Chapter 27: Brawl

The knock on the door echoed in the basement drawing Kai's attention,
"Luke is on his way, Toby I hope you're satisfied cause I'm leaving." Lin said from the other side of the door and the sound of her footsteps retreating proved that she had really walked away .
If Luke returned with the other two, controlling them would prove to be easy but what if there were more? He didn't think of walking out the door because he knew if he stepped out, he'd be overpowered in an instant. It was at times like this that Kai hated his premature ability where he couldn't control the lots at once...
"Phone," he muttered, suddenly remembering he had received a call earlier and he was sure it was Aidem. His phone screen was busted so he wouldn't be able to call back on it. He then turned the other male for the next option,
"Give me your phone,"
Thank God for Aiden making him memorise both their phone numbers when he did, now it really came in handy. Kai dialed the number and immediately the phone rang, the other picked it up,
"Hello,"
"Aiden," Kai called out in a small voice feeling his heart melt when he heard the others voice and a tear drop trickled down his cheek, he quickly wiped it
"Kai? Kai! Are you okay? Where are the kidnappers?"
"They stepped out and I'm fine but I don't know where I am."
"That's okay, Jenny's working on it, we'll get your location soon –" Vladimir heard his brother on the other line and snatched the phone from Aiden.
"Kai!" He called out in desperation
"Vladimir please come get me,"
"Hang in there, okay? We're coming."
"The door's unlocked," Kai's heart skipped a beat when he heard the coming voices from the other side of the door and immediately disconnected the call.

The way the call was suddenly disconnected mid way alarmed Vladimir and he turned to Jenny who sat on the couch with a laptop on her thighs,
"Tell me you've gotten his location," he pleaded with a worried expression contouring his sharp features. Jenny took a minute, her eyes focused on the screen before she finally replied,
"Yeah. They're in an old pub on block 26th K street. It's not a far drive from here."
"Then let's get moving and call the police." Vance grabbed his car keys from the arm of the couch and hurried out.

