Chapter 9: [] Chapter nine : I'm pathetic
The white radiant light enveloped her entire being, and her body started shrinking at the naked eye, soon taking the shape of a voluptuous woman's body.
"Another beauty?" he thought while looking at the transformation. He didn't have the time to see the transformation back then as he wasn't expecting it, but this time he could see it again.
"Oh, I see you are a scumbag too," she said. Suddenly, her body shape started changing again, and the voluptuous body outline became tall like a man's!
The white light disappeared, revealing the real appearance.

Standing before him was an elderly man with a smug expression on his face. He had a pair of piercing blue eyes and flowing white hair, making an imposing figure.
He couldn't help but feel the urge to face that smug face in the face. "You shocked, brat? Hoho, you thought it was some good-looking beauty, didn't you? Hehe. It seems you are a pervert too," the old man started laughing, and the sweet voice changed into a deep manly voice.
He gritted his teeth as he was caught off guard.
"Haha, don't fry your brain cells. Let's fight, shall we? It's been a long time since I fought with a soul-type celestial, and a new one! Haha, I can modify you and make a perfect training dummy!"
The old man's eyes started glowing with blue light, his hair changed to red crimson color, and a powerful shockwave emanated from his body, rippling through the air. In an instant, the shockwave reached him and directly hit his face.
He quickly regained his senses and focused himself.
[ Battle mode Activating]
All colors vanished from his sight, leaving only the piercing blue light emanating from the old man's eyes and the flowing red hair.
"Hmm, that's the spirit," the old man muttered, and a katana appeared in his hand. He quickly realized that it exactly looked like his katana.
"Come at me with everything you've got. Let me see how strong you are first. I already generated my Domain here. Your qi won't run out," the old man said with a cold gaze. The atmosphere changed, and the playfulness disappeared.
He knew those eyes. The old man had become serious, and the arrogance was just a facade to confuse the enemy.
His legs started shining with a blue glow. Holding his katana firmly, he dashed towards the old man and performed a slash on his neck area.
He could see his weapon reaching the old man at frightening speed, but he soon realized something. A mischievous smile spread across the old man's cold face. In that split second, he swiftly vanished, leaving him off-balance and his strike landing on empty air.
—Clink!
A chill ran down his spine. He quickly turned around, only to find the old man smirking, his katana's tip now pressed against his throat, and blood slowly coming out.
"Pathetic. Here I thought you had some skills. Seeing you can easily control your mindset," the old man sneered.
His whole focus was on the old man's face and his glowing blue eyes. The words echoed through his mind like a ringing bell.
The old man slowly retreated his katana and turned around. "Heh, what to expect from a lower realm."
Meanwhile, he looked at the old man's back, crimson-red hair glowing in the air. The words were still crystal clear in his mind.
Unconsciously, he looked up at the sky, the clouds were floating, but soon, the clouds started becoming darker and darker, spinning as if they were reflecting the turmoil within him.
The old man didn't say anything, but if one looked closer, one could see a smile blooming on his face.
"A hahaha, yes, I'm pathetic. But I won't stay that way for long." His legs started glowing, and his surroundings faded away. The only thing in his vision was the old man.
The old man turned slowly. He unsheathed his katana once again, which still had traces of blood. He pointed his katana at him once again.
"Come at me. Show me your worth for a soul celestial."
His vision became blurred as he dashed at the old man.
—CLANK!!
Their katanas collided with each other, sparks flying in every direction. The force behind their strikes sent shockwaves rippling through the air, shaking the very ground beneath them.
"Haha, that's the spirit," the old man muttered. His hands started glowing. He quickly retreated and dashed at him once again.
Meanwhile, instantly, the old man's whole katana started shining. He quickly upheld his katana for defense. But in the next second, as the light faded away, the slim katana became thicker and longer like a blade. It swung down upon him, the air cracked with energy, and the massive thing fell on his katana.
—CLANKK!!
—CRACK
The sheer energy radiating from the collision sent shockwaves rippling through the surroundings, causing the ground beneath him to crumble. The wind howled through his hair.
—Spat
The impact was too much. He spat out a mouthful of blood, and the lingering shockwave made his hands tremble. But no matter what, he couldn't let it go, as if he did, he would die. The place where the heavy blade collided started becoming hot, and his katana visibly became deformed.
"Haha, good. You at least have some battle senses."
The blade retreated. He quickly regained his movement, stood up, and tried to grab his katana firmly. But no matter what, his hands couldn't stop trembling, and he could taste the metallic taste of blood in his mouth.
Meanwhile, the old man's katana changed back to its original size.
"Hm, not bad. Hoho, and if you're wondering why my weapon changed too suddenly, well, why should I tell? In battle, anything can happen." He waved his hand, and a small ball of golden light formed, before instantly appearing before him and entering his body.
Soon, a warm feeling spread throughout his body, and the pain disappeared.
