Prologue
"Boom" The undisputed thunder roars and rules over the sky, challenging heaven and earth while unleashing its infamous ferocity.
The world was ready to collapse under the wrath of intolerable thunder, each thunderstrike capable of leaving destructive pits and craters.
Not even mountains or those hills ranging from zero to infinity were capable of surviving, such was the terror of those raging currents.
"Tang San, obediently hand over that precious hundred thousand years old spirit ring over to me" A young man with unrestrained greedy eyes, as if he was insatiable hungry beast, widely opens his grin "On account of you and me coming from the same village and our childhood rivalry, I shall overlook your rebellion and the action of you protecting that hundred thousand year old spirit ring "
A young man with tattered outfits, revealing his left half, muscular chest and arm, savagely glares at a young man who was covered with bruises and wounds.
The young man himself was full of scars and injuries, showered with fresh blood and reeking of killing intent, ignores the pain and turns to meet his dangerous glare with the beautiful pair of eyes of a young lady.
"Sagar, stop your crazy thoughts and come back to your senses" Tang San grits his teeth and tightens his grip on his hammer spirit, of course he murderously threatens the young man " Xiao Wu is my life and handing over her to someone else is equivalent to sacrificing my soul in this life which I can't do no matter what "
"Bullshit" Sagar chuckles villainously " In the world where power matters, the strength reigns and finally scheme and calculation are all over, such worthless objects called love is nothing but ridiculous thoughts which you can keep it in the back of your pant pocket "
"Hahaha" Sagar laughs with all his might, creating evil and sinister atmosphere " Today you both motherfucker can reunite in Heaven after I slaughter you both, you two are nothing but bunch of obstacles standing on my path to sovereignty"
"Well said, although I am not with you but with what you said deserves my agreement " A beautiful lady with unparalleled charm and war goddess aura claps her hand "Tang San, similar to your father, why do you want to sacrifice yourself for a woman ? Why don't you obediently hand over that spirit beast to me and I may consider ignoring the fact that we have enmity with each other "
This beauty surpassing the celestial fairies is none other than Bibi Dong, one who is said to be the sinister woman in the world.
Although she is transcendent, but currently she is also injured and has suffered dozens of damages.
Currently they are surrounded by devastating ruins of a city which once used to be a prosperous and lively city where hundreds of thousand lives used to live.
"You bitch, I was the first one who had my eyes on that hundred thousand years old spirit ring, you dare get in my way" A cold glint flashed in the eyes of Sagar while glaring at his arch-enemy, one whom he has always hated in his life.
She has always been an obstacle in his life, always encountering him in the time when his success was only inches away from him.
Because of this bitch, he has always suffered defeat and humiliation.
As for Bibi Dong, even her expression was not so calm and was actually ugly while glaring at Sagar.
This bastard has always been throne on her path, always encountering him when she was about to succeed in something just to fail harshly.
Because of him, she has again and again met with defeat and humiliation.
"Has your name imprinted on that spirit beast ? Hump" Bibi Dong coldly snorts, causing the whole environment to drastically drop in temperature.
"Even if there hasn't, that hundred thousand years old spirit ring is still mine" Sagar reveals his sharp fang and suddenly through his back, four dark and crimson Kagune comes out, extending in both length and size.
"Do you think I am scared of your little trick? " Bibi Dong wasn't scared and she too activated her legendary Soul Bone which she had found before and had fused — Spider Deity Arms.
Pair of six spider legs extended through her tailbone, each sharp and powerful enough to pierce iron and metals even without the empowerment from the soul power of a spirit master.
"Hehe" Sagar was so infuriated by the display of those six spider arms, he nearly vomited blood from his blood pressure rising.
That spider arm should have belonged to him but this treacherous bitch schemed against him and stole his loot, till this day, he has not forgotten this hatred.
"Xiao Wu isn't a spirit beast or a hundred thousand years old spirit ring, she is Xiao Wu so stop disrespecting her " Tang San was ferocious after seeing how those two were treating his woman as if she was just a mere object for them.
