Chapter 25: Taken
Vance let out a satisfied smile as he stared at Aiden, feeling rather achieved that he finally found something against the boy,
"You see, we met with your father some days back and he told us he would have you leave Kai and get you married by the time you graduate if it was the last thing he'd do, do you still expect us to leave our brother in your care after hearing something like that?"
"My father made that decision without confronting me, I have no intention of leaving Kai." Aiden replied rather swiftly, his tone dropping an octave.
"So you want us to take your word for it?" Vladimir was the one who spoke this time, and Vance shot him another of his disapproving glare.
During Aidens' meeting with his father, before he had proposed the deal, Mr. Clein had mentioned meeting some business partners who reported his present matter to him which was how he was able to find out about Kai, turns out the business partners he spoke of were Kai's brothers.
Vladimir cleared his throat and straightened his back before he continued,
"You see, I'm willing to negotiate things with you for Kais sake, we could take him with us by force but then, he'd hate us for it, so I'm going to wait until he tires himself out."
Why was everyone hoping they get tired of each other? Lilith said the same thing and it was beginning to piss him off since he had no such intentions.
"And, my baby brother has a really soft heart and I won't want him to cry over someone like you... so let me warn you before hand," he leaned forward, his crazed blue eyes boring holes into the boys face. "...If something like that ever happens, I will make sure to end you."
He heaved a sigh and then stood up,
"There are going to be terms and conditions of loving my brother..."
"I can't believe you're agreeing to this Vladimir, didn't you hear what his father said then?" Vance interjected but his brother didn't pay attention to him and continued,
"I don't give a damn about your father. Right now, Kai is ignorant so let him remain so."
"What are your conditions?"
There wasn't anything he hadn't done so what more could they be asking for? Vladimir strode behind the couch where Aiden was sitted and leaned his upper body on the back rest right behind him,
"You will love him unconditionally... you will give him anything he wishes and you are not allowed to hurt him... breaking up included."
Sure didn't sound hard,
"And when gets his fill and wishes to leave, you are not allowed to stop him..."
"And what if he still wants to stay?"
"He won't."
Oh, how very confident this family of mermaids and men were regarding their relationship.
"Why'd you say so?" Aiden glanced up at the man who stood behind him and flashed a wicked smile that irked the twin, Vlad's brow twitched and he leaned to Aidens side,
"Because once he finds out what kind of person you are, he'll some to his senses on his own." He whispered.
"I'm still not satisfied with your decision Vladimir,"
"Oh don't be like that brother let Kai have his fun," Vladimir let out one of his playful smile and went back to his seat,
"Now that all of that is settled, can you hold your liquor Aiden?" Vlad asked still with his smile intact, before Aiden could reply, the door to the VIP room flung open and on the other side stood a dishevelled Jenny and Kevin with worry etched on their features. Behind the duo stood the bartender with white hair who looked like he could cry any minute,
"Kai's been kidnapped!"
"What?"

Jenny and Kevin had just stumbled out of the elevator with a black bag in hand. They looked wasted and their faces flushed red from the heat... probably because they had drank beyond their limit. Just as Kevin had boasted earlier, they had hit the jackpot and won the game after numerous rounds of loosing,
"See, I told you we would win this," Kevin slurred and leaned on Jenny trying to get his balance so he wouldn't fall, Jenny groaned from the extra weight on her and pushed him aside,
"Get off me, you're heavy." She then stormed back to the counter to order another round of drinks even though the two were already wasted,
"Another round of drinks for our celebration!" She cheered with a wide smile. When she glanced up at the white haired boy, Jenny noticed that he had a worried look on his face as he served them their drinks,
"Yah, what's wrong? Your spoiling your pretty face with all that frowning." Jenny stretched her hand over the counter and pinched him on the cheek. The boy let out a pained smile and gently pushed her hand away. He sighed and leaned in closer to them as if he didn't want others to hear what he was about to say.
"You two are friends with a guy named Kai right?"
Jenny rose a brow, immediately sobering up from the worried tone used,
"Wait, how did you know he's a-"
"He's been kidnapped... and I kinda happened to help in doing so." He admitted and the two froze.
The guilt was killing him. Originally he planed to just go back home and lay it off but he couldn't bring himself to do it... he felt like Kai did not deserve to be mistreated in such a way. The boy was adorable and didn't look like he could do something so bad that it would warrant him getting kidnapped. He was sure of this one.
Finally giving into his judgmental conscience, he decided to find his friends and report what he had done hoping that they would find the boy before anything bad happens.
After hearing such information, Jenny and Kevin were at a loss of what to do and in their dishevelled state, they immediately reported the matter to who they knew would handle it better.

"What?!"
The twins questioned in unison after the sudden news and quickly sprung to their feet, Aiden following suit,
"It's my fault..." the white haired boy who had been standing behind immediately interjected and stepped into the room. "Some girls gave me his name and paid me to switch with a bartender who works here to lure him in. I was supposed to drug him with this –" he brought out a small white pill in a tiny pack from his pocket and showed it to the brothers, "-but he got drunk on his own and passed out after a few drinks." Hearing what the boy said, Vladimir abruptly stormed forward and gave him a punch to the nose which sent him to the ground. He groaned and gritted his teeth when he tasted the metallic flavour in his mouth.
"Who paid you?" Vlad asked staring down at him superiorly with his icy blue eyes,
"Some girls, Rachel and...uh... someone named Maddie?" He squeezed his eyes shut trying to remember the second person's name, "The bartender was her roommate but he couldn't do it that's why she paid me."
"You said you saw Maddie leave earlier," Kevin interjected, his gaze on Jenny and the other nodded.
"How could Rachel do this?" Jenny said in a daze, she was stunned that the blonde girl could do something like this and go to such lengths just to get back at Aiden for leaving her when they were attacked.
"Where'd they take him?" Aiden questioned,
"I don't know, I just handed him over to some bikers but I don't know where they took him." The white haired boy finally got back on his feet only to receive another punch from Aiden as if warning him not to stand up.
"I don't know what he did to them but I felt really terrible after what I did that's why I came clean to you guys-"
"I don't have time for this," Aiden pushed past Jenny and Kevin who stood by the door,
"Are you all going to keep standing there or are you gonna help me find him?!" He yelled, seemingly on edge.
Before they could try anything else, Aiden needed to check if Kai still had access to his phone. He took his phone out from his pocket and dialed Kai's number hoping for there to be an answer even if it were his kidnappers. After a minute of ringing, there was none.
"Jenny, can you track his location?" Aiden turned to the black haired girl,
Even though Jenny was in the business department and devoted to it too, she liked anything that dealt with computers and decided to learn a few things to get by.
"It's gonna take some time,"
"I don't care, we need to hurry!" Aiden was panicking but he needed to keep his composure... he didn't want to imagine anything and would just focus on finding the boy right now, hopefully nothing bad would happen to him.
