Chapter 2: Chapter 2: It begins
Walking towards the lunchroom, the Delinquent Cord made their attention very known. In the large private school, the faculty decided to put all of the troubled students in their own section, in their own building. That is what the Delinquent Cord is. It's a building far off from the main school. It has 5 classrooms with guards patrolling the doors.
The delinquents there all have their own issues. They all have problems that the adults decide are only able to be fixed if they separate them from the whole school. It's like a mini prison. The only place where they could see the other students in the school was the lunchroom. It's where assemblies are held, this is one of the first few where the delinquent's are allowed to attend.
Michi Private School has kids of all ages. It's a very popular one in their place, it's populated with over 300 students. That is one of the reasons why there is a Delinquent Cord. Many of the students have issues, much that the staff have to make them their own building to contain them.
Housed by fences, large and tall with rich white wood, the place was of its own glory. If only it was known what happens inside the building.
What students do to everyone, not just the adults, but to other students. Trees would hide the place, the only way to see the entrance that is blocked by guards is in the courtyard, Michi was high above everything.
See why it's known as a prison?
The delinquents made it to the lunchroom, chasing away all the other students that were close to them. They made their way to a corner, able to see what is happening up front but be as loud as they want. No one told them otherwise, the students in Michi were too afraid of them. Even the teachers stayed clear from them, letting the guards deal with it instead.
They didn't listen to what was being announced, too busy messing around and smoking to care. Vinh did listen however, she noticed that it would be useful to know what is going on in the school. Plus, she does it for Kim Seo who told her to know everything in case they will need to use it.
Cameron found his way in with the other students in Michi, he wanted to be as far away as he could from the Delinquent Cord, he was just someone easy to bully by them. Still, Loire found her way to him, asking left and right things that he had no knowledge about. He ignored her, putting earbuds in and pretending to listen to the announcements.
The words went in one ear and out the other to the students. No one seemed to bat an eye, everyone except Vinh. She took in the news, her face scrunching up in confusion. The information wasn't what she was expecting.
"Now everyone, please finish your lunch before heading to class." The principal bowed his head, turning his chubby body away and leaving. Guards followed behind him while the students began to disperse.
Vinh found her way to Kim Seo. "Kim Seo, we need to go to the courtyard."
The one in question looked over to her, "why? What were they announcing about?"
She gave a stern look, beckoning him to follow her outside of the lunchroom and into the courtyard. He followed her, sending only Damian and his friends that were there, to follow them. The six students went out into the courtyard, Vinh knew where she was going, passing the others and to the end of the courtyard that was situated in the front of the school.
Kim Seo and his friends' presence made the students who dared go out run away. They rushed back inside, not looking at the delinquents who strolled past them to take over the space. Kim Seo continued to follow his friend, making sure that Damian and the others watch his back for guards.
He didn't know what to expect, he wasn't listening to the announcements, but it seemed like whatever was announced got his friend riled up. Nonetheless, he followed and trusted her.
In the front of the school where they had ended up, the front gates were open, and a few small buses were outside of the gate. Kim Seo went in front of the girl, motioning to the large cement fence, she nodded, running over and crouching down. They looked over it, taking in all the fuss that was coming out of the small yellow buses.
Small children exit, followed by adults who led them to the gate and into the school. There were at least 5 buses, all filled with children between the ages 5 and 10. Vinh growled under her breath, watching the guards lead more students that looked unhappy to be there.
Kim Seo followed her eyes, shaking his head and clicking his tongue. "They are bringing children that young here.. why?"
"They did not explain why.." The quiet girl answered.
"Then they must have done it for a bad reason then. This school is shady enough for that," Kim Seo shook his head, moving away from the wall. He heard laughter from his friends, that and a similar whining.
"Let go! Get off me assholes!" It was Cameron, currently getting pushed around and grabbed by Damian and his friends. They laughed at him, Damian tugging at the fluffy hair, Cameron growled at him, kicking and squirming. He tried to get out of the boy's grip that had him from behind, but he was not strong enough. "Let me go!"
"Oh stop whining!" Damian tugged his hair even more, a cry came as a response from the trapped boy.
Kim Seo walked over, intending to stop it when a girl intervened. It was sudden, she came forward quickly and knocked Damian off his feet. She pushed the rest away, yelling bloody murder.
"No one gets to touch that fluffy hair except me!"
"The fuck Loire?" Damain coughed, laughing to himself at the weird girl. His friends helped him up, Kim Seo appearing behind them and laughing along with them. Loire stuck her tongue out at them like a child would.
