In one part of the town, a certain being could be seen standing in the roof of a building. He has white shoulder length hair wearing a kimono that is similar to what Ryougi Shiki usually wore. This man is Tohno Shiki, the original Tohno Shiki to be exact, the boy who was replaced by the new Tohno Shiki.
He is aware that his body will be soon consumed by a monstrous being and yet he made no preparation for the future. He is willing to let this bloodsucker inhibit his body as long as he fulfill this little wish of his, he will then have no qualms to whatever he will do after. Whether conquer the world or commit a genocide, he doesn't care.
"Hateful bastard" SHIKI muttered observing the scene of his own biological sister treating the outsider Shiki with delicate care. It infuriated him how that man simply lived his life peacefully while the others suffer because of him. He took over his identity yet he dared to lose his memory? That is maddening! SHIKI swore that he will make him remember who he was and put him in his place.
SHIKI felt a weird sensation on his body that only he is cognizant about it, "Roa, I hope this will at least influence you, you bastard" SHIKI muttered before his control slowly vanished. His consciousness was replaced by a horrific being that has caused multiple chaos throughout his life. He is person who willed himself to become a vampire.
He, Michael Roa Valdamjong, the Serpent of Akasha and the regret of Arcueid Brunestud once again basked in the light of life.
Among the Dead Apostles, he was known as the Serpent of Akasha. This is due to the serpent being the symbol of infinity and cycles. Shedding its skin and gaining a new body, it was perfect for his name. On the other hand, he is recorded in the church as the 'Infinite Reincarnator'. His human name is Michael Roa Valdamjong, he is also referred to as 'Roa'.
Roa was a priest of the church in the past that sought immortality and tricked Arcueid Brunestud, the Princess of True Ancestors to drink his blood. This caused the Princess to go berserk and wipe out almost all the True Ancestors speaking of her undeniable strength. This event also turned Roa into one of the most powerful Dead Apostles.
A way to create a Dead Apostle is for a True Ancestor to drink the blood of others, and Arcueid being one of the most powerful True Ancestor created the horrifying being called Roa. She was her first and will be her last Dead Apostle that she will ever create. Roa's original body was previously defeated by a coalition comprised of Arcueid and Burial Agency, and he has been reincarnating ever since then.
Roa took a sniff in the air and smiled in delight. The world was still as hideous as he previously experienced, he doesn't dislike this air and was rather fond of it. It made him remember that he still has a goal to complete and he is alive. Just this information is already a blessing to Roa for reasons that he sensed something dangerous will befall into this land.
Roa grinned happily and was about to move when his mind was suddenly bombarded memories. A few seconds of bombardment passed before Roa could finally move his body, he clicked his tongue in annoyance to what just happened. That was a cheap trick that this previous owner made, he stuffed several emotions in Roa's heart successfully trapping the vampire into doing what he wanted.
"Very well, it is just some minor annoyance anyway, it won't matter if I kill some random guy in the middle of this" Roa muttered pushing the irritation away. That will surely cloud his mind if it continue to dwell on his mind. "It matters not, I will still finish my goal. Arcueid my dear, wait for me. I will surely devour you completely this time" Roa muttered grinning.

Ciel who parted ways with Lawrence and Arcueid sighed in relief. Although she already became friends with those two monsters, the pressure of them suddenly changing their minds still exist, it cannot calm her mind at all. She was rather thankful that the two are more 'human' than other beings, at least they didn't act irrationally and she was grateful for that.
Looking at the mansion infront of her, Ciel nodded her head ready to execute this infiltration mission of hers. She has already got a clue that the current host of Roa might exist in this mansion, her guts is also telling her that. Carefully threading her path, Ciel swiftly entered the mansion, she was proud that her infiltration didn't receive any kind of resistance at all. This means that her skill didn't rust.
Arriving at a certain office, Ciel entered the room without releasing any noise. She didn't waste any of her time and did an inspection throughout the whole room, checking files through files. After finishing almost all of the important files, she found no clue about the current host. 'Does this household not possess any connection to Roa?' Ciel thought.
She shook her head as that possibility is far too illogical, her instinct is literally screaming at her that it has a huge connection. She can't just simply ignore that, Ciel was about to search more when she suddenly sensed someone appearing on the door. "Oh? And here I thought everyone is already sleeping. Was I too noisy?" Ciel asked smiling at the new person.
"I didn't expect any guest tonight, I'm sorry for the rude treatment" the other girl with black hair responded before Ciel was blasted by something hitting her. Her body flew out of the window breaking it on the process, she landed on a tree crushing the trunk from the impact. Ciel coughed a small amount of blood from the attack.
Ciel locked her eyes to the new figure smiling lightly, "Tohno Akiha. Good evening, I hope I didn't disturb your night" Ciel said waving at the girl. With the identity revealed, the girl did not hold back anymore. "Tell me, what brought you to my house intruder" Akiha demanded narrowing her eyes, it was a rare occurrence that an intruder managed to enter their house.
Being the head of Tohno Family in such young age, Akiha was more mature than normal teenagers. She certainly know how to run this family, and this is not the first time she encountered a situation like this, this might explain why she is calm in this moment. She is much more wary in this time because her beloved brother has returned to their household, she won't hold back in protecting him.
"Hm? I just wish to know something, if you can fill me in then I will immediately leave this house" Ciel said smiling, she was having this easy-going attitude making it hard for Akiha to maintain her irritation. The intruder has the guts to even negotiate after messing with their confidential files, she won't forgive this insolence.
Akiha's hair began rising by itself and with swift speed, she lashed them out towards Ciel. The executioner reacted immediately by dodging to the side narrowly avoiding the fatal hit, she raised her eyebrow when there was a certain heat left behind by the attack. "Heat? You have fire based ability?" Ciel asked dodging the hair that Akiha was throwing around.
Each attack of the hair can pierce through trees so Ciel had to be careful not to get hit by those, it will surely leave a devastating damage that will be hard to heal. "You talk too much!" Akiha shouted raising the intensity of her attacks. This brought a new level of danger towards Ciel, she doesn't dare to try accepting them head on.
Seeing this situation, Ciel revealed her weapons placing the Black Keys through her fingers. Dashing towards Akiha, she slashed the rapier like sword that is actually scriptures to the girl. This of course initiated a reaction from Akiha forcing her to parry the attack using her hair. Ciel did a few more attempts at Akiha.
However after realizing it was useless, she discarded the Holy Scriptures and used guns instead. She fired them at Akiha leaving the girl with no choice but to take shelter. Ciel used this chance to try and escape but to her surprise there was another person waiting for her on the side. It was Kohaku grinning creepily at Ciel taking her off guard.
That slight moment of distraction was enough for Akiha to take advantage. Her hair ignited with flames burning intensely. She ordered it to hit Ciel slapping the executioner hard while burning a large part of her body. She fell to the ground clenching her fist in pain, however much to Akiha's surprise, Ciel did not scream. She just groaned quiety already used to such pain.
"Now, fess up intruder. What is your purpose into coming here?" Akiha asked placing her hair on Ciel's neck. With one movement from her, Ciel's neck will surely detached from her head. Yet instead of being afraid, Ciel just smirked at Akiha. "Too late" she said as an explosion took Akiha's attention away. "They are here" Ciel muttered in joy.
