Nyx POV
That hurts a lot.
What on earth happened to me, why I could see hands that are like a candle. Painful gift. I don't know what kind of ability is that, but piercing my eyes with those dark needles definitely hurt me mentally to the point where I even bled out.
"Nyx… are you okay? Please wake up my Daughter."
I could hear a voice calling for me, it's deep as well. It's a man, perhaps this is the voice of Nyx Father, so I definitely need to be careful not to be discovered by them that I possess this child's body, unless.
Nyx I envy you, to have such a caring family, but I'm also very sorry that I'm about to change your whole life into something that you would regret. I'm at a point of no return, so I will use this as an opportunity to develop a new personality for this Young Lady.
Memory loss, I will use this as an advantage to trick Nyx Father along with the Head maid.

My eyes twitched as my vision slowly came back and I opened my eyes and I was greeted by a ceiling, and beside me was Nyx's Father. Wolfgang, I could still see the 3 fingers up and are lit overall.
Now let's commence an act, I'm sorry Nyx.
"Aa…" I uttered a single sound to signal Wolfgang that I am already awake.
"NYX YOU'RE FINALLY OKAY!"
I was hugged by Nyx Father. It was a comforting feeling that pierce through my heart, it is indeed my own jealousy to see a loving family, but I'm also sorry that I'm about to wage war with the Lightveil along with the entire kingdom.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"What do you mean? It's me, your Father! Wolfgang."
I could see the dreadful look of disbelief in the eyes of Wolfgang. He was suffering as her face was being overwhelmed by negative emotion.
But I could see something else, those negative emotions of dark like flames swelling up in the air. I was attracted to it, but I need to be careful.
I look at Wolfgang, who is slowly descending into Madness.
Nyx Father is a bit older than I thought, his hair doesn't have the same color as Nyx, but he has purple eyes and even purple hair.
"Nyx… this can't be real, can't you remember I'm your father?!"
He kept begging to make her daughter remember him, as he was holding me and embracing me, he was tearing up in sadness and pain.
"My father…" I asked with such a cold answer, as I acted like I didn't know him.
"Yes I'm your father… please remember me, and your mother and everyone. Nyx…"
He keeps begging, and begging to make her daughter come back and remember him.
I feel sorry for him.
"No, I couldn't remember anything! Who am I? Who are you!?" I intensified my acting, I could see the face of Wolfgang. He was about to break down in anger, sadness, and those sorrowful emotions. It was too much for him.
"Where am I!? WHERE!?" I grabbed my head.
"Nyx! Please calm down! Calm down my daughter!" He hugged me again.
"Don't worry! NYX FATHER IS HERE! FATHER IS HERE! JUST CALM DOWN!"
Wolfgang is desperate.
This is going extremely well.
"Aaahhhh!" I screamed to add more fuel to the fire, as the negative emotions around the house began to rise, as the other people could hear me, and my screams echoing through corridors.
My screams are enough to let the people hear me.
[The mansion of Opal is slowly descending into Madness.]
"WHY I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING! WHY DID GOD ABANDON US! All I wanted was to protect my family! And this is what I was repaid for!" Wolfgang shouted in anger, as he couldn't contain his emotion.
I peek towards the memory of Nyx, where I saw the carriage being targeted by Bandit as the soldiers of Opal were overwhelmed, and in the end, her mother protected Nyx but at the cost of her mother's life.
Life is indeed sad for our young lady, but this sadness will be mine to use.
Wolfgang Mana is surging, as I look at him who is crying. But this time, I could see a 3 circle of magic that appeared beside him.
3 magic circles, a very high Magic Caster indeed, 3 fingers with the candles lit. I'm guessing those were the indication of the user's ability.
Let's stop our act for now, and comfort this saddened Father of mine for now. Now let's develop my new personality, I will not be a quiet young lady anymore, I will turn this mansion to my own liking. For the time being, I must calm him down.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
My voice had reached Wolfgang, which he halted, and he looked at me. He was crying and suddenly he stopped crying and he slowly regained his sanity.
"I'm sorry Nyx, for I couldn't protect you." He just cried.
"It's okay… I couldn't even remember you or anyone, wouldn't it be best to start again? Umm… are you really my father?"
That was embarrassing to say.
"Yes! I'm your Father Nyx, yes let us start again. My name is Wolfgang Von Opal, I am indeed your father, and thank you for bringing me back to my senses, my daughter."
He just came back and he regained his sanity. You are indeed a good person, unlike Lightveil.
"Okay Father!" I happily said.
My facade wouldn't last long, now I must prepare to gather some forces after I learn everything inside the house.
If there's any competent person inside our household, I should probably give them commendable work and make them submit to me alone.
Citrine would be the best, and I saw her with five fingers, but not all of them are lit up. I need more information regarding this ability.
But suddenly my stomach growled in hunger.
*Growl*
Well this is embarrassing.
"Father… I'm hungry."
"Alright Nyx, let's get you to the table. Do you still know how to stand up or anything?"
"I can't remember anything." I answered while trembling.
"It's okay, everything is going to be fine. Your father is here to help you."
"Thank you father." I answered.
He then stood up, and he offered his hand to me. Which I took, and he helped me stand up from my bed. I then looked up at the ceiling, and it was covered with dark energy that was hovering above me.
It looks like I have also gained some minor changes. I feel like those energies are the most suitable for me, it's making me too hungry for them.
"Citrine." His voice echoed throughout the mansion.
"Yes Master?"
"Prepare a Food in the table, I will be dining with my daughter."
"Understood." She bows down, and leaves both of them while heading towards the kitchen.
"Citrine?" She asked.
"Citrine is the head maid of this Mansion, you can ask anything from her." Wolfgang just gave her daughter a bright yet weak smile due to what happened.
You may hide those emotions, but you can't hide them from me.
So my eyes didn't deceive me, My father has 3 fingers shown but the 3 of them are lit. But for Citrine she has 5 fingers but none of them are lit.
Is this an indication of the user's potential for Magic? It seems that I'm very close to it. I don't possess any Mana from this body, but I can train my body with physical prowess for defense.
Citrine, you will be my very first subordinate.
I have set my eyes on my first target.
I look at Citrine behind her back, and suddenly she freezes up and her body shivers. She turned around and looked at me. She was confused as if she was being watched, she then turned her head back and continued towards the kitchen.
I should tone down my true nature.
But first, I'm hungry. I really need to eat some food, I haven't tasted food since my death, I'm really hungry.
I just sighs as I was being escorted towards the kitchen, and I saw a butler and a maid working together at the dining table and preparing a meal for the both of us.
For the time being I'll just enjoy myself, I mean what's the point of revenge if I don't enjoy the journey along the way.
She smiled like the devil without anyone noticing it.
