Jayden collapsed to the floor, beside the oversized goblin king he had just risked his life to kill, while gasping heavily for air.
"I-i thought things would be a lot easier with guns, but they're no different from blades"
Jayden complained amidst heavy breaths.
[You must've already figured out by now, that your gun power increases with your level. So sulk it up!]
"You should've said that earlier! Instead of letting me run in here like a OP player!"
Jayden said in distaste.
He had to use both his guns, machete, and grenade to clear the floor which he set to 'hell mode', thinking it would be a walk in the park for him.
[There's no time to rest, you're still lacking in level compared to the other players.]

Jayden screamed out in rage, after seeing his level.
The average players level were currently ranging from 6 to 8, and the pro players level ranging from 8 to 12. So technically, he was still a pathetic rookie.
[Get your ass up and re-enter the dungeon! Stop sulking!]
"Yes mum"
Jayden muttered and lazily staggered to his feet.
[I'm older than your mom! I'm even older than her mom, and her mom's mum, and her...]
"Stop! Okay? I'm going"
Jayden voiced out, and headed for a silver portal which opened after the goblin king fell.

Jayden summoned his black three hole ski mask which had the design of a white skull, and quickly pulled it over his face as he stepped through the silver portal.
"Hi! You must be Merc, right?"
Jayden shuddered as the first thing he saw was a cute oval face, a few inches away from his as he stepped out on the other side of the silver portal.
"C-could you take a step back, please"
Jayden said awkwardly, as he had recognized the cute oval faced girl.
"Oh, sorry"
Isabelle said, and took a step back.
"A little bit more"
Jayden said again, as they were still too close.
"Your voice sounds familiar, I think I've heard it somewhere"
Isabelle said with a scrutinizing gaze, as she took another step back.
"I have no idea what you're talking about"
Jayden replied quickly.
"Are you sure about that?"
Isabelle asked while sizing Jayden up.
"Could you stop pestering my client!"
A masculine voice bellowed from a side.
Jayden looked over to see who had spoken, and was instantly petrified to see multiple squads who all had over-thirty members, and had all come for him.
He was even more shocked when he sighted a particular squad who were all carrying firearms, as he had thought he was the only gunner in-game.
[Dumbass! Their abilities are classified under marksman, so they would get similar classes and weapons that'd best channel their abilities. You really should stop 'assuming' you're special.]
'I'm special of course! Who else have got a system like I do'
Jayden thought proudly.

'Is there?'
Jayden asked with uncertainty, as Mia had ignored his remark.
[Well, to pop your balls, there are. And there'll soon be a lot more.]
'W-what? So you've been tricking me all this while?'
Jayden asked in shock.
[But... Out of them all, I'm the only one with a sentient.]
'And that makes me... Special!'
Jayden exclaimed with a wide smile.
"Uhh... Are you okay?"
Isabelle, who had been watching his expression change every now and then, asked with a raised brow.
"Huh? I'm good. I hope you all is to survive what is to come tonight! Read my lips, 'It's gonna be fucking bloody!'"
Jayden said aloud, and jumped back into the silver portal.

"You did the right thing girl"
Jayden commented with a wide smile, as he saw Mia's notification.

"Hell mode"
Jayden muttered, as the familiar pop-up window appeared in his line of sight.
He felt himself materialize, and opened his eyes to the view of a wide dark cave path, with a dead end behind.
Jayden quickly summoned his M16 rifle, and began taking slow steps forward.
"Uhhh... Uhhh... Uhhh..."
Jayden began hearing distorted moanings in the distance, which got louder with each steps he took.
He traced the sounds to the end of the wide cave path which led to an even wider path, and was lighted up with lanterns.
He cautiously stuck his back to the wall edge, and slowly took a peek into the lighted wider path, to know what was going on inside.
"That's disgusting"
Jayden suddenly heard from beside him.
"Fuc...!"
Jayden was about to scream out in panic, but the uninvited guest quickly muffled his screams with her palm.
"How did you even clear this hell mode with zero sense of your surroundings? I've been behind you since you jumped in"
Isabelle whispered in surprise.
[You hear that? Trashy rookie!]
'Why didn't you tell me I was being tailed?'
Jayden thought to Mia in distaste.
[Why should I? It seems like I'm giving you a little bit too much!]
[Your M16 rifle has been confiscated till further notice.]
[Your in-game M16 rifle has been locked till further notice.]
'Come on! I promise to improve!'
Jayden thought out loud in panic, as his M16 rifle disappeared from his hands.
[Use the machete and pistol to clear this dungeon, else, I'll confiscate them too!]
"Are you okay? Why are your eyes turning red?"
Isabelle whispered in curiousity.
"You won't understand... No one would"
Jayden replied with a melancholic tone, and summoned his machete and glock19 pistol.
"Let's beat the time record"
Jayden said with a determined tone.
"I like the sound of that"
Isabelle replied with a smirk, as two blue short swords materialized in her hands.
