Despite there only being a few dozen corpses in this wave, five of them were elite monsters.

With the experience points from these 5 elite monsters, Dean McKenzie reached level 8, while Doggy Two was just a little short, given that he was now an elite type, hence, he required more experience points.

After the prompt indicating McKenzie's level increase had ended, another alert sounded.

Looking at the system prompt, McKenzie's brows instantly relaxed.
