Chapter 3: The Way World Operates
Although Nuoding City was great and all in the eyes of commoners but in actuality, it was nothing special in the eyes of those high echelon.
While the trading between two empires was available within this remote city, it wasn't important and wasn't given any importance by the powerhouse ruling the empire nor the province.
For example, there is Spirit Hall established within the inner wall but this Spirit Hall is only of lowest rank where even the highest authority is but a mere Grandmaster.
Even Spirit Hall deems Nuoding worthless and unworthy of their attention.
The city is mainly ruled by three different powerhouses, Spirit Hall, Local Powerhouses and Nobles.
Of course, these nobles aren't the same as real powerhouses but just mere titled lords who have received low-ranking titles from the royal family.
A little kid in his early seven, wearing an ordinary outfit befitting a villager but in the eyes of citizens, he is just a country bumpkin, walks around.
If we talk about his height, he is well built and doesn't lack any nutrition for his growth. He is taller than an average seven year old kid, of course it is due to his three different martial souls.
Walking around the street, Sagar was bewitched by the beauty of the city.
Each building has ancient air, as if it has been existing since the time immemorial.
Those residents wearing medieval age outfits but with unique grace and charm, commoners sadly didn't have those privileges and only the rich folk had the ability to enjoy such luxury.
While walking around, Sagar began to experience hunger and his hunger wasn't gonna ease with time. Instead, the vicissitudes of the time would only intensify his hunger.
He didn't know what he should do to ease his hunger and escape the current predicament.
He looks around and suddenly finds a fruit stall opening so early in the morning, he didn't know if it was right or not but a sudden thought appeared within his head.
'Why not steal the fruit ?' He shook his head and stabilized his mindset, prompting him to clear his head and look at the world much more clearly.
'But this hunger is killing me' He has been starving since the beginning of his journey but because of his willpower alone he has been staying awake the whole time.
His consciousness was awake but reason told him that he should not resist the temptation.
Slap-slap
He slaps himself to keep himself awake, just when he was about to walk away he heard some commotion. Following those commotion, he witnessed some scenes ongoing.
On the street close to the street stalls, there were a few groups of young teenagers clad in blue outfits.
They were wearing some luxurious outfit resembling academic uniform according to what Sagar can tell.
"You lowly pest, how dare you ask for money from this young master ? Are you tired of living and want to die so early in the morning ?" A young teenager in his early twelve or thirteen, wearing the academic outfit was scolding a middle aged man.
He was followed by a group of a few teenagers as well, each of them were vigorous and energetic.
"Young master Xiao, please don't do this to me, I have family to feed " The middle aged man was wearing a simple and plain outfit, his sleeveless shirt revealing his thick arms and outward stretching stomach.
He was fat and had small eyes covered by his thick skin.
As for the young teenager.
Large stature tall and straight, although his face remained childish, he already had a bit of an adult appearance. His features also counted as handsome and spirited while he was taller than his peer, he was the son of castellan of Nuoding City.
His father is Xiao Dong Man, governor of the Nuoding City that has influence over both politics and personal relations, hence the reason why Xiao Chen Yu was unafraid of the consequences while bullying those weak and insignificant characters.
As long as he does not confronts against someone with actual background, Xiao Chen Yu is fearless and bold, always tyrannical. This is also the reason why he is the boss of Nuoding Academy.
"Like I care, hump" Xiao Chen Yu snorts disdainfully.
The middle aged man is Feng Yan, a humble fruit seller who earns money from selling his fruit . But he didn't expect that the son of castellan would come to bully him so early in the morning.
Although he isn't a spirit master, he still has some soul power compared to ordinary humans. Yet how can he fight against the son of castellan, after all he is the son of a noble while on the other hand, Feng Yan is only a humble fruit seller.
"Young master Xiao, I beg you. Please don't do such a horrible thing to me, the fruits you took away from my stall is worth ten coppers which is already one month living expense of my family " Feng Yan hurriedly ran and got on his knees, grabbing the right leg of Xiao Chen Yu he started to cry for mercy.
"Humph, this young master does not care about your family nor you, but why don't you send your wife to this young master ?" "Hahaha, did you hear that? Why don't you send your wife to our boss Xiao and he will offer you some bones " The followers of Xiao Chen Yu started to laugh at the shopkeeper, of course they didn't have even a shred of compassion for the shopkeeper.