"Hehehe" Sagar didn't mind at all after seeing Tang San exploding with anger " You see, love has blinded you and obscured your vision "
He slowly widens his devilish grin " love is nothing but display of weakness for a weakling like you , Tang San"
"Stop this childish tantrums and hand over that hundred thousand years old spirit ring to me and I shall forgive you for your impulse" Sagar slowly raised his four Kagune in the air, although he was drained off his soul power, his Kagune was still there to support him.
"Oh, so you mean to say love is just a display of weakness ?" Bibi Dong snorted coldly and in amusement, clearly expressing her disdain for Sagar .
Sagar blinks his eyes, not wanting to answer her.
"Answer me and stop ignoring me, you ungrateful bastard " Bibi Dong was more than angered after seeing Sagar ignore her, she couldn't restrain herself from exploding " You clearly were the first one to approach me in the name of love and used me however you wanted, didn't you ?"
".....No comments" Sagar felt a headache after listening to her, yes although he did approach this ruthless woman in the name of love but it was none other than for benefits.
And more than that, have you ever considered the age gap between us ? I am the same age as Tang San while you can easily be someone of my mother's age.....or so ?
"You bastard !!" Bibi Dong was so infuriated, her wrath blinded her from rational thinking " I will kill you for sure"
She raised her right arm with the intention of killing yet suddenly Sagar's ordinary eyes transformed into a pair of purple eyes with a layer of rings attached, each ring having three tomoes embedded while a mysterious power was emanating ruthlessly.
"Almighty Push" He stretches his right arm forward and pointed at Bibi Dong, unleashing a terrifying force capable of destroying buildings after buildings
But strangely enough, the force didn't meet Bibi Dong, instead it changed its trajectory at the last moment and flew away in the other direction.
Destroying one ruin after another, leaving an endless rail of destruction.
"Why you....why do you have to be like this ?" Finally the proud and arrogant lady couldn't endure all the sadness washing over her, her weakness overtaking her and causing her to fall on her knees.
She did her best to not cry but sadly, her pain won over her mindset, gradually she broke down and her emotions condensed into tears, falling out of her beautiful eyes.
"You...have always been like this" She lowers her head down and her hoarse voice filled with conflicting emotions reaches for the void, mainly for Sagar who watched her with immovable eyes.
".....I thought that finally I found someone whom I can lean on..." Bibi Dong tries to smile, only for her smile to display uglier than the ugly toad ".....yet fate played me again, am i so undeserving of love and warmth ?"
Slowly the thunder turned into a drop of rain, falling over the land and showering the entire world.
Tang San and Xiao Wu who were both injured and weak, meet each other eyes in confusion before turning to look at Sagar who was silently observing the pitiful woman whom fate and destiny has slapped her mercilessly.
"...." Tang San wanted to say something but realizing that it was an opportunity for him and Xiao Wu to escape, he grabs Xiao Wu right hand and escapes with her.
On the other hand, the drizzle of the raindrop continues to dominate and devour the silence.
Drenching over the thunderous rain, Sagar silently walks close to Bibi Dong and stands close to her.
He tries to comfort her but a guilt in his heart stops him from his action, he frowns and his brows tightly knots in the middle, inhaling long breaths he sighed deeply.
Bibi Dong continued to cry and her tears kept on getting devoured by the rain, simultaneously Sagar also raised his head up to admire the sky only for him to find dark clouds shrouding his vision.
In the thunderous stormy rain, a beautiful lady transcending nine heaven for eternity was crying her heart while being washed away by the tears of the world itself.
And a young man who was suffering from guilt and conflicting emotions stood silently, everything, be it past or future and even the present, nothing was sure .
Everything was unfathomable but one thing both were sure of was, the future was more painful than the present and the past.
The young man does not say anything to comfort the pitiful lady while the pitiful lady also does not utter even a single word in return.
Just like that, both the man and woman remain silent.
