〜〜 Side of Haruto Kuramoto 〜〜
"Hmm... Hmm... Ugh... Where am I?"
"Oh, right, I remember now. I was reincarnated by a god. And I was sleeping against this tree, wasn't I?"
As I sat up, I looked around. There was a vast grassy plain, mountains in the distance, and the air was incredibly clear, soothing my mood more than anything.

The god cast her eyes around and then looked straight at me with a remorseful expression.
"I'm sorry; I made a mistake."
"Explain how this happened!"
The god, seemingly embarrassed, began her explanation.
"Well, you see, I opted for the quickest method, but I made a mistake in the end."
"The quickest method?"
"Yes. I copied all the settings and data from the FPS game you were playing and created a body based on that. Then, I planned to incorporate your abilities and game data into the body. It's basically a replication technique. However, I accidentally put you into the avatar you were using in the game."
I looked at the body lying behind the god. It was supposed to be the one where my soul was supposed to be. Huh?
"Wouldn't it have been quicker to just put the data into that body?"
"Well, you see, that would have taken more time. To put it simply, it would require a lot of rewriting for bug fixes, which I didn't want to deal with. The method I described earlier allows us to maintain the original model, making it easier to identify and fix any bugs. I did a thorough job on the fixes, so you don't need to worry about that. Also, I don't know if you've noticed by now, but your soul is compatible with this body, so redoing it won't work. I'm sorry."
So, there was no turning back, huh? Well, it couldn't be helped.
"Hmm? Come to think of it, this might be more convenient."
"Oh? What do you mean?"
"When we transferred, the entire class was teleported, right?"
"Yes, that's right. What's the matter?"
"If they find out one person is missing..."
"Ah! They'll come looking for you!"

According to the god's explanation, the basics were the same as the game I used to play. When I wanted to access the menu, I just had to think about it, and it would appear, just like in the game.
"Other than the store you mentioned, everything seems similar to the game."
"There are a few other changes. The logout button and some environmental settings are gone, and I added your world's everyday clothes to the store, expanded the food selection, and included daily necessities. I also expanded your item storage... I didn't tamper with the items inside, but feel free to check if anything is missing."

I opened the menu, checked the storage, custom part boxes for weapons and vehicles, and the costume storage.

"Great. Now, let me explain about your body. Your body isn't based on RPG settings, but on FPS game settings, as I mentioned earlier."

The god continued to explain casually. I wanted to protest, but I needed to listen to the explanation first.
"Even if someone else tries to take your weapons, it's okay. The moment someone other than you tries to take your weapon, it will disappear and return to your weapon storage. For vehicles, even if someone tries to start the engine, it won't work."

handle all kinds of vehicles like a pro. Feel free to use them!"

"Healing potions and revival items are equivalent to legendary items in this world, so use them wisely."

In the game, you could get these items anytime, anywhere, but in reality, items with the ability to resurrect would be considered legendary.
