"Ohh... uhmm," Erica stuttered, immediately regretting her decision to assist him. With the way his eyes bore holes through her despite the smile playing on his lips, she knew that she was already found out.

"Judging from your reaction, I didn't get the wrong hospital.... he's here, isn't he?"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Donovan. I don't know how you knew he was here, but I can't reveal more than you already know to you. Have a nice day, sir." She bit her lower lip and bowed her head. The last thing she wanted was to get into trouble with Mr. Clein for involving other people in his matter. She turned to take her leave, but Donovan was quick to grab her wrist, preventing her from leaving. Erica's heart skipped a beat when he did this, and she snapped back at him, worry in her eyes.