But at the sametime, extreme weakness washed over his body. Being unable to do anything despite someone trashing his wife's reputation, Feng Yan felt both humiliated and ashamed.

Of course after Xiao Chen Yu walked away, someone approached Feng Yan and started to slowly and unhurriedly pick those apples and other fruits from the stall while packing them in a plastic bag.

"Humph, hump" Sagar did his best to act arrogant just like those young teenagers from earlier " You dare scold me and even call me a kid, do you know who my master is ?"
His eyes were firm and powerful, while his attitude was both arrogant and disdainful of Feng Yan.
Feng Yan frowns tightly, failing to read the situation.
"If my master wants, he can easily kill all your family and lineage and it will not even take a single night for him to execute such an effortless, trivial task" Sagar frowns and sharply glares at the fruit seller.

Before anything could happen, Sagar has already left the area causing Feng Yan's face to turn pale from everything he suffered.
"...." He stood in his original position while grunting over his bad luck.

After Sagar left the area, he didn't know where he had arrived but it was close to a smithy.
After he arrives close to the smithy, he heaves a sigh of relief and rests on the nearby street bench.
There was a bench placed on the street and was empty, resting on the bench Sagar takes out an apple and takes a bite, that single bite rejuvenated his whole body and spirit.
" Sigh, how many years has it been since I last ate an apple ?" He asked himself, when he was living in the hospital, almost everyday, he only ate apples.
"Looks like I can't escape from you ?" Sagar shook his head and continued to eat the fruits, almost half the plastic was already emptied.
"When I mentioned about a powerful master whom I serve, that fruit seller attitude changed very quickly " After filling his stomach, his brain starts to run and many thoughts starts to appear within his head " If I truly serve a powerful master whom the inhabitants of the city wouldn't even dare to touch, won't I possess tremendous authority to do anything I deem fit ?"
Suddenly his eyes sparked, finally he has decided what to do ?
"Hey kid, what are you doing here all alone ?" Suddenly a middle aged man with a large body and thick muscles, wearing black undershirt and revealing his broad shoulders, comes to Sagar.
Sagar frowns, looking at this stranger, he becomes vigilant.
"I am just sitting here and enjoying eating my fruits " Sagar reveals a trace of caution but soon he returns back to being childish " And who are you uncle ?"
"Hoho, my name is Shi San, Shi for rock. The master of Nuoding Smithy '' The energetic voice of Shi San was powerful and full of vitality, pointing at the smithy not so far, he proudly introduces himself " See there, that's my smithy "
"Oh" Sagar nods his head with admiration, to own a private smithy in a city is truly something great . An achievement worthy to brag about.
Although Sagar is from an advanced era, he still was just a member of a poor family who didn't have ancestral wealth left by his ancestor .

"But mainly, my name here means Sea Of Trust, one whom you can trust even with your eyes closed because those who trust me, I shall never break their trust " Of course Sagar didn't mention anything else other than just the first meaning of his name.
His name also means Sea Of Love. After all Rai also means Love and Delight that originates from a Hindu Goddess.
According to Google, Rai also means Goddess Radha which also means Love and Delight.

Although he can say that he can at least hold someone's trust but he can't guarantee the same for love, after all he has already suppressed that feeling within his heart.
To hold someone's trust while having love in your heart is one thing and to hold someone's trust without love is another.

"Spirit Hall....." Sagar deeply falls in contemplation, nobody except he knows what he was thinking right now.
"Of course, there are few merchant and associations too, they are branches from some powerful organization" Shi San stands from his sit and turns around " Little Sagar, it is time for me to return so see you around next time "
Finishing what he needed to say, Shi San left.
As for Sagar, he deeply gazes at the smithy and the walking away silhouette.
"..." He remains silent for a long time before smiling " Why didn't I thought about that, looks like my iq had dropped after living in that damnation village "
A sudden idea appeared in his head: if he can reproduce those advanced equipment from his previous life in this undeveloped world, wouldn't he earn big and even manage to embark his first step on the road to greatness ?

Don't confuse here something, this isn't Soul Land 3 or 4 where technologies has started to finally touch the space. At this era, technologies weren't that powerful after all.
And of course, The invention Sagar will be producing won't be some op bitches .
Also, I was doing research on details about Nuoding City, its location, where does the city locates, where does the academy locates, where does the spirit hall locates, who commands Nuoding Spirit Hall, who commands Nuoding Smithy and many more.
Thankfully, within chapter 12 of novel, everything is mentioned .
