Chapter 26: Rating game 3
"When you meet your brother, tell him to forfeit the game and return home" Jogging through the fields towards the place where the loud explosion occurred, Ken idly said to the girl following him.
"Hah...! And what makes you think I would do that?! Just because you beat us, you think you can beat Nii-sama! Don't be delusional, He is much stronger than all of us combined"
He glanced back, wondering if she really saw the Knight dying in front of her own eye?, not only the elimination from the match but life as well...Or she didn't care in the first place.
Her innocent still eyes made it quite improbable that she wouldn't grieve over a death-especially a colleague.
That means...she didn't see her getting bisected, for her all of them just retired after suffering some injuries that can easily be healed with proper pieces of equipment, which was mostly correct.
"...Did you seriously think I was letting you stay because I got entranced by your beauty?" But none of that mattered to Ken, He couldn't care less what would she think when she found out that he had indirectly killed her colleague.
He wasn't going to meet her after today anyway, and even in the unlikely scenario that they did meet each other, He could simply shrug it off by simply saying it was an accident.
"...What do you mean?"
Looking at her somewhat doubtful and suspicious face, Ken laughed "You are a hostage, Idiot"
"huh..."
"I said, If your 'Ni-sama' turns out to be stronger than my estimations, I can simply use you as a bargaining chi--..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he rolled sideways to avoid a volley of fireballs with an angry bird closely following behind "You bastard...!! Is that how humans treat ladies!"
"Lady? Who's the lady? Where? I don't see any lady anywhere" Ken mockingly turned left and right and squinted his eyes, seemingly searching for someone "All I see is a brat imitating her mommy?"
"Y-You...?" She seethed, Her cheeks burning red in anger.
"I was just joking...! Ken raised his hand to pacify the little bird "There is no way I would use a cute, little girl"
"Hmph!" She snorted and turned her head, her face flushed.
"It's here...!" Somewhere between their banter, they'd arrived at their destination- The new school Building. Ravel turned to look at him, as he stood in front of her, he lifted his hand and patted her head "Ravel, right? You are a good companion. But...You shouldn't let anyone else's words affect you...And so..."
He flicked her head, and Ravel yelped in pain " You get zero stars for today's assignment!" Saying that he turned around and started walking away, occasionally chuckling at his own thoughts...
'What the fuck am I doing? If I tried this back on earth...it would've landed me behind bars...But Oh well, I am not on earth now, I am in the underground, the land of sins...I can't believe I am saying this, but- all hail THE MIGHTY EAGLE!'
Left alone, Ravel looked at departing back of Ken in a daze, lost in her own fantasies.

"Give up rias! You may have gotten stronger, But you will never be able to beat me!" Riser shouted with a cocky smirk just as a red ball of destruction passed through his chest, leaving a large hole in its wake.
He didn't seem to care thought, the wound that would've killed any normal person instantly, was like a mere inconvenience for him- An Immortal from the house of Phenix.
Fire blanketed the hole from every direction burning away the gap, the wound started healing at an astonishing rate. And within moments, his chest was as good as new with no traces of previous damage on his unblemished skin.
"Never! I would never give up, I will only marry someone whom I love, and who loves me in return..." Rias' eyes turned fierce, the power of destructing burning within her sapphire eyes as she practically spat "...Not someone who merely lusts after my body and position as a Gremory!"
Her breathing was slightly ragged, her delicate face was covered in a thick layer of sweat.
However, Rias continued attacking Riser with her unrelenting (attacks), simply because she wasn't alone.
From above, Akeno, wearing a white and red shrine maiden dress rained bolts of lightning on riser, Kiba and koneko opted for the close-range attacks.
"Instead of asking me to give up, you should give up riser! You are the only one that's left from your side, And I have all of my peerage here!" Riser's cocky smile faded when he heard the smug voice of Rias. He balled his fists in anger as his plan to get Rias to surrender failed.
Truth be told, Riser was shocked by her performance. He was sure that Rias wasn't so strong when he visited her in the human world. Not only her but her entire peerage...How did they grow up so much within a few days?
He gritted his teeth as his hands caught the fist and sword of koneko and Kiba. His red eyes landed on them and he smirked cruelly.
He turned towards Rias with the same smirk and asked rhetorically "You really won't surrender huh... Fine then, I will burn every one of your precious servants in front of your eyes. Let's see what you do after that hahahaha...."
"You can't do that, Riser! It's against rating game rules! The devil society will never forgive you!"
Riser laughed at Rias' warning, "Oh! My beloved Rias, Who would punish me for the crimes that Riser ever committed? Rating games players often die 'accidentally'. Surely the devil society won't punish a pure-blooded devil for some unforeseen 'accidents' right?"
He sarcastically mocked her, Then proceeded to throw them into the air. He raised his hand as a large Fireball capable of engulfing both of them appeared above his palm.
"No! Don't do that, Riser!" Rias desperately begged him to stop, but Riser paid her no heed and instead launched the fireball at them.
"Kiba! Koneko!" Akeno and Rias cried out, they hurriedly prepared their next attack at launched them at Riser's fireball to cancel it.
They couldn't make it in time, The fireball consumed them completely, along with the despairing voices of their partners.
"Hahahahaha...." Only Riser's devilish laughter echoed throughout the school grounds.