The sound of the door opening and the descending footsteps put Kai on edge. He hurried to the wooden table and grabbed a large wrench for extra protection. He stared down at the gun in his hand and carefully positioned his finger on the trigger while the other man positioned himself as a shield in front of the merman with the knife, he just needed to hold them back until Aiden and his brothers find him, hopefully, it won't be that hard.
When they came face to face with Kai, he pointed the gun at them but none flinched.
"Ayy, this the femboy you kept talking 'bout Steve? Damn you weren't kidding," A foreign voice commented, not even the least bothered by the gun pointed at them,
Kai's composure faltered... what he had feared actually came true and Luke had returned with four more extras, how was he supposed to take on seven people?
"Damn, I'd turn gay if he seduced me." A boy with brown hair spoke,
"A six-shooter ain't gon' protect you, honey,"
"Do you even know how to use that? You're trembling so much it's making me worried," they teased,
"Can we go a round with him before they get here? I'd love to see what he looks like with c*m all over him."
Kai gritted his teeth and his grip on the gun tightened as he stared back at the seven. Talking about him like he was some kind of fragile d*ldo was beginning to seriously get on his nerves, the next person that would do it will definitely get it.
"Is that Toby in the corner?" One said and their attention moved to the wasted man's body.
"Damn what were you guys doing in here?" Another questioned when he noticed the man's undone belt and zipper
"You the one who released him, Donny?" Jet asked with a small scowl staring at the hypnotised male, but the other didn't reply and just stared back blankly at him,
"Oi, he's talking to you." The brown haired boy stepped forward as if to scare the other and Donny quickly placed the knife on his neck, threatening to slit his throat of he stepped closer to the merman,
"What the fuck is wrong with you man? Did he posses you when you fucked him or some –"
BANG!
That was the last thread. Kai pulled the trigger. Even though he was trembling, the bullet went straight to the boys chest and he fell to the ground coughing up the blood that pooled in his mouth, this alarmed the other bikers and they also pulled out their gun and pointed it to the duo. Kai's head spun from the loud sound but he struggled to keep his composure,
"Nobody come closer," he spoke, ignoring his dizziness
"How many times must I warn you guys? No guns" jet scolded ignorantly
"These fuckers started it! He just shot Tyrone!"
"Arms down, everyone." Luke ordered with a stern voice and hesitantly, they all dropped their guns.
"You're more feisty than I thought," he stepped forward with a sly smirk, "I never thought you'd have it in you to shoot someone, but what I'm curious about... is what you did to Donny here to have him be on your side."
"Why'd you bring me here." Kai spat through gritted teeth and Luke shrugged casually
"Like I said earlier, I'm just doing my job, Rachel will be here any minute from now so before she gets here, I wanna get her package ready. Now be a good boy and put the gun down."
That was the last thing Kai wanted to do. Luke advanced towards him with slow and steady steps despite the gun pointed at him. Kai didn't notice this early as his head felt blank for a moment trying to figure out what he did to a person named Rachel but when he finally got his senses back, Luke was already a step away from him. Frightened that he would tie him back down, Kai pulled the trigger but Luke ducked just in time. He grabbed Kai's arm which held the gun and twisted it causing him to let go of the gun. Kai groaned and swung the wrench in his other hand at the man and was able to get his head.
The gun shot served as a go ahead and the other bickers lunged forward to support Luke but Donny was in the way. The male was able to stab two people but then got shot in the head by Jet.
Luke groaned and stumbled back, applying pressure on his bleeding forehead. Kai rose the blood stained wrench and was about to strike again when Steve came from the side and grabbed him by his collar, flinging him back onto the matrass causing the wrench to fall to the side,
"You are one hell of a guy you know that," Steve huffed with a deep frown and walked up to Kai. The merman aimed the spot in the middle of the others thighs but when he flung his leg to charge, Steve caught it and twisted his ankle,
"Aaargh!"
"Just fucking stay still!" Kai didn't listen, he crawled and stretched his upper body to tried to reach the wrench on the floor,
The sirens that wailed outside distracted Steve and his grip loosened slightly. Kai took the opportunity and quickly pulled his hurting ankle out of his hold and picked up the wrench. Twisting his upper body, he threw the wrench straight to Steve's head and the crack was loud enough for one to know what had happened to him. His body fell atop Kai but the merman was too weak to push it aside,
"Luke, the police are here, get up we gotta go." Jet said and tried to get the bleeding Luke back on his feet but it was too late as the police barged into the basement in bullet proof vests and guns,
"Freeze!"
"Put your hands where we can see them!" They commanded and the remaining three obeyed. As the others cuffed the bikers, a police man came up to Kais tired frame and pushed the dead body off him before helping him stand,
"Hey, you okay?" he questioned,
The man's voice sounded muffled to Kai since his head felt fuzzy. The man got him back on his feet but his whole body hurt which made it really hard to walk.
Aiden and the twins rushed in after the forces and froze when they saw Kai with bruised cheeks and arms, a busted ankle and his bottom half bare,
"Kai..." Aiden called and Kai smiled when he saw him. With the last strength in him, he let go of the police man assisting him and limped forward and flung his arms around Aidens neck,
"Aiden," Oh how much he missed this warmth... yes, now he was sure he was safe and he could finally sleep.
Aiden felt Kai's body go lax and soon saw that the boy had lost consciousness. He swept him off his feet and stared down at him. The guilt washing over him like a tidal wave. Why couldn't he be there at such a crucial time? All this happened because he let him wander out of his sight.
"He really fought back." Jenny commented when she walked in and saw the blood splattered everywhere, her face paled when Aiden walked past her with Kai in his arms with a bare bottom
"Did they -?" She couldn't bring herself to complete her question. Aiden didn't reply and just walked out of the pub to get the merman to the ambulance.
"Aiden?" A feminine voice called when he stepped out through the back door and he rose his gaze only to see Maddie with a worried look on her face... he clenched his jaw...