Kim Seo came over, shaking his head at the pair. He knew Loire well, they bickered a lot since the boy didn't like to back down. Just like now, he didn't like the fact Cameron let Loire touch him. Out of all the people, he lets her do it. It made no sense to him.
Loire had her hand around him, moving away from them. "We don't associate with assholes!"
"You ate lunch with us yesterday?" A friend of Damians said with confusion.
"Only because Cameron wasn't here, now fuck off!"
"Stop touching me!" Cameron pushed away from Loire, moving from all of them the best he could. It looked like he was running away from hungry wolves. Kim Seo and Loire both giggled at his panicked face, it was hilarious.
Kim Seo grabbed the boy's sweater before he could run away, pulling him over and locking his head up with his arms. Cameron squirmed, fighting and pushing desperately to get out of his hold. But the other was much too strong for his thin arms to try and push away. But he didn't give up, trying to push him away even if it was nothing for Kim Seo to hold him.
"So fluffy indeed!" Kim Seo laughed, ruffling his hair with his free hand.
"Oh my fucking god!" Cameron squirmed in annoyance.
"Hey, I said only I can do that!" Loire came forward, pushing Kim Seo away until he released the poor boy. Cameron fell over, landing on his ass, he stayed on the ground while Loire and Kim Seo continued to banter about him.
"Then you shouldn't have said that, I saw it as a challenge~"
"Your freaky ass would, wouldn't you?" Loire shot back at him, standing in front of Cameron to block him.
But with 5 other people ready to pounce on them, they really didn't stand a chance.
"Move it Loire, or were gonna fuck with you too." Kim Seo warned her, walking forward with Damian and the others behind him.
"Bite me." Lore smirked, lifting her fists. Kim Seo couldn't help but smile right back, he did enjoy that the most out of the girl. Her willingness, being fearless and able to have fun with it.
The boys pounced, ready to fight Loire. She did so too, stationing herself and knocking Damian back with her fist, even with that one hit, the rest were too fast. Two of his friends came forward and grabbed her arms to trap the girl. She squirmed, kicking them in the legs, they held their stance, throwing her to the ground.
While that happened, Kim Seo made his way to Cameron. The short boy picked himself off the ground, he wasn't prepared to be grabbed once again by the same black haired boy. The taller male held Cameron, grabbing him from behind and trapping his arms on either side of him. Kim Seo made it easier for himself, using his hand to keep both of Cameron's arms trapped. He was much stronger, so all Cameron could do was curse and kick him.
"Let him go! Fuckers, trap bitches! You fuckity fuck boys!" Loire screamed at them, it made the group chuckle at her way of words. Giggling while holding both of the kids down.
Three of them had to trap Loire who just wouldn't give up while Kim Seo had no problem trapping Cameron. Loire still tried to fight, she didn't know when to give up. Hitting and kicking, earning a few punches to the gut, but only one was able to throw her off. She staggered, one of the boys catching her and yelling at his friend. They felt slightly guilty, but lost that when Loire came back with a punch to the face.
Cameron watched her fight them off, yelling at the boy who had him from behind. She was still trying to get them to leave him alone. Making herself get hit and wounded in the process. Even if Cameron hates the girl, hates the company and her loud mouth, she was very brave. Fighting off the guys with a smile on her face, trying to protect him even when he was rude to her.
She was slightly just as crazy as Kim Seo, a proud and happy smile on her face as she fought the guys. She seemed to be enjoying this.
Maybe that's why Kim Seo liked her so much? Her willed spirit, her bravery and stupidity all mixed together into a mess. Whatever Kim Seo liked, he was into crazy shit. And Loire was an obvious pile of "crazy shit".
The mess of five guys harassing and pushing around a girl and a skinny boy caught Vinh's attention. The quiet girl had gone off without noticing, she left them when Cameron had been making a fuss. When she came back, she noticed the group being loud and noticeable, walking back from the buses, she was not alone.
Kim Seo was the first to notice her, and he noticed a little girl clinging to her hand. Damian and his friends followed Kim Seo's gaze, looking back at the girl, they dropped Loire without so much of a second thought. Kim Seo did the same, dropping Cameron onto the floor, he sped walked over to Vinh.
"Hey, who's that little angel?" He crouched, peering at the child who hid herself behind Vinh's leg. He smirked, looking back up to Vinh, "did you kidnap her?"
