encircled by them, Mia gave an order to the goblins. "Garw Garw!!" (what are you guys doing?! Kill him already!!)
Garw!!
The goblins listening to her command all lung forward at the human with the intent to shred him into pieces.
"You fucking green-skinned beast!! DO YOU THINK YOU COULD TAKE ME DOWN!?" Despite his wounds, Arthur charged forward against the goblins, his body trembling with rage from the betrayal he felt seeing the girl, whom he had been chasing after, wanting nothing but for him to die.
Garw!!!

Stab!
"AHHHHH!!!"
Goblins drove their short swords into the hands and legs of a bloodied figure that lay screaming on the ground.
"HOW DARE YOU!!" He screams at the white-haired girl before him.
"DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD I TRIED TO FIND YOU!?" He glared at her with rage and hatred. After chasing after her and being rejected several times, he never gave up. Even after she had disappeared, he tried to find her. And this is what he got back in return? 'This bitch!'
"Hmph! Do you think I care? I would rather you not try to find me. You even caused trouble, my husband," Mia snorted, looking at the boy with disdain.
"Husband? You are calling me a goblin husband? You fucking sl—-!!"
Bang!!
Mia smacked his face with her staff. "You are so noisy for a person who is about to die!"
"Garw Garw" (kill him, but make sure to do it slowly!) Mia ordered the goblins and then watched from the side as they resumed stabbing the human.
"You—ARGHHHHH!!!"
For a while, the only sounds that could be heard were the screams of a man in agony and the disturbing laughter and giggling of a human girl.
…
"Garw Garw?" (So do you understand what you have to do?) Leo said as he stared at the kneeling human.
"Yes…" Tanos responds, his body quivering with humiliation at having to bow down to a goblin.
"Garw Garw" (good) Leo nodded and cast a sidelong glance at the battlefield, where things seemed to have come to an end. A line of humans and wolf-humans with their hands bound together, absent of their armor and weapons, could be seen as goblins surrounded them.
Garw!! (Move!)
Garw!! (Go Go!)
Goblins growl with whips in their hands, striking those that are slowing down. Those who tried to flee were easily caught by the goblins and were beaten up for trying to escape.
"Um, goblin sir, I have a request," Tanos asked the goblin in a polite tone.
"Garw Garw" (What is human?) Leo said, turning his eyes back at the man.
"Will it be okay for you to free some men?" Tanos requested and quickly explained the reason right away. "It will be quite difficult for me to complete the task you have given me without helpers; I will need some manpower."
"Garw Garw." (Mmmmm, that makes sense.) Leo nodded before signaling to a few goblins with his hand. He gave them the order to pick out the captured individuals who appeared the weakest and bring them here.
The goblin quickly got to work and picked out some humans from the line. Although the humans tried to resist, the goblins swung their whips, whipping them until they followed what the goblins wanted them to do.
"Garw Garw" (Here take these humans; the others I will be keeping.) Leo said as he handed Tanos 10 of the captured humans.
"This…" Tanos could see without a doubt that the goblins had given him the humans on the weaker side among the humans they had captured. He was aware that accepting this result was the wisest course of action at this point, but he nevertheless made the risky decision to ask the goblin for another favor.
"Goblin, sir, if you don't mind, could you please release my son as well?" Tanos said, still in a bowing position.
"Garw" (your son?)
"Y-yes"
As he waited for the goblins to respond, sweat trickled down his brow. He hoped the goblin would comply and not become upset at his request.
"My apologies, but your son is already dead." A soft voice giggled evilly.
"!!"
As he turned to face the source of the voice, he was shocked and in disbelief to see the missing mage girl grinning broadly at him and dragging something.
Dragged by the collar by Mia was Arthur. He was long dead, and his body, which was previously in a bad state, had become a bloody mess, with all his teeth broken, multiple stabs all over his body where flesh could be seen, and bruises all over his body. For several minutes, the goblins that had been ordered by her painfully tortured Arthur slowly to death, while she watched the whole thing from the sidelines with an extremely satisfied smile.
"Garw Garw" (Welp looks like your son is dead), Leo said with indifference. He wouldn't have released the human's son anyway, even if he was still alive.
'Damn it!' Tanos cursed inwardly; he had thought he would be able to save his son, but things never went the way he wanted.
"Garw Garw'' (Now then, is there anything else you have to say?) The goblin gave him an icy glare as if to indicate that he was tired of listening to his request or anything else.
"..." He remained silent, not saying anything, even after just witnessing his son's death.
"Garw Garw" (heh, that's what I thought, I will take my leave. You better do the task I have given you) Leo smirked and walked away.
Tanos was about to breathe a sigh of relief when the goblin suddenly halted.
"Garw Garw" (Oh, right!)
'Now what?!'
"Garw Garw" (Just to be safe, I should probably keep you guys' lips shut too.) Leo sneered as he approached the humans that he had released.
The humans all took a step back as their bodies trembled in fear. They didn't know what the goblin was going to do, but they knew it was definitely not a good thing!
"S-stay aw–AHH!!!"