"No." The quiet girl gave a stern reply, she looked behind her, touching her head gently. The little girl looked up to the touch, rubbing it lovingly. Vinh smiled, feeling her face warm up. "She saw me from the fences, and… She came over to me and followed me here."
Kim Seo rolled his eyes, a smirk plastered on his lips. "What's your name sweetheart?"
The child, a small blonde haired girl with small pigtails tied into little buns. Her eyes were a bright innocent blue, her outfit was a small pink dress, short and cuffed at the shoulder, her face was pouty and red. She didn't respond, stuffing her face in Vinh. Kim Seo got the hint, looking up to his friend who stared blankly at him. He stood up, tilting his head to both of them. "Hey, let's give her a name."
"What are you thinking?"
"Come on, I have a great name for this little angel." Kim Seo stood confidently, responding to his friend who gave an eye roll in response.
Cameron yelled from behind them, the pair and the little girl looked back to the commotion. Damian had gotten back to harassing them, he had a few bruises on his face, yelling at Loire who was spitting on them. The three friends held Cameron on the ground, once again, the small boy was pushed onto something, unable to fight back.
Damian on the other hand, was having a one on one fight with Loire. The small girl shockingly was able to throw the taller boy to the ground. She wrapped her legs around his chest, squeezing him tightly while they shuffled around on the ground. He tapped out quickly, smacking the ground and letting out audible "ow" "ow" over and over again.
"What is going on?" Vinh looked at the mess, feeling a headache.
"I don't know, but it's fun to watch." Kim Seo laughed to himself, walking over to the mess on the ground. "Alright, enough, enough!" He pulled Loire off, shaking her shoulder while laughing. "You sure know how to kill when you want to!"
"I'll kill anyone who fucks with me!" She shoved him off, rubbing her nose that began to bleed. She glared at him, eyes challenging. "Even you, fuck boy."
"I like you," Kim Seo replied to her threat with a grin.
Loire blushed, but her expression stayed the same. She turned her head, noticing the small child and Vinh, a wide smile grew on her face immediately. Even if she was bleeding and beat up, she ran over and began asking everything known to man to the child.
Kim Seo turned his attention to Cameron. The small boy was in the dirt, face smashed into the ground. Damian and his friends had let him go, but the boy was still on the ground. Kim Seo shook his head, feeling oddly confused at the boy who stayed in such a painful position.
"You really don't know how to take a joke do you?" He walked over, crouching and pulling him up by the arm.
Cameron suddenly yelped, wincing harshly, he pulled his hand away from the boy. He pulled it close to himself, sniffing his cries away and into the dirt. Kim Seo understood right away what was the problem. He let the male go, shaking his head, a bit of guilt hit him in the chest when watching the small boy in pain.
"What a fucking weakling-" Damian appeared beside Cameron, he smacked his foot to the boys side, trying to get a reaction out of the weeping boy.
Kim Seo sighed, he stood back up to face Damian. "Enough, you had your fun now screw off." The boy walked forward to block his friend from the small boy.
Damian shook his head, trying to read Kim Seo's expression. "What's going on with you?"
"Nothing, go get me some lunch and fuck off." Kim Seo shooed him away, not even bothering to glance at him. Damian is scared of feeling stupid and he was slightly hurt at the rejection. Whatever changed with his friend, it seemed like it was because of Cameron.
Either way, Damian nodded, laughing off his friend's behavior before calling for his buddies to follow him. They did so, heading to the lunchroom to leave the group alone.
Kim Seo lifted the boy up, ignoring the cries of pain. "Fuck you- fuck off!" Cameron whined at him, punching his shoulder in a weak effort. Kim Seo smiled, but didn't try to stop him. He walked over to where the three girls were, watching Loire's expression turn from happy, to a horrified expression. She pushed Kim Seo away, grabbing Cameron away from him.
"Oh my god, what the fuck!" She held him tightly, causing his pain to rise.
"Ow!" He shoved her away, landing on his ass once again. Before Kim Seo, or even Loire tried to grab him again, Cameron held his uninjured hand up. "Don't touch me anymore!"
He said it quickly and loud enough for the group to stop. They did so, slowly taking steps back with stifled laughter. Cameron couldn't laugh it off, feeling helpless and pitiful once again, he realized that he was once again thrown around and pushed by the delinquents in the Cord. At least Loire was able to fight back, she did try and stick up for Cameron, but couldn't keep up.
In the end, she laughed it off as a joke. It was all fun for the crazy students, unable to see anything unusual about it. Only Cameron did, feeling the pain and humiliation that he knew would never stop continuing to pile up.
